Chapter 25 - CHAPTER 25

I. The Council of Fire – POV: Daenerys

In the throne room of Sparta Nova, maps stretched across the bronze table.

"Braavos funded our enemies," Leonidas growled. "They sent gold, ships, and spies. They must be taught what fear means."

Daenerys nodded. "And Volantis declared us false. Their priests call us usurpers, their fleets blockade our trade. They claim the title of empire."

She let her hand rest on the black dragon perched on her shoulder, its wings spreading. "We will show them whose empire this truly is."

The council bowed. The decision was made.

First Braavos. Then Volantis.

II. The Titan Falls – POV: Braavosi Admiral

The Braavosi fleet filled the lagoon, proud ships painted with purple sails and golden prows. Above them loomed the Titan of Braavos, colossal and eternal, guardian of the city.

The admiral laughed when he saw the Spartan ships approaching — squat, practical triremes, sails dyed crimson, prows of bronze.

"Barbarians," he sneered. "They will break upon the Titan's gaze."

Then the sky screamed.

Three dragons wheeled above the fleet, their wings stronger now, their flames longer. Fire rained upon purple sails. Ships exploded into ash.

Panic spread across the lagoon. "Dragons!" sailors screamed. "We cannot fight dragons!"

The Titan itself trembled when Leonidas' siege engineers, using captured Qohorik forges, hurled burning projectiles against its ancient stone. Cracks split its legs.

When the statue toppled into the sea with a thunderous roar, Braavos lost its symbol — and its hope.

---

III. The Iron Bank Broken – POV: Banker of Braavos

In the marble halls of the Iron Bank, smoke seeped through shattered windows. Spartan soldiers in bronze stormed the vaults, their shields smashing aside guards.

"We are neutral!" a banker screamed.

Leonidas entered, bloodied spear in hand. His eyes were hard as bronze.

"You funded our enemies. That is not neutral."

The banker trembled. "You cannot—"

Leonidas drove his spear through the table, splitting ledgers in half. "Your gold is ours. Your neutrality is broken. Kneel, or burn."

And the Iron Bank knelt.

---

IV. The Dragon Queen – POV: Daenerys

Daenerys rode through Braavos on horseback, her dragons circling above. Freed slaves and poor folk hailed her as Mhysa, while magisters spat curses behind guarded eyes.

She stopped before the House of Black and White. The silent doors remained shut. The Faceless Men did not emerge. Yet she felt their gaze.

"They will not forget this," she murmured.

Leonidas shrugged. "Let them try."

But even as she rode away, a chill followed her.

---

V. The Volantene Host – POV: Volantene Triarch

Volantis mustered all its strength. The Old Blood filled the ranks, slave legions swelled the numbers, and the Black Walls prepared for siege. Over a hundred thousand men.

The Red Priests marched among them, torches raised. "She is false! He is false! The true flame burns in Volantis!"

But when the Spartan banners appeared on the horizon, when the ground shook beneath bronze and crimson, the priests faltered.

And when the dragons circled above the Black Walls, their fire lighting the night, the people of Volantis knew fear.

---

VI. The Siege of Fire – POV: Leonidas

Leonidas directed the siege with ruthless precision. Spartan ballistae hurled boulders. Dothraki cavalry severed supply lines. Siege towers rolled forward under a hail of arrows.

Then came the dragons.

Daenerys unleashed them upon the Black Walls. Fire licked ancient stone. Slave soldiers fled screaming.

Leonidas bellowed as his phalanx advanced into the breach. "Sparta! Forward!"

Bronze shields pushed, spears stabbed, and the walls of Volantis ran red.

---

VII. The City Burns – POV: Daenerys

The city of Volantis burned. Markets blazed. The Long Bridge collapsed in fire and smoke. The cries of slaves and masters alike echoed across the river.

Daenerys rode through the chaos, her dragons perched upon her shoulders, wings spread.

"To me!" she cried. "To freedom! To fire!"

The slaves rose. They turned upon their masters, throwing chains aside, joining the empire's ranks.

By nightfall, Volantis was no more.

---

VIII. Aftermath – POV: Rakharo

Rakharo looked upon the smoldering ruins, his horse stamping nervously at the smell of death.

"First Braavos," he muttered. "Now Volantis. Who can stand against Khaleesi and her Lion?"

No one answered. Because no one could.

---

IX. The World Reacts

Myr, Lys, and Norvos

Terrified envoys bent the knee without resistance. "We are yours," they declared. "Spare us the fire."

Pentos

Illyrio Mopatis collapsed in his palace, sweating with fear. "Gods save us," he muttered.

Westeros

Ravens reached King's Landing. Dragons had destroyed Braavos. Volantis had burned. The Spartan Empire ruled half of Essos.

Robert Baratheon went pale, silent for once. Ned Stark whispered: "They are coming."

Varys only smiled.

---

X. Closing Scene – The Imperial Coronation

In the great square of Sparta Nova, Daenerys and Leonidas stood upon twin thrones of fire and bronze. Before them knelt envoys from conquered cities, priests of R'hllor, freedmen, and soldiers alike.

The Red Priests called her the living flame. The Spartans hailed Leonidas as the Lion Eternal.

The people roared:

"Fire and Bronze! Fire and Bronze!"

Above them, the three dragons wheeled, their wings vast against the sky.

The Spartan Empire was no longer a dream. It was the greatest power in the known world.

And soon, its gaze would turn west — toward Westeros.
