Go to the Space Station?"
Frank was quite puzzled; he wasn't a professional astronaut, was he?
"You'll know when the time comes."
Andrew didn't say much. He wanted Frank to catch a 'lucky break'—when the Cosmic Storm arrived, there was a high probability that people in the Space Station would gain Abilities.
The reason he didn't send more people up was, on one hand, the limited capacity of the space shuttle, and on the other hand, Andrew had some thoughts about the Cosmic Storm, which he would elaborate on later.
"Alright then."
Frank didn't ask further. Anyway, his BOSS wouldn't mistreat him. By accumulating more merits, his family could live long lives.
At this moment, in the light screen, military vehicles sped into the Mutant Academy. Howard and Frank both knew that the main act was beginning.
Inside the academy, Dr. Banner was very glad he had come here. The reason was simple: a tube of his blood, which he had sent to Dr. Stern, had been massively replicated by Dr. Stern using special methods, filling the entire room.
To be honest, Dr. Banner's face turned pale when he saw all that blood. Was this not enough to make the world chaotic?
"You gave me too few blood samples, not enough for experiments, so I used a concentration method to replicate it, creating a large number of new samples."
Dr. Stern didn't know Dr. Banner's thoughts. He was very proud of his masterpiece: "Although their concentration isn't high, they are very useful, Mr. Hulk. Studying them could win us a Nobel Prize."
Thinking of the fame and fortune that were about to come, Dr. Stern was incredibly excited. Unfortunately, Dr. Banner poured a bucket of cold water on him: "No, these must all be destroyed. They are too dangerous and cannot be kept."
Dr. Stern was a bit unwilling: "Gamma technology has broad prospects; these things can help us treat hundreds of diseases."
"Those people will only use them to create weapons."
Dr. Banner was arguing with Dr. Stern when a tranquilizer dart hit him in the back. He collapsed, weak and powerless. Betty rushed over to help him but was pushed to the ground by Bronski, who had burst in.
Then, Bronski grabbed Dr. Banner by the shoulders and shouted frantically, "Let him out! Hurry and let him out! I want to see him!"
Betty shouted, "The Hulk is gone! Bruce is just a normal person now!"
"What?"
Bronski, the other enhanced individuals, the arriving Norman, General Ross, and the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents nearby were all dumbfounded. We had our pants down... ahem, we made so many preparations, used so many people, and now you're telling us the Hulk is gone?
Are you messing with us?
Dr. Stern cautiously said, "Mr. Banner no longer has Hulk cells in his body. I can confirm that."
Bronski shouted madly, "I don't care! Let him out, or I'll beat you to death!"
General Ross frowned and glared fiercely at Norman. Is this what you call a success?
Norman was about to speak when he suddenly realized something was wrong and immediately took a step back. The next second, General Ross opened his mouth and spat out a mouthful of blood. He calmly wiped the blood with a handkerchief and had Bronski pulled away.
Dr. Stern looked at General Ross with admiration. He truly lived up to his reputation as a soldier of America, spitting blood without changing his expression, looking as if it were commonplace.
As for General Ross's daughter, Betty, she didn't see General Ross spit blood because her attention was entirely on Dr. Banner.
"I don't care if you're a normal person or not, Bruce Banner, I will give you a proper welcome."
General Ross snorted and had Dr. Banner carried away on a stretcher. Norman followed General Ross, looking displeased.
Bronski and the other five enhanced individuals remained, their eyes filled with unwillingness. At this moment, Bronski thought of something and turned his gaze to Dr. Stern.
At the S.H.I.E.L.D. outpost, Logan said unhappily, "A wasted trip. I wanted to meet that Hulk."
Natasha was about to speak when her phone rang. She answered, and Tony's voice came through: "Natasha, I need help."
"Okay."
After listening to Tony, Natasha nodded and said, "I'll inform the Mutant Academy and have them send people to assist you. However, S.H.I.E.L.D. and the X-Men are only in a cooperative relationship, so afterward, you'll have to repay the Mutant Academy."
Then, Natasha hung up the phone and said, "Something happened with Tony. Tonight is really troublesome."
Logan said, "Something happened to that rich guy? Should we go help, since there's nothing left here?"
"No, my intuition tells me this isn't going to end so easily."
Natasha shook her head: "Of course, I really hope my intuition is wrong. Sigh, when will Coulson be back? I'm really not used to being Commander."
Let's rewind time a bit. Tony Stark had repaired the Mark VI Iron Man Suit and was preparing to meet up with Natasha and the others. Just then, Rhode's call came in.
Tony asked, "Rhode, did you find anything?"
"Tony, I not only saw Ivan Vanko, but I also saw... Ah!"
Rhode let out a scream, and the call abruptly cut off. Tony was startled and quickly called back, only to find that the other party had turned off their phone.
"Damn it, Jarvis, suit up."
Tony cursed and immediately donned the Mark VI. Rhode was helping him investigate something, and he absolutely couldn't let anything happen to him.
Of course, Tony wasn't careless. Before setting off, he called Natasha, requesting S.H.I.E.L.D.'s assistance.
After Natasha agreed, Tony sped to his destination. Soon, he arrived at Hammer Industries' warehouse. Before even getting close, he saw Rhode standing in the square wearing a gray Iron Man Suit—the faceplate wasn't closed, so Tony recognized him.
Tony landed from the sky next to Rhode and anxiously asked, "Rhode, are you alright?"
Seeing Tony appear, Rhode's expression changed, and he quickly shouted, "Tony, run! This is a trap!"
Tony was about to speak when lights in the distance illuminated. Immediately after, two Iron Man Suits and thirty drone Armors appeared around the square, completely surrounding Tony.
Tony's heart sank. He knew there was a trap, but he didn't expect it to be such a big one. Then, he complained, "Is this your taste, or Hammer's taste? If I may be Frank, they're really ugly. If you don't have money to hire a designer, I can pay to hire one for you."
"Tony, your mouth is as venomous as ever."
Obadiah opened his helmet and laughed loudly. It's worth mentioning that his Iron Man Suit was exceptionally large, truly living up to the name Iron Monger.
"Obadiah?"
Tony was astonished. He hadn't expected Obadiah, Ivan Vanko, and Hammer to collude—in reality, Hammer was just a big fool who provided money and effort.
Obadiah shouted, "It's me, Tony! I've come to take back everything that belongs to me!"
"What belongs to you? Your toilet?"
Tony snorted, "Obadiah, Ivan Vanko, do you think I'm afraid of your loser combination?"
