By sunrise, social media was a war zone.
"Luna deserves better than some broke street boy."
"Leave them alone! They're in love!"
"Jayna is the ship of the century!"
Fan clubs split, hashtags trended, and sponsors threatened to pull out. Star Entertainment went into panic mode.
Luna's manager slammed the table in a meeting. "Do you understand what's happening?! Half the fandom wants to burn him alive!"
Jayden raised his hand weakly. "For the record, I don't recommend being burned alive."
The manager groaned. "Why is he even here?!"
Luna's gaze was firm. "Because he's not leaving."
Crystal Han, meanwhile, was busy pouring gasoline on the fire. She posted a photo of herself hugging Jayden from their old music club days with the caption:
> "Funny how some people forget where they came from. Fame changes everything, doesn't it? :)"
The internet exploded. #JaydenCheating trended.
Jayden almost passed out when he saw it. "WHAT—Cheating?! On who? I don't even have money to cheat with!"
Max howled with laughter. "Congrats, bro. You're officially a K-drama plotline."
That night, Jayden snuck onto the rooftop again, needing air. He strummed his guitar absently, the notes shaky.
"I'm way out of my league," he muttered. "She's the moon. I'm… I'm just street trash orbiting her light."
He didn't notice Luna standing behind him until she spoke softly. "Funny. I was thinking the opposite."
Jayden jumped so hard he almost dropped his guitar. "Don't sneak up like that! I could've had a heart attack—and then you'd be dating a ghost!"
She smiled faintly, walking closer. "Jayden. I don't care what they say. The fans, the rumors, even Crystal. None of it matters when I'm with you."
His chest tightened. He opened his mouth to joke, to deflect, but the words caught.
Instead, he whispered, "Luna… I think I'm—"
FLASH.
A camera clicked from the shadows. Paparazzi had found them.
The rooftop erupted in shouts as more cameras appeared, flooding the scene with blinding light.
"Luna! Jayden! Look this way!"
"Are you confessing love?!"
Jayden's half-spoken words hung in the air, unfinished, swallowed by chaos.
He grabbed her hand, pulling her toward the stairwell. His heart thundered.
Not just from running. But from what he hadn't gotten to say.
He was in love.

Episode Five : The Rooftop That Changed Everything
The next morning, every news outlet had the same photo on the front page:
Luna and Jayden on the rooftop, holding hands under the city lights.
Headlines screamed:
"Secret Romance Confirmed?!"
"Street Boy Steals Luna's Heart!"
"The Scandal That Might End a Career!"
Jayden buried his face in a pillow. "Great. Now my neighbors think I'm a homewrecker when I don't even own a home."
Max shoved his phone in Jayden's face. "Bro, you're officially the internet's boyfriend. Half of the fans want to marry you. The other half want to throw you into traffic. Balance."
At Star Entertainment, chaos reigned. The CEO slammed his desk. "Luna, either deny this relationship or prepare for your career to collapse!"
Luna sat calmly, sunglasses on, sipping iced coffee. "Then let it collapse."
The room froze.
Her manager nearly fainted. "ARE YOU INSANE?!"
Luna set down her drink, her voice like steel. "I'm tired of living for everyone else. For once, I want something real. And Jayden is real."
Jayden, however, was spiraling. He sat in his apartment, staring at his guitar.
She's risking everything for me. Fame, money, her entire career. And what do I have? A secondhand guitar and expired instant noodles.
The weight crushed him.
When his phone buzzed, he ignored it.
When Luna knocked at his door, he didn't answer.
But when he finally opened the door hours later, Luna was still there—sitting on the floor, hoodie pulled over her head, holding two cups of ramen.
She looked up and grinned. "You weren't gonna eat without me, right?"
Jayden's chest ached. He sat beside her, taking the ramen silently. For a long moment, they ate in quiet.
Finally, Jayden whispered, voice raw, "Luna… I think I'm in love with you."
Her chopsticks froze. Slowly, she turned to face him.
Then—before she could respond—someone snapped a photo.
Flash.
The ramen spilled. Luna gasped. Jayden cursed.
The door at the end of the hall slammed shut—paparazzi had just gotten the shot of the century.
Within hours, the internet was in meltdown mode again:
"HE CONFESSED. HE ACTUALLY CONFESSED."
"Ramen date???"
"Cancel them both!!"
Jayden stared at his phone in horror. "I—I didn't mean for the whole country to hear that!"
Luna's eyes softened. She reached for his hand. "Then say it again. To me."
Heart pounding, Jayden did. This time, with no cameras, no headlines—just them.
"I love you."
And she whispered back, "I love you too."
