'In you get then' John says when he opens the back doors of his van and cage. I climb into the cage and sit on the bench then John closes and locks the cage, then slams the back doors.
I can hear talking outside the van. I'm not sure what's going on but John starts shouting, he rarely shouts so whoever it is has pissed him off, I think it might be Tony but I'm not to sure.
After a few minutes of shouting all goes silent.
I hear the sound of footsteps again then the driver's door opens and John clambers in quietly.
He starts the engine then he pulls off. He drives in complete silence as I sit in the back bracing myself and holding on. About 15 minutes later John pulls up into the school courtyard.
John shuts off the engine then climbs out. The back doors open a few moments later then John unlocks the cage and opens it for me. The two security officers are here again when they step forward to grab me though John stops them saying his taking me in to see Mr Tiz.
The older security officer talks on his radio then we walk the short distance to the school then the officer opens up the heavy door that leads inside. John holds my shoulder lightly escorting me inside.
I step through the door and into the cell with John right behind me, The door closes immediately then the cell is unlocked and opened for us by another officer. I walk John to Mr Tiz's office, His door is wide open. He knows we're here already. His waiting!
'Come in officer' Mr Tiz says politely.
We both step in. I didn't get much choice in the matter but I'm here now, I might as well get this over with.
'Hope what do you need to say to Mr Tiz?' John says sternly, Looking over to me.
'I'm sorry sir, I shouldn't have redecorated secure' Mr Tiz looks taken back for a moment, shock lines his features then he recovers and nods curtly at me, clearing his throat.
'Right, you will go and clean your mess up immediately, there's an officer waiting outside'.
I stand up walk out the office door and make my way to secure with the security officer that's been waiting outside.
'There's a sponge and bucket ready for you' the officer tells me curtly then opens the door for me.
I step in and start cleaning. The soup has dried so it's a little difficult to get off but I manage to completely clean everything in no time. It was actually quite therapeutic, but I won't tell Mr Tiz that. He might think I want to do this more often.
The cell door is still open so I put down the sponge down and dry my hands on my clothes then step out as I'm finished. The security officer pokes his head into the cell for a moment then nods approvingly. He talks on his radio as he leads me back to Mr Tiz's office.
I knock on the open door then Mr Tiz motions for me to come in so I sit down on the chair I occupied earlier then he starts talking
'John here, has surprisingly vouched for you, I was going to put you back in secure however as you were arrested that's been a suitable punishment. I will escort you to your dorm then to class when we're finished here.' 'Now listen, John has informed me on your needs Hope I understand you better now, what I received from the court was not your full history. Thanks to John I'm now aware you have ADHD and you struggle with your peers. I will keep a close eye on you, if I was aware of your condition before I would have allowed adjustments in secure. I can only apologise for not making any before' he goes quiet then looks at John.
John turns to face me then speaks.
'Hope I'll be transferring to the local station today for nights, Mr Tiz has asked me to do security work here during the day, Mr Tiz has asked me to deal with you so try settle down for me, I can't be chasing you around here' he says lightly.
'Thanks John, I'm glad you're coming to work here, I bet you thought you'd gotten rid of me before' I joke causing John to chuckle heartily.
We both walk John out so he can file his transfer. When John leaves Mr Tiz walks me to my dorm.
I shower and get dressed then step out into the hallway. 'Come along Hope' Mr Tiz orders before we walk down the stairs and out.
We walk along the path then enter the school building.
