Chapter 68 - Justice Beatdown

Boom!

Diken, as one of the Vampires' finest, possessed immense strength. After being possessed by the Blood God, his power increased several times over. However, Zed effortlessly caught Diken's seemingly unstoppable punch.

Zed's left hand gripped Diken's fist as he sneered, "Is that all you've got? No strength in your punches, and you want to rule the world? Eat shit!"

As the words left his mouth, Zed kicked Diken in the knee.

Boom!

Diken's kneecap shattered.

Diken's eyes glazed over as he half-knelt on the ground, still trying to understand what had happened.

Zed raised his blade and plunged it into Diken's temple, continuously stirring his brains. "Are you enjoying yourself?"

Ah!

The excruciating pain in his head jolted Diken awake, and he couldn't help but wail and scream.

But the pain also ignited Diken's bloodlust. All of Diken's veins bulged, and an overwhelming surge of strength and determination surged through him.

Diken roared, putting all his strength into his shoulder. He escaped Zed's grasp, even if it meant breaking his right arm.

Diken stumbled backward, putting distance between himself and Zed. He used his left hand to try and straighten his broken right arm.

The Blood God's power surged into Diken's broken arm, releasing a foul smell. After a series of grotesque contortions, Diken's right arm was restored.

Diken raised his head, his voice hoarse and filled with menace, and asked, "Who exactly are you?"

"You shouldn't have asked that question. Now, I have no choice but to kill you. Remember this, I am the Demon King of the Hour!"

Boom!

The ground beneath their feet exploded. Zed instantly appeared in front of Diken, his blade slicing through the air with a whistling sound.

Diken, now without any weapons, dared not be arrogant. He rolled away in a desperate attempt to dodge the direct thrust.

After absorbing the Amazon Cells, Zed's power skyrocketed. His new physical abilities and old combat skills weren't fully integrated yet.

Zed couldn't stop his blade in time; it plunged straight into the ruins' wall, causing huge cracks to spread across it.

Diken seized the opportunity and roared at his subordinates: "Attack!"

Diken didn't understand why this guy was so strong, but he knew he couldn't win in a one-on-one fight.

The Vampires surrounded Zed. They kept their distance and aimed their firearms at him.

Surrounded by a barrage of large-caliber guns, Zed wasn't panicked, but rather sighed:

"Has the times changed?"

With that said, Zed lowered his stance, tensed his legs, and, before the bullets could reach him, blurred into motion, charging towards the Vampires.

Countless bullets clung tightly to Zed's back, but he was simply too fast. He appeared on the left, then the right, occasionally leaping onto the walls, his movements even wilder than the Vampires.

Once Zed charged into the Vampire horde, he swung his blade again and again, cleaving everything in his path in two, his path leading straight towards Diken.

Not a single Vampire could stop Zed for even a moment.

Amidst the slaughter, Zed's gaze caught Diken retreating towards the stairs, "Trying to escape?"

Zed stepped on a Vampire's head and leaped into the air, extending his right arm towards Diken.

Claw Loading

The blade on his right arm immediately transformed into a claw and shot towards Diken.

Plop!

The claw pierced through him, erupting in a spray of blood.

"How is this possible?"

Diken, clutching the grappling claw with one hand and covering his wound with the other, muttered to himself in disbelief.

Zed landed and yanked the grappling claw back with force, using Diken as a weapon. Spinning him around like a windmill a few times, Zed cleared out most of the Vampires.

Zed then increased his strength, spinning faster and faster, before slamming Diken hard against the ceiling of the ruins.

Boom!

The ceiling of the ruins exploded, creating a large hole. A vast sea of blood poured through the opening and into the lower level.

This blood became Diken's best supply. His body absorbed the blood like a sponge.

An even more pungent stench emanated from Diken. "Ha… ha… ha! You can't kill me!"

Diken grinned savagely and climbed to his feet, his wounds completely gone. But he wasn't the only one to rise.

Blade, like a helpless child, was trapped within the torture device, filled with despair and confusion.

Past life fragments flashed before Blade's eyes like a revolving lantern.

Blade knew he was dying. The death he'd always craved was finally upon him, but this wasn't the way he wanted to go.

Huu… Huu… Blade's weakened breaths grew increasingly rapid. For the first time, Blade felt a will to live surge from his heart.

I can't die yet! At least, not today!

Blade's mother heard the rapid panting and felt a bit strange. She walked towards the torture device like she was courting death, slowly tilting her head to press her ear against it, trying to hear what the sound was.

Bang!

A bloodied hand broke through the cracks of the torture device and grabbed her head. Then, another hand reached out from the gap and pried the device open.

A terrifying, gruesome face appeared before Blade's mother—a dark face, fangs bared, with terrifying vertical pupils.

After Blade and she made eye contact, Blade's mother understood what Blade intended to do. She begged, trembling, "No! No! Please!"

But Blade wouldn't waver in the slightest. He didn't say another word, biting into her neck to replenish his lost blood.

Gulp. Gulp.

Blade was greedily sucking down the blood, while his mother's eyes grew increasingly unfocused. The blood loss had left her incredibly weak. "Please, don't… let me go. Please! I'm your mother!"

Blade released his fangs and gripped her throat, saying,

"You're just a Vampire I'm about to eliminate. Farewell, Mother!"

Crack!

Blade personally saw to his mother's end. However, he felt no sorrow, because he was certain that everything he did was righteous.

After replenishing some blood, Blade recovered enough to move around, but it still wasn't enough to fight.

Blade turned his gaze towards the blood pool nearby.

To break the Blood God's seal, the blood of a Daywalker was needed. But a single person's blood was only a catalyst. The ritual required a large amount of fresh blood to succeed.

And Diken needed a lot of blood to entertain the other Vampire nobles, so the remaining blood was now a bargain for Blade.

Blade picked up the black trench coat on the ground and put on all his equipment one by one. He turned his back to the blood pool and fell backward.

"I am Blade!"

Boom!

A hand covered in blood broke through the rubble, attracting Zed and Diken's attention. Then, Blade, in a black trench coat and covered in blood, climbed up from the ground.

Blade silently adjusted his sunglasses and looked at Diken, then turned his head to look at Zed.

Diken was already struggling against Zed alone, and with an extra Blade, he was definitely finished.

Diken cautiously guarded against the two, his feet constantly rubbing slightly, ready to run away at any moment.

Blade took out a blank watch face from the lining of his coat and pressed it without hesitation, "Thank you for your goods."

The dark red and bright yellow lights intertwined, emanating an aura more noble than the Yalan. This was the aura of a king.

Zed laughed heartily:

"So it's Kiva (Moon Knight)! What a great haul!"

Blade looked at the black and yellow watch on his wrist, muttering:

"Kiva, huh? That's a cool name!"

Then, Blade pressed the watch button again.

A yellow and black bat flew out of the watch, circled Blade twice, and then bit into his arm.

Immediately, silver chains wrapped around Blade's waist, transforming into a red belt.

Blade looked at the little bat's claws and the hanging rod on the belt, immediately understanding how to use it. He hung the little bat on the belt.

Boom! A sound of shattering glass rang out, and Blade transformed into Kamen Rider Kiva.

Kiva raised his hands and carefully looked at his appearance, wanting to say a thousand things but only managing a cool "Cool."

"Stop being cool!"

While Kiva was admiring himself, Zed had already stopped Diken, who was trying to slip away.

Kiva raised his head, drew his twin blades, and slashed them together, creating a fierce spark and a piercing sound. Then, he took a step forward and charged towards Diken.

Diken was currently using a military machete he'd picked up from the ground, struggling to defend against Zed's attacks. The intense killing intent coming from behind made Diken's hair stand on end.

Diken roared, and his entire body turned as red as a cooked shrimp. The Blood God's power boiled within him, providing Diken with more strength.

Diken knocked aside Zed's blade, then turned to block Blade's twin swords. Simultaneously, he lowered his left arm, slamming into Blade's chest and delivering a fierce elbow strike to Blade's abdomen.

"Argh!"

A wave of intense pain washed over Diken, and his plan went awry.

Diken's elbow strike hadn't landed on Blade's abdomen; instead, he was savagely bitten by a little bat.

Diken quickly retracted his arm, but before he could regain his balance, Zed's blade had already plunged into Diken's lower back. Zed twisted his right hand and pulled the blade back.

Plop~

The pull not only released a torrent of blood but also tore through flesh, internal organs, and more. Even a length of intestine was ripped out by Zed.

"Argh! Damn it! It hurts! Argh! You bastard! You bastard!"

The Blood God's power granted Diken immense strength and vitality, but it also amplified his nervous system, making the pain unbearable.

Diken, hunched over and trembling, gritted his teeth, glaring fiercely at the two, daring not to make the first move again.

Diken slowly shifted his feet, changing positions in an effort to gain an advantage, even a small one.

Healing wounds also took a lot of time and energy, and right now, Diken was lacking in both.

Zed was also happy to fight for a while longer; it wasn't often you found a sandbag that could heal itself, so it was perfect for training.

Zed raised his right arm, the blade slowly approaching Diken, while Blade compressed Diken's range of movement from another direction.

The two of them worked together, with a silent understanding, forcing Diken into a dead end.

"Hmph! A desperate struggle!"
