"Andrew, I don't think I can go through with our mission anymore."
Andrew's eyes went wide with shock. Even though he understood how brutal this mission was, we couldn't just call it quits now. We'd spent years planning this. Andrew had even left his military career behind because he was so determined to see this through.
"Sir, you've had too much to drink to be making decisions like this right now. Why don't you head to your room and sleep it off? We can discuss this tomorrow," Andrew suggested, but I shook my head firmly.
"You know how I work, Andrew," I told him. "Sure, I'm drunk, but no amount of alcohol can cloud my judgment. If anything, the booze just gives me the courage to say what I really think without holding back."
Andrew was well aware of this fact, naturally.
