AURORA'S POV
"You are my master… Daddy." An ancient voice echoed from my lips.
Wait, I didn't say that. It seems my shy wolf only shows when she wants, after making me feel like I never had one all my life.
"That's more like it." He smirked before throwing me to the ground. I flinched.
Ouch.
My eyes darkened against the cold, shiny floor. I had no reflection.
"And for killing my pets, you will have to do all the chores in this castle," he spat. He raised his tattooed hand to his temple and closed his eyes lightly. "Everyone, you're having a day off. Aurora will do all the chores today."
Unbelievable. How dare he do this to me? Where are my powers when I need them? and who keeps rabid wolves as pets? oh wait. Damion does .
He walked off while Sera threw a bucket of water at me. She smirked and wrapped her arm around his.
A slight growl escaped my lips.
Wait, what? Is that me?
*****
After what felt like forever.
I mopped the whole north and west wing, washed, and cooked for hungry lycans. Thank goddess I was used to doing chores. My uncle Dexter's abuse paid off after all. I couldn't wait to see the look on Damion's face when he saw all the chores done and dusted.
It was already night when I decided to finish off the last part of my chores. Everyone was out playing dangerous games of spears and arrows. I wondered if they even knew any friendly and safe games like baseball.
As I walked down the halls, I saw a flashing light through a corner. My senses felt tingly, and my necklace slightly burned against my skin.
I put the mop and the bucket of water on the floor and followed the glowing light.
I hadn't been to this side of the castle. Was I even supposed to be here?
The glowing light shimmered more when I opened the door. There it was.
A dark room with a single table. On the table, there was a sphere.
Not just any sphere…a magical sphere.
I walked towards it. My white-blonde hair slightly glowed as I walked into the room; I felt a magical pull. I was being drawn to this sphere, and I didn't know why.
I instinctively raised my hand and touched it. I yelped in pain as it shot a strong electric shock.
I didn't realize my finger was bleeding. I rubbed my necklace subconsciously with the bleeding finger. I saw the necklace consume the blood, and my finger healed.
Wow. Then hissing sounds echoed through the room, and the sphere began to shake.
It better not break, or else I'm toast.
It revealed a world I could barely recognize anymore…
our world.
A broken kingdom. People being chained and whipped in Velmoria.
"What has Caleb done now!" I gasped.
The sphere showed Samantha chained in a dark room, shadow monsters tormenting her.
It showed Caleb walking down the castle dungeons with Lola. They had an evil smirk on their faces.
My heart twisted.
"I think you have seen enough!" Damion's voice echoed, low and dangerous.
I turned sharply, and Damion's tall frame stood there.
Oh shit.
"You're now snooping around, touching things without my permission?" he spat.
"No I didn't mean to-"
"Silence!" he growled and dragged me out of the dark room.
He threw me by the floor and I still had no reflection. Strands of hair fell on my face and on my shoulders.
I held my hair in disbelief.
it was more silver than blonde.
"You better contain your curiousity and your black magic because you will be serving me for a long time! Now go feed my crocodiles behind the castle." Damion walked in the dark room and closed his door shut!
"Cro- Crocodiles?!"
