"So, when are we signing the contract?" Carlos inquired.
"Right away, Sir," Brady Dante responded eagerly, clearly anxious not to let this deal slip through his fingers. "We've had the contract prepared since our initial meeting. All we require are signatures from you or Mrs. Preston as Crown Publishing representatives, plus Miss Brenda Banks' signature as the author whose work we're adapting."
Brady Dante hurried out of the conference room to contact the Netflix representatives, ensuring they could finalize and execute all necessary paperwork.
During our wait for the Netflix team's return, Carlos's gaze shifted to Brenda Banks. Her cheeks flushed crimson when he winked at her. "Um... Mr. Benjamin..."
"Yes?"
"Have you ever thought about pursuing acting?"
"Various agencies have contacted me repeatedly, but I have zero interest in becoming an actor," Carlos answered. "What makes you ask?"
