Perfect ⚔️🔥 — Chapter 20 will be an extra-extra long chapter that shows the march of the Crimson Horde after Norvos, as Daenerys and Leonidas set their sights o The March of Fire and Bronze
---
POV: Daenerys – Queen on the Road
The banners of silver and crimson stretched for miles across the horizon. Horses thundered, shields clattered, spears gleamed beneath the sun.
Daenerys rode at the head of the horde, her silver hair streaming, her violet eyes fixed on the path ahead. Behind her marched the Spartan phalanxes, their bronze shields locked in flawless formation. Around them surged the Dothraki, no longer wild riders but disciplined wolves.
They had left Norvos behind, its bells tolling now for her. Ahead lay Qohor — a city famed for its forges and black steel.
"They will resist," Leonidas said beside her, his spear resting across his saddle. "But resistance only makes conquest sweeter."
Daenerys nodded. Yet in her heart, she did not only think of conquest. She thought of legacy. Each city that bent the knee brought her closer to the throne across the sea.
And perhaps, closer to waking the dragons.
---
POV: Leonidas – The Warlord's Eye
Leonidas scanned the endless line of warriors. The Dothraki had adapted faster than he expected. Their bodies were strong, their instincts sharp. They had been wild wolves — now they were wolves trained to hunt in packs.
Spartan captains barked orders, drilling them even on the march. Rows of riders practiced flanking maneuvers. Horse-archers loosed arrows at moving targets. Shield-bearers drilled until their arms trembled.
This was not the horde of Drogo. This was the Crimson Horde.
He allowed himself a rare smile. "Good. They are learning."
But in his mind, the System pulsed:
> [World Quest: Conquest of Essos Begins]
Primary Objective: Take three Free Cities.]
Reward: Legion Command Upgrade – Ability to control 50,000 troops as one unit.]
He gripped his spear tighter. The path was clear.
---
POV: Rakharo – A Rider's Pride
Rakharo had once lived for the wind in his hair and the scream of a charge. But now, as he rode in formation, he felt something deeper — power that did not scatter after one strike, but endured like steel.
He looked at the Spartans and saw brothers, not foreigners. He looked at the queen and saw destiny.
When her voice rang out across the horde — "We march not as raiders, but as conquerors!" — he raised his spear and roared.
The others followed.
The Crimson Horde thundered, its chant shaking the plain.
"A-OO! A-OO! A-OO!"
---
POV: Magisters of Qohor
Within the black stone walls of Qohor, the magisters argued furiously.
"They have taken Norvos!" one cried. "Now they march for us. We must summon aid!"
"Hire sellswords," another urged. "The Second Sons, the Golden Company, the Stormcrows!"
"And when sellswords break before Spartan shields?" a priest snapped. "No, we must bargain. Send tribute. Buy time!"
But outside the council chamber, the famed blacksmiths of Qohor whispered to one another. If the Dragon Queen came, perhaps they should give her what she desired — steel, gold, and oaths.
For who could stand against fire and bronze?
---
POV: Volantis – The Red Temple
The flames writhed higher than ever, visions flashing across the fire.
A silver queen. A bronze warlord. Shields and spears drenched in blood. And behind them, wings — vast, black, and burning.
The High Priest rose, his eyes aflame.
"She is chosen," he declared. "Daenerys Stormborn carries the fire of destiny. And beside her, the Lion of War."
The temple shook with cries.
Some vowed to march east to join her. Others warned against haste. But none denied the fire was rising.
---
POV: Braavos – The Iron Bank
In a candlelit chamber, bankers studied the advance of the Crimson Horde.
"Norvos fallen. Qohor next. If she takes three Free Cities, she will control more wealth than some kingdoms of Westeros."
"And the Spartans make her army unlike any other," another said grimly. "Not raiders. Not mercenaries. Soldiers."
A decision was made in silence.
"Prepare the vaults. Whether she rises or falls, we will profit."
---
POV: Daenerys – At Campfire
That night, the horde camped under the stars. Fires blazed, the sound of training still echoing as Spartans drilled Dothraki even after dark.
Daenerys sat in her tent, the dragon eggs laid beside the fire. Their shells glowed faintly, as if feeding on the conquest itself.
She touched the green one, her breath catching as warmth spread into her palm. For the first time, she felt not just a heartbeat, but the faintest sound — a scrape, as if something within stirred.
Her heart raced. She looked to Leonidas.
"They are waking," she whispered.
He nodded slowly. "Then so must the world."
---
POV: Leonidas – The March Continues
At dawn, the horde moved again.
The plains thundered with hooves, the earth trembling under the disciplined might of twenty thousand riders and three hundred Spartans.
Before them rose the black walls of Qohor. Behind those walls, magisters prayed, mercenaries sharpened swords, and priests rang bells in terror.
Leonidas raised his spear high.
"Forward!"
The chant thundered, shaking the very sky.
"A-OO! A-OO! A-OO!"
The march of fire and bronze had begun.
And no Free City would stand unscathed.
