Before we start, I have a question to ask.
Andrew put his arm around Gwen and asked, "Do you brush your fangs normally?"
Both the Vampire and Gwen were stunned. What kind of question was that? No, at this moment, you still have time to ask questions?
"When I turn you into a Vampire, you'll find out whether I brush them or not."
A Vampire lunged at Andrew. The next second, he flew back even faster, knocking down several Vampires behind him. The Vampires were furious and all lunged at Andrew.
Andrew kicked like lightning, too fast to see clearly. The lunging Vampires flew back one after another. In a short time, Andrew was surrounded by a group of fallen Vampires.
Both the Vampire and Gwen were stunned. Gwen exclaimed, "Kung Fu!"
A Vampire pulled out a short gun from his waist, ready to shoot Andrew. What about Kung Fu? Can it be faster than a gun?
How does that saying go? A gun is fast beyond ten meters, and within ten meters, a gun is both accurate and fast.
Andrew put down his umbrella. The next second, a gunshot rang out, but it failed to penetrate the umbrella's surface. Immediately after, Andrew closed the umbrella and used it as a club to strike the Vampire's wrist hard. The Vampire cried out in pain, and the short gun dropped to the ground.
The other Vampires saw this and attacked Andrew again. Andrew held Gwen with one arm and rapidly swung the umbrella with the other. Bang, bang, bang! The Vampires were successively knocked to the ground.
Gwen gazed at the mighty Andrew with a hint of adoration. Her fear vanished, replaced by a profound sense of security.
"This is so exhilarating, it just needs some background music."
Andrew was in a good mood. Why could the umbrella block bullets and not break? Of course, it was because Andrew had enchanted it with magic; otherwise, it would have broken long ago. This wasn't the indestructible umbrella of Wong Fei-hung.
"Good Kung Fu, but unfortunately, you can't kill Vampires like that."
Just then, a cold voice came from not far away. Immediately after, with a bang, a shotgun fired, and a large number of pellets whistled out, piercing through the bodies of several Vampires.
The next second, those Vampires, from skin to flesh, from flesh to bone, their entire bodies turned to dust!
The Vampires were shocked. They turned their heads sharply and saw a cool black man in a leather jacket, with a buzz cut and sunglasses, standing at the entrance with a shotgun.
"It's Blade!"
The Vampires shrieked in alarm, many of them fleeing wildly backward like startled rabbits.
The newcomer was indeed the Vampire hunter, the Daywalker Blade!
While applying a magical mark (for tracking and surveillance) to Blade, Andrew complained, "Wearing sunglasses in the middle of the night, aren't you afraid of running into a wall?"
"No, because walls aren't as hard as I am. I'm the hardest man."
Blade grinned, revealing a mouthful of gleaming white teeth. Then, he quickly fired, and a large number of Vampires turned to dust. Gwen watched, dumbfounded. She asked, "Why do people suddenly turn into ash? This isn't scientific."
"They aren't people, they're Vampires."
Andrew said with a hint of disdain. Why disdain? Because Vampires have no souls.
"No soul means Vampires are magical creatures. If I'm not mistaken, some big shot is using Vampires to collect souls."
A fierce glint flashed in Andrew's eyes. He mentally sentenced the Vampires to death. All the souls on Earth belonged to him; no one else was allowed to take them.
Gwen felt her worldview shattering: "Vampires? There are Vampires in this world?"
"This world is bigger than you think. Let's go. We'll leave this to our Vampire hunter."
Andrew hooked a Vampire with the handle of his umbrella and dragged him out. Keith and the others who had miraculously survived quickly followed. They were covered in blood and looked utterly miserable.
In the warehouse outside the bar, Andrew released the Vampire and said, "Tell me about Vampires. I'm very interested."
"I'm also very interested."
Gwen said. Seeing Andrew look at her, she said somewhat awkwardly, "I just want to conduct some academic research."
"Looks like a female scholar."
Andrew smiled. Keith and the others wanted to leave, but without Andrew, they didn't dare to wander off, so they could only stay put.
The Vampire got up from the ground and growled at Andrew, "You damned humans are just food for us Blood Clan."
Andrew shook his head, swung his umbrella, and broke both of the Vampire's legs. The Vampire screamed in agony on the ground.
Then, Andrew asked the others, "Who has silver items on them? Our Vampire isn't behaving. I need to teach him a lesson."
"Silver items?"
The Vampire's expression changed drastically. He decisively chose to give in, covering his legs and asking resentfully, "What do you want to know?"
Andrew took out his phone, filming as he said, "Everything, from the beginning."
"From the beginning, that's a long story."
The Vampire said, "The Blood Clan originated in Europa. Later, twelve pure-blood families migrated to North America due to the Blood Clan civil war..."
"What does 'pure-blood family' mean?"
Gwen asked. Seeing everyone looking at her, she said somewhat embarrassed, "I'm just curious."
Andrew briefly explained, "Vampires are divided into pure-bloods and half-bloods. Pure-bloods are born Vampires, and half-bloods are humans infected by pure-blood Vampires."
The Vampire shouted, "Not infected, but transformed! The Blood Clan is the noblest race."
"A group of walking dead who fear sunlight, garlic, and silver, dare to call themselves noble?"
Andrew scoffed with disdain. He said impatiently, "Don't waste my time, continue."
The Vampire glared at Andrew hatefully and continued, "The twelve pure-blood families established the Vampire Council in North America. They reached an agreement with humans not to actively attack them, and humans would provide them with fresh blood."
Keith reacted and said angrily, "Humans provide you with fresh blood? No wonder the blood in the blood bank is so expensive. So it was all fed to you Vampires."
"We buy it with money. That blood is not only terrible, but also very expensive."
The Vampire shouted, "The money we earn from working so hard is all taken by you humans. Who is the real Vampire here?"
Everyone was speechless. Human capitalists seemed to be more Vampiric than Vampires. A woman said disappointedly, "You're completely different from the nobles on TV. I used to be so obsessed with the Blood Clan."
"Those pure-bloods are the nobles. They are few in number, possess immense wealth, and some pure-bloods even keep blood slaves, drinking delicious live human blood every day."
The Vampire said with envy, jealousy, and hatred, "However, their good days are over. Our boss, Diken Fes, will lead us to overthrow the Council and turn humans into slaves.
Then, we will have delicious fresh blood to drink every day, and everyone will live like nobles."
Andrew sneered, "Humans aren't as fragile as you imagine. In fact, you are the fragile ones."
Gwen nodded and said, "Exactly. You fear sunlight. A UV lamp can easily eliminate you. As for finding you, it's even simpler: just slightly modify an infrared thermal imager."
