Chapter 7 - Shop new functions and hidden vault

[Congratulations!]

The Origin Pet Shop has advanced to Level 1.

To advance to Level 2, requirements must be fulfilled:

1. Accumulate 10,000 origin points

2. Complete a minimum of 10 successful transactions with customers.

New Functions Unlocked:

1. Mirage Pavilion

A simulated world where spirit beasts can train, fight, and temper themselves without real-world risks. Injuries sustained inside will not harm their physical body, yet the experience and comprehension gained are entirely real.

2. Branch Connection

The shop may now establish a sub-branch in another world or location, linked directly to the Origin Pet Shop.

Sub-branches may use certain functions of the main shop, though their ability will be limited.(Current Slot-1)

3. Destiny Compass.

With this function, the Shop may deduce what a customer truly seeks—beast, material, or essence—and reveal where it can be found in their world if available.

4. Realm Voyage.

By spending Origin Points, the host may open gateways into secret planes—realms rich with beasts and spirit treasures. Some are worlds yet unseen, others forgotten by history. The rarer the realm, the higher the toll… and the slimmer the chance of walking out alive. The Shop guarantees opportunity, not survival.

5.Origin Alchemy Kitchen — By offering Origin Points, the shop may craft nourishing foods, elixirs, and delicacies tailored to a beast's nature.

Token Authority

The shopkeeper may now issue Origin Tokens, which act as passes to enter the Pet Shop.

Tokens can be spread throughout various worlds and will guide the bearer to the shop when it is open.

Only Beastmasters below Emperor rank may currently perform transactions here.

Once a token recognizes an owner, it cannot be seized or transferred—not even by force.

Operational Rules

The shop cannot open daily.

At the current level, the shop may only open once per week, for a maximum of four times, followed by a two-month cooldown period.

Host can enter the shop as he wished.

( Only by raising the shop's level will the cooldown be shortened and its frequency increased.)

Then Aion asked the shop to reveal what the so-called token looked like.

In the next instant, a single token appeared in his palm. It was round, coin-like, forged of unknown metal, and etched with the image of a majestic stag. The stag bore seven radiant horns, each gleaming with a different hue, as though the very rainbow had been carved into its crown.

The moment Aion gazed upon it, he felt as if he were beholding the most sacred and beautiful beast in all creation. The token itself shimmered with a soft light before dimming once more, yet the lingering sense of something divine never left his heart.

Eyes narrowing in curiosity, Aion whispered, "What kind of beast is this?"

The shop's voice responded with uncharacteristic reverence.

"It is the Seven-Colored Horned Deer of Destiny—SaptaMriga."

Born in the age when myths still walked among mortals, its history has long since vanished into obscurity, leaving behind only scattered hymns and fractured legends But What is certain is this: the one who encounters SaptaMriga ( athe deer of destiny)will see their destiny rewritten.

If the person is pure of heart, fortune shall embrace them, raising them to heights undreamed of. But if their heart is blackened by greed or cruelty, the beast's presence will strip them of everything, dragging them into inevitable ruin.

Thus, the wise say—should a villain ever learn of its nearness, they would flee rather than dare make contact.

For in the presence of the Deer of Destiny, even the proudest tyrant cannot escape the weight of their own fate.

Aion wandered through the newly awakened halls of the Origin Pet Shop, his steps unhurried, his eyes filled with quiet wonder. The place felt different now—brighter, fuller—as though the very air carried a faint hum of possibility. Each function gleamed with promise, like unopened gifts waiting for the right moment to be revealed.

As he circled behind his cabin, however, his gaze fell on something he had never noticed before: a heavy, ancient-looking door fitted neatly into the wall. Its surface was dark and cool, etched with faint symbols that shimmered like starlight when he came near. Curious, he pressed his hand against it, only to find it utterly unyielding.

"Hm?" Aion tilted his head, trying again with a touch of his authority. The shop had always bent to his will—but this time, the door didn't even flinch.

"System," he called, half amused, "why does my shop have a door I can't open?"

The system's voice chimed smoothly in his mind:

> [This is the Hidden Vault.]

[Within are beast eggs from ages long past—creatures of immense potential, preserved through time itself. However, host's current authority is insufficient. Only when the Origin Pet Shop reaches Level 5 will this vault open.]

Aion blinked, then let out a short laugh. "Beast eggs from ancient times, locked away right under my nose? You really do enjoy keeping secrets, don't you?"

He leaned against the sealed door for a moment, feeling a faint warmth radiating from within—as though something on the other side stirred faintly in its slumber. The thought made his heart beat just a little faster.

"Well, if that's how it is, then I suppose I'll just have to keep climbing. Level by level, until even you can't hide things from me anymore," he murmured with a grin.

For a heartbeat, the strange symbols on the vault glimmered faintly, as if sharing in his quiet determination.
