Chapter 13 - Chapter 108

Meditat's body hovers in the air, with a streak of blue energy diagonally released from his suit, originating from where he once stood in front of Indra. His cape dances in the air, and his blue eyes blaze behind the goggles.

His right arm is extended out, wielding the arm cannon, with the blue bolt being fired out from the open lit barrel. In a single moment he had sprung to action, having ignited the final fight.

Below and in front of him is Indra, who's in the air, trying to grab at Meditat. However, due to the lack of energy to propel him, he can't reach anywhere near him, and he already begins descending without even reaching his foot.

His dark blue gauntlet reaches for Meditat's hand as his body illuminates yellow from the vents, and he tries desperately to stop his plan from collapsing in a single instance.

It's too late however, as the blue bolt flies above Indra's purple crown, and it lands in the main red screen of the device planted on the podium.

The Red Virus device sparks with blue electricity, with arcs coming off of the device from being disrupted. The red holograms then all stop projecting, and the device stops sparking before it begins sliding down the podium before falling off the face and hitting the ground with a thud.

Indra's head immediately turns towards the device, and his eyes widen in horror as he sees it lay on the ground, having failed to complete its task, as the machine is still on the pad.

He then turns back to Meditat, and his hands clenched into fists at once. He lets out an enraged roar, his plan having been put down in such a quick motion, as he was fearing that Meditat was planning to do it, but he tried to stall him. However, he became aware of that attempt, and seemed to pass through it.

The two outer capacitors on Indra's suit dims to darkness, and yellow arcs of electricity start to coil around his gauntlets, as it seems he's begun to start summoning energy, having been triggered into full aggression.

Indra then leaps off of the ground, with arcs coming off his gauntlets and striking the ground like bent spider legs before springing him forward. Rage fills his body and mind as his team was defeated for nothing, as the mission was a bust, all because of the boy he once called his best friend.

Indra grabs Meditat by the collar with both of his metal hands, and he spins while holding onto him before he faces the exit hallway. While his initial backup plan would've been to destroy the machine if he wasn't able to acquire it, the rage that burns within him from Meditat causes him to lose sight of that mission.

His burning hatred takes over his mind in the way Meditat let himself fall loose during the elevator, a move that Meditat had anticipated from his fighting words.

Indra's body flies towards the exit door, holding Meditat as he drags him out of the room with massive arcs of yellow electricity coming off of his arms, propelling him forward.

He flies through the door, entering the hallway while staying in flight, his body hovering in the center of the hall while he holds Meditat in front of him. He tightens his grip on Meditat, growling in bitter rage, as he stares into his blazing blue eyes.

In a fit of rage, he then begins thrashing Meditat back and forth, as he slams him against the left wall and holds him against it without stopping. A few moments later he pulls Meditat back in front, and then throws him into the right wall, causing him to groan in pain through gritted teeth.

He alternates between walls while flying down the hallway, continuously slamming Meditat around with his heavy fists. He doesn't stop or even slow down from one side of the hallway all the way down to the other, as he continues slamming him until he passes out of the hallway, to which he throws Meditat's body forwards and to the white floor.

Indra lands on the ground as the electricity coming off him stops momentarily. He stumbles forward as Meditat slides backwards before coming to a halt, groaning as he lays on the ground from the constant hits.

He begins walking forward, approaching Meditat slowly while walking down the lobby. He glances around the room, seeing that all of the hostages had escaped, to which he lets out an irritated groan, as he couldn't do anything with them now.

He then turns his head to the wall to his right, to which he freezes in place to the horrifying sight that befalls him

Along the right wall lies the four bodies of his team, all lined up from left to right with Vrey, Sriya, Ari , and Ara respectively. They all seem to be knocked out due to their lack of movement, and on each of their heads are the silver disk that illuminates green, the same device that he remembers Meditat put on him when he and Sriya fought him in the warehouse.

Indra clenches his first in anger, both at Meditat but also himself for having let his team down. If only he stayed behind, maybe they'd all be safe. If he fought beside them, they'd all be together to reap their reward.

He lowers his head, and lets out a soft sigh. He then quietly promises under his breath, "I'll bring all of you home after this, I promise. I won't leave my brothers behind."

He then turns his attention back to Meditat, and watches as he struggles back to his feet, trying to get back up after the consecutive hits he took. Indra's eyes contract in a burning glare, determined to defeat Meditat and bring his team back to safety.

He remembers when Meditat mentioned in the elevator how on the final exam, it'd be up to Shuraj alone to pass since his friends wouldn't be able to guide him, and how that was truly a metaphor for their later battle. As Indra stares at Meditat in the lobby with his team defeated on the side, he realizes just how correct Meditat was.

It would be up to him at the end of the day to win, and he'd have to use everything he learned from his friends and allies to defeat the one man standing against him.

Indra begins walking again, once more approaching Meditat. He moves faster with every step until he breaks into a sprint, and yellow arcs of electricity begin to come off his whole body as he charges himself up.

He charges at Meditat as Meditat tries to stand up straight, and before he can, Indra pulls his right arm back, summoning electric coils to wrap around his metal fist, and he uppercuts Meditat in the stomach with the imbued power of the energy.

A short flash of yellow light emerges between Indra's fist and Meditat's body, and a boom erupts as Meditat's body flies straight out through the hole where the window used to be, and into the black sky above.

Indra continues to run towards the edge of the lobby, and he then leaps out of the building. His body is surrounded with yellow arcs as he then flies into the air, becoming airborne as his energy carries himself forward to where he wants to go.

A light yellow trail follows Meditat as he flies up in the sky, but gradually slows down as he reaches the peak of his fall. He groans softly, trying to look ahead of himself, to which he sees the man in the purple suit quickly approach him with yellow tendrils of energy coming off his body.

Indra pulls his left arm back as he flies towards Meditat, with yellow electricity coiling around his gauntlets again to further power his strikes. Once he gets close enough, he punches Meditat with his closed left fist, causing another short burst of explosive energy which in turn causes Meditat's body to fly backwards faster from the added force, keeping him unable to move.

Indra boosts towards Meditat again, continuing to fly while moving faster to catch up with his body. As he approaches Meditat for the second time, he pulls his right arm back, and wraps electricity around his right gauntlet again. He then punches Meditat a second time with explosive energy, sending him flying back faster while causing more pain.

Indra then boosts himself far faster than before, concentrating his energy to propel his body as he flies straight past Meditat, and continues flying past him for several more moments as the two enter past the urban center's borders, being surrounded by skyscrapers and busy streets.

Eventually Indra comes to a stop, and he turns to face Meditat, who continues to fly from the punches, now heading in his direction. Yellow electricity passively comes off of Indra's body as he opens his left hand, and grabs his right hand with it.

He then slowly raises both of his hands up while summoning more electricity around both hands and extending his arms out, turning his hands seemingly yellow from the amount of energy he's wrapping around himself.

Once Meditat flies close enough to him, Indra brings his hands down and slams it into Meditat's chest, causing an even greater explosion of energy. The powerful strike causes Meditat's body to change trajectory, as rather than flying backwards he plummets straight to the ground at fast speeds.

Meditat's body falls straight down with a trail of excess yellow energy from the surge of power he felt from the strike. With the electricity having slightly disoriented him along with the power of the punches, his body helplessly crashes into an intersection of the road below, and at the same time a loud roar of thunder helps break the peaceful silence of the night.

Crowds of innocent and relaxed people who were walking down the streets enjoying the night all jump back in shock to the sudden crash, and they turn around and begin sprinting away while screaming in fear from the abrupt chaos.

The whole intersection has a large crater after the heavy impact made to the street, and in the center of the intersection lays Meditat, his arms spread out as he weakly stares at the sky.

Meditat groans in pain, exhausted from the strikes, but he quickly snaps to reality and shakes his head. His eyes widen as he finds himself in the ground, and he notices that far up in the sky is the yellow bolt flying towards him, that being Indra.

Meditat uses both of his arms to boost his body upright, using extra power that throws him off his feet. His eyes contract in a concentrated glare as he then aims each of his hands at different skyscrapers beside the intersection, staring in the direction of the flying bolt. He fires pull links at each skyscraper, and then slingshots his body up, flying back at Indra while boosting himself forward with his boots for greater speed.

Indra flies down towards Meditat, his body surrounded by large yellow arcs of electricity that continue coming off his body and propel him forward, with so many that from afar it seems as though there's only one massive bolt.

He notices Meditat approach him, and the last two capacitors on his body dim down to darkness, letting him access all of the stored energy within his suit.

His eyes dart to a collection of pods that fly on upper lanes, being between him and Meditat. They seem to all be hastily trying to drive away from the fight, however due to the tall skyscrapers they're forced into undesirable traffic. Indra extends his two arms out, and he fires two large streams of energy at the two of the pods in front of him.

Each of the streams strikes a pod, causing yellow arcs to surge around the surface of the pods for a moment.

Indra then closes his hands, and he brings his arms back after creating the link.

As Meditat flies towards Indra, his eyes widen in utter shock as he watches both of the pods he shot at suddenly fly up in his direction, as though being pulled from an invisible force to him, held by the cables that are the electric streams.

He witnesses as Indra then extends his arms back out again, this time having then point in Meditat's direction while he opens his hands. The gesture triggers both of the pods to then fly straight towards Meditat, moving like massive bullets coming straight for him. The electric streams are disconnected as the move is done, and Indra lets the pods fly at Meditat.

Meditat immediately strafes to the left to avoid the first pod which flies right at him, and after it passes him he strafes back more to the right to avoid the second pod that nearly hits where he had moved.

However, his attention is taken off of the fight, as he turns his head to face the two pods, realizing that they were flying straight for the ground with no sign of slowing down. It seems that whatever Indra did to them, he put them on a dangerous course that could lead to their destruction and the destruction of anyone inside.

Meditat instantly stops, halting his movement and relinquishing all the momentum he built up. He then spins around and looks down at both of the pods that fly towards the ground, and he aims each hand at them while both of his gauntlets transform to the plasma launchers.

He fires a tractor beam from each launcher at each of the pods in an effort to stop them, and upon the beams connecting, he tries to pull as hard as he can.

The force of the pods bring Meditat's body down as he's only moved by them rather than him moving them. He grits his teeth and tries to boost his arms up to halt the pods, watching them flying scarily close to the ground.

He clenches his hands into fists and screams through gritted teeth, trying his hardest to stop him, although due to the shock he feels and the confusion he's left by from the move he's never seen before, he's unable to acquire the necessary strength.

Despite his best efforts, both of the pods crash straight into the road below, causing them both to explode with a fiery reaction. In the moment of the explosion, Meditat can even hear a short pained scream that's then immediately cut, signifying that there were victims inside.

His eyes widen, as he thought that he would've been able to stop them with his gauntlets, yet in front of his eyes he watches the fires on the floor, the fires of his failure.

Meditat raises his arms and looks at his plasma launchers, stunned in shock as he questions what he did wrong and why he wasn't able to save them. Was it that he wasn't trying hard enough? Was he letting his mind wander on the wonders of the new abilities? He finds himself thinking about the receptionist desk that was shot at him during his battle with Argus, and how similarly the pods were pushed. There was no arch, indicating that it wasn't thrown, and after seeing Indra pull off such a stunt, it seemed that it had to be Indra who did it

But in his mental process, he failed to save the passengers inside the pods that are now blazing in front of him.

Before he can move, Indra flies straight to him, grabbing the back of his head and continuing to dive straight to the ground. He crashes into the street in front of the fires, slamming Meditat's face hard into the road which causes a small crater to form.

Indra stands above Meditat, his hand gripping the back of his head, as he keeps Meditat's head on the ground. A few sparks of yellow electricity passively surges around his body in rest, as his yellow eyes stare at the black chainmail hood.

Indra boasts, "What did you think? After you ragdolled me and Cratus, I realized that I'd need to get stronger with my abilities since I knew full well back then that eventually one day we'd cross paths again in a fight. And after you humiliated me that badly, I went ahead and worked with Dana, and we figured out that I could use my energy to induce magnetic fields or something, I dunno she was saying a lot of confusing words. Anyways, what matters is I can throw stuff around as long as I can get my energy around it; I guess you're not the only one that knows how to upgrade. Maybe you don't realize it, but I take this life very seriously, as well as my survival, and you're a detriment to that."

As though his normal electric absorption and redistribution abilities weren't enough, allowing him to effectively depower any electrically-run device he desires and to be able to conjure great lethal bolts to fire, it seems Indra has acquired a new skill.

While Meditat had spent the past few months taking time off from being Meditat and then returning by picking up on the investigation, Shuraj never stopped being Indra, and he had been seeming to prepare for another fight, as the first one had scarred him to the point of seeking more strength than what he already had.

As stated by him in his boast, it seems that while Indra didn't necessarily acquire new abilities, for the electricity manipulation he was born with hasn't altered, with the help of Dana he learned a creative way to use such powers.

In harnessing and projecting currents of electricity, it seemed that Indra learned how to induce his own magnetic fields, which allowed him to effectively use his own energy as magnets. This is how he managed to attract and then repel objects while being able to dictate the force of those moves, giving him nearly infinite potential given he has enough energy to fuel himself.

Especially given enough time to practice these abilities for this hypothetical later showdown, Indra has come to a point of mastery with these abilities, and were able to apply them in battle, making them dangerous as they put those that he controls in danger while also being able to utilize them as lethal weapons.

While Meditat has the power to create his own tools, Indra learned how to use his powers to steal tools for himself if simply stealing energy wasn't already enough for him.

Meditat groans in pain, his face planted in the road. He slowly lifts his head up, his eyes settling on the raging fires of the destroyed pods. He weakly lifts his right arm and reaches his hands towards the fires, as though trying to save the people inside, although they're long dead.

He wearily protests, "Wait...those people...there were people in those pods...you...you killed them...Shuraj...you killed those people…."

Indra lets out a disappointed sigh in Meditat's lack of attention to the introduction of his new magnetic abilities, abilities that he spent months perfecting with Dana whenever he had time.

He slams Meditat's head harder into the road in punishment, and he claims, "Whatever, they were in pods and those pods were good tools that I could use against you, even if you dodged them. Whatever happens to them doesn't matter, I mean what, there were probably at most eight of them combined, and it's probably even lower, there's nothing to fuss about."

Meditat groans harder, summoning strength out of the anger and resentment he felt towards Indra's reckless lack of care. He then boosts the whole front of his body, which launches him off of the ground and in the air.

The sudden boost throws Indra off his back, causing him to surround himself with arcs and hover on his own. He flies backwards as he watches Meditat hover in the air, his right arm clenched into a fist as he stares back at him aggressively.

Meditat boosts towards Indra, and he pulls both of his arms back, readying to strike Indra with both fists, as one didn't feel adequate for such a horrendous crime committed in front of him.

He then throws both of his arms forward to attempt the punch, but before he can land the punches, Indra catches both of his fists with his own metal hands. Meditat growls as he tries to drive his arms farther, stuck in an arm wrestle against Indra, who holds both of his hands to prevent them from hitting him.

Indra lets out a light chuckle, and he jokingly asks, "Wait, did that actually make you feel hurt? You're seriously that soft?"

Meditat grits his teeth in frustration at Indra's amusement, however he finds himself unable to move his arms, as he successfully stops him from executing the punches.

Still adamant on striking Indra, Meditat takes the opportunity to then jerk his arms backwards, causing Indra's body to fly towards him. Meditat then drives his forehead straight into Indra's, slamming him as hard as he can in the head. The slam is enough to cause Indra to let go of Meditat, as it disorients him heavily, which Meditat takes advantage of.

Meditat's left shoulder cannon emerges, and the vents quickly charge with a brightening blue glow. He then fires a powerful blast of energy straight at Indra, which shoots his body up in the air, causing him to stumble with yellow arcs flying off his body sporadically.

Indra groans in pain as he comes to a stop, disoriented from the strike, but he snaps back to the fight and shakes his head. He notices Meditat ascend up to the same level as him, and he watches as Meditat's right gauntlet transforms into the armored fist, which seems to also have blue streaks throughout it similar to cracks as though he upgraded it somewhere during the fights with Cratus, Peitho, and Medea.

Judging by the apparent access to power that the upgraded armored fists have with their glowing cracks, he realizes that the depleting energy he's utilizing wouldn't be adequate to fight with. He turns his head to find himself surrounded by many skyscrapers, which are perfect sources.

Indra then raises both of his hands up, leaving them open and loose.

From the two skyscrapers beside Indra, several large yellow arcs of electricity emerge from the silver walls, seeming to be extracted from the buildings. Arcs from both sides crawl towards Indra, and they grab onto his hands before surging around his body and charging him up.

As the continuous stream of arcs charge Indra up, the four capacitors on his body illuminate yellow again, as he seems to refuel his reserves.

He continues charging himself even then, so much so that the two skyscrapers beside him suddenly stop illuminating, leaving them in a dark lifeless silver. Eventually the arcs stop coming, as it seems that Indra successfully siphones the total energy of both of the skyscrapers, leaving them drained with no more glow.

Indra instead is full of energy, as large and long tendrils of yellow electricity come off his body with more sparking and surging around his suit. The arcs that spark off his body seem to be over 20 feet long, as he has more than sufficient energy after having sucked it out of the people around him.

He turns back to face Meditat, now confident with the amount of energy he has to take on anything he could be given. He closes his right hand to a fist, and he manages to coil his gauntlet enough times to the point where it seems to be completely yellow.

Meditat glares back at Indra, and he then aims his left hand at Indra, even though it doesn't seem to have any weapons. While there aren't any weapons, Meditat fires a pull link at Indra's chest, and then jerks his arm back, giving him an immediate boost of speed as he flies straight at Indra.

He then begins boosting with as much of his body as possible, leaving a thick blue trail of energy behind as he pulls his right arm back. His armored fist lights up blue as well as he imbues more energy to it, ready to hit Indra as hard as he can.

Indra flies towards Meditat upon seeing him charge towards him. He speeds up as the massive tendrils of electricity come off him like long spider legs, growing off his body while constantly vanishing and regrowing.

He pulls his right arm back, charging straight for Meditat, ready to deliver the strongest punch that he himself could give.

The two clash, as both of them throw their fists at each other, causing both of them to impact one another. The resulting clash causes a great explosion of energy from their collective powers, which leads to a massive shockwave of blue and yellow electricity that expands out and consumes several blocks of the city.

As the massive wave passes the city, whole skyscrapers and other buildings flicker for a moment, as though the energy momentarily powers those buildings down.

After the wave passes, the buildings light back up again, seeming to be able to enable power once more while the wave continues for several more blocks before dispersing.

The immense exchange of blows causes both Meditat and Indra to be thrown backwards, their bodies spinning in the air as they momentarily lose control over themselves. They fly away from each other as well, being thrown down several blocks.

Meditat is the first to regain control, shaking his head and suspending himself with his suit. He stops and turns to face Indra, who continues to fly backwards. He glares at Indra, knowing that the punch wasn't enough to knock him out yet.

He's indeed correct, as moments later, Indra regains control too, halting himself by summoning more yellow arcs that help him control himself in air. He hovers in the air, with bolts sizzling around his suit and great arcs emerging from his body.

He stares at Meditat for a few moments to try thinking of a plan, contemplating whether to try striking him again or take an alternate move. He turns his head away from Meditat, and towards the direction of the harbor with an idea in mind.

Rather than flying at Meditat head on, Indra takes off towards the harbor, leaving with a collection of yellow bolts that create one large bolt in his trail. He flies down the city, seeming to be leaving Meditat.

Meditat's eyes widen as he watches Indra fly off, and he immediately follows, boosting down the city to follow him. He regresses his right gauntlet and begins pulling himself towards each skyscraper he can to amplify his speed while relying constantly on heavy boosts, as he quickly accelerates towards Indra, not letting him go easily.

The blue comet chases down the yellow lightning bolt, with faint blue streaks being shot out of the comet and towards skyscrapers, pulling it closer to the bolt.

While Indra had a few seconds of a head start, Meditat quickly catches up to him, flying beside him to avoid the trail of arcs, but moving up next to him. He then curves straight at Indra, and he pulls his right arm back as he quickly summons his armored fist.

Right as his comet converges with Indra's yellow bolt, he throws a punch straight into Indra's face, which knocks his head to the side from the unexpected strike.

The blue comet then flies past the bolt, weaving past it as the bolt continues forward, with Indra trying to recover against the strike. Indra shakes his head as he flies forward, and he turns to the blue comet, seeing that Meditat was trying to fight him in the air, to which Indra couldn't not retaliate.

As the two fly parallel to each other down the city, Indra curves his path towards the blue comet, and pulls his right arm back with a closed fist ready to strike.

Right as the bolt converges with Meditat's blue comet, he throws a punch straight into Meditat's face, which knocks his head to the side from the unexpected counter.

As the blue comet and yellow bolt fly down the city, they begin weaving into each other, exchanging strikes to try disorienting the other in the air. From far away, it seems like the two streaks are in a dance, intertwining as they soar through the city.

Closer up however, every intersection leads to an attempted punch, with each interaction developing as Indra begins to start blocking Meditat's punches, and Meditat starts curving below to evade Indra's punches while then weaving around and then returning with his own strike.

The two continue to fight as they fly down the city, approaching the border of the northern region. The blue and yellow streaks separate, flying a couple on their own while trying to judge the other, as they each wait to see if it'd be best to attack or wait to defend.

Indra decides to take the move, not wanting to wait too long and lose the opportunity, and so he curves his bolt into the comet. He throws his fist at Meditat for another attempt to punch him, however Meditat, who long anticipated the move, grabs Indra's right wrist, preventing him from making the throw. He tightens his hold, staring straight at Indra's yellow eyes.

Meditat, holding Indra from striking, takes the chance to counter with his own punch. He throws his armored fist at Indra to beat him to the ground, however his wrist is grabbed with Indra's other hand, preventing him from completing the strike.

The two continue to fly ahead, both grabbing the other's hand, with either of them willing to let go. They stare at each other while trying to free their hand while keeping the other from being liberated, yet neither of them seem to be able to succeed.

With both of them holding onto each other for an extended period of time, their trails merge, resulting in the blue comet blazing with yellow arcs of electricity emerging like long legs. The combination flies forward in a straight line as the two wrestle for control, moving even faster as they try to outmaneuver the other, however they consistently reach equilibrium.

The bolt flies down the city and passes the final skyscraper, flying towards the open body of water that lays ahead. The water appears almost black due to the lack of light, with the only light coming from small specs above the water, as pods leisurely cruise over or under the water in the late night.

Another roar of thunder drums in the sky, with a flash of lightning in the far distance, as the storm seems to be picking up speed now, with more continuous thunderings.

The bolt flies over the water as Meditat and Indra continue to wrestle for control. Indra growls as he tries to fight for freedom, and a sudden idea comes to his head. While letting Meditat grip his wrist, Indra begins recollecting the electricity coming off his body back towards him, and carries it to his fist.

He wraps his hands with coils of electricity, energizing his wrist, which Meditat tries to hold. The energy shocks Meditat's hand, causing him to let go in reaction, jerking his arm back from the sudden and unexpected pain.

Indra, who's now free, continues to grip Meditat's wrist as he then spins his body multiple times, gaining more speed with every spin.

The electric comet starts to spiral as well, turning to a vortex as the equilibrium is lost. Inside the comet, Indra spins one more time before letting go of Meditat, throwing him down into the water below while he hovers above.

Meditat's body flies into the water, crashing with a massive splash that sends ripples in the once still water. His body sinks down in the dark aquatic space, as he groans under his mask, once more disoriented from the throw.

He shakes his head and regains focus before hastily turning around to view his surroundings. His goggles switch to a filter to help him better see under the water, reducing the water's fog and amplifying the light. He notices pods in the far distance driving under the water, along with more on the surface.

He then looks up, and his eyes widen as he sees Indra flying straight towards him, diving into the water without electricity coming off his body anymore.

Indra dives straight into the water with another splash, as he swims down to Meditat. He throws his arm back and tries to punch him, to which Meditat boosts himself underwater to strafe and evade the strike. He then throws his own fist, boosting it forward to fight against the slowness that the water naturally forces on him, which lands and throws Indra backwards.

Meditat boosts as he swings towards Indra, trying to continue his streak of strikes. He throws a wide hook into the right side of Indra's face, which knocks him to the side, to which he throws another wide hook to the left side, shaking him. He then kicks Indra in the stomach, pushing him backwards, with a stream of bubbles rising out of his mask.

Meditat boosts himself to swim around Indra, making a wide arch before getting behind him. He then grabs Indra and puts him in a headlock, holding him down as his blue eyes blaze under the water, and short bursts of bubbles emerge from his mask.

He feels Indra try to fight back, throwing his fists backwards, however Meditat manages to dodge each one simply by moving his head. He then boosts the front of his arms, and his body begins to descend down while holding Indra, as he intentionally tries to sink the both of them.

While Meditat knows that he could breathe well in water, he isn't sure if Indra's suit is made to do the same, and even then the headlock should be enough to choke him out if he maintains it. He descends down the dark waters, as the light that reaches them slowly fades away and they descend into the void.

Indra gives up trying to fight Meditat, and he reaches his hand out desperately for the light as he's dragged under, with Meditat trying to sink them to the floor of the water body. While Indra's mask does let him breathe underwater, he feels his circulation being cut out, as his vision starts to blur.

Meditat approaches the floor, as he tilts his head and sees the ground getting closer. He turns back to Indra, waiting until he'd stop resisting, as he can already feel him loosening up, a clear indication that he was winning. If he could force Indra to pass out from the chokehold, he could win the last fight of the long night.

Finally, maybe the long battle could come to an end. All of the other Babylonians were defeated, and once Indra was taken down and given his own EPD, Meditat could finally let the police have them and he could let the case come to an end.

However, as Meditat feels Indra slowly falling unconscious, his eyes shoot wide open as he notices a flicker of yellow light come off of Indra's extended fingertip, running up his wrist and towards the fingertip.

In that moment, Meditat reminds himself what environment he is in, and what abilities his opponent has. Nonetheless, it was far too late to do anything about it, for he fell for the trap.

Indra's whole purple body releases a wave of yellow electricity, which comes off his body and fires out in various directions. The electricity then spreads throughout the waters, expanding its radius every second while electrocuting the calm waters that reside by the city.

Inside some of the pods underwater, men and women relax in the front seats, listening to calming music as they stare at the beautiful waters they're submerged in. But while in one moment they're relaxed, their pods immediately combust from the overload of energy from the wave released, exploding all of the pods and annihilating all of the passengers.

Even on the surface, the pods that cruise over the water like boats aren't safe, as the yellow wave of energy reaches the top of the waters, and overloads the pods. The pods on the surface immediately explode, releasing flames on top of the water and incinerating everyone resting inside.

All of the pods cruising in the waters explode, and all of the sources of light in the dark water, which move like stars in the distance, all darken at an instant with a flash of orange light signifying their deaths.

Meditat's eyes immediately close from the shock, and his body releases the chokehold, as he's within close proximity of the origin of the wave. His arms loosen up as he alone continues to sink towards the floor of the water body, however Indra swims out of the hold, and begins swimming upwards.

Meditat's body is left alone as Indra's body surges yellow again, and he flies straight up, quickly moving towards the surface of the water while Meditat's cape blankets his slow descent.

Meditat's arms stay out as his body drops on the floor, with sparks of yellow electricity being left from the bolt.

The surface of the water has several ripples running through due to the previous explosions, however it suffers its most intense rupture as a massive splash of water comes from underneath, and a yellow bolt of energy emerges and flies up and away from the water. A roar of thunder rages over the dark clouds, and as the bolt flies out, rain begins to pour on the water, creating small ripples from the raindrops. The rain quickly intensifies from a light drizzle to a heavy shower as another roar follows, for the storm has arrived in full. Flying through the thunderstorm, the yellow bolt leaves the harbor, as Indra just barely manages to escape, hyperventilating after the near-defeat.

In the aquatic floor, Meditat's body lays down, its blue eyes glowing in the dark waters, staring straight up at the sky. He lays in silence as in the distance pods descend down into the water, sinking to the floor after having been destroyed.

Trails are left behind by the falling pods like meteors, which then crash on the floor far from Meditat, the sound of their landing audible from deep rumbles.

The waters are black like the void, the void that sucked Meditat back in.
