When he was a young adult, he won a couple of swordsmanship tournaments, which also led to many parents signing their kids up with his dojo.
Shu Feng looked at Lin Qingzhu, and thought for a few seconds before saying, "Are you short on money?"
Lin Qingzhu smiled embarrassingly and nodded.
Shu Feng chuckled and nodded, understanding her predicament. Although he himself has never lacked money, he can still understand it from the eyes of someone else.
"You can sign up for the dojo and perform by yourself. I'll teach you to the best of my abilities and I won't ask for any of the reward money; and I don't care if you spread the name of my dojo, as I don't plan on accepting any students anymore. All you have to do is win, and I'll be happy." Shu Feng said.
Lin Qingzhu's eyes lit up, and bowed her head.
"Thank you teacher!"
Shu Feng waved his hand, and Lin Qingzhu understood that he was sending her away.
Lin Qingzhu then walked to the door, but turned around and built up the courage to ask, "Teach, why are you not accepting any new students? How are you going to manage the cost of the dojo?"
"Hmm?" Shu Feng looked at her in surprise and smiled.
"Don't worry about that. If you wish to learn, just come to me. You're my last permanent student." Shu Feng said.
Lin Qingzhu nodded and finally exited the dojo.
Seeing her leave, Shu Feng immediately pulled up the system panel and looked at the new world he could travel to right now - Starlight.
I should prepare some food like I thought before. The city is far away, and I have some beef jerky kept in the back. I could just bring that for today, and make preparations for tomorrow. Shu Feng thought.
His classes for earth start at 11am to 2pm, and he has lots of time on his hands, and just so happens to be itching to test out the new world he can enter.
It would be his first time entering a new world, and he was quite excited. Thinking about learning magic or immortal cultivation made his heartbeat.
Would my long lasting life in the world of cultivation transfer over here? Shu Feng thought.
He didn't know, as the system said something about the world's will suppressing beings with power, and he didn't know if that also means those with higher lifespans will have it suppressed as well.
Sigh, there is much I don't know anymore. It feels like I'm back in kindergarten, but I don't have a teacher to teach me anything, which is quite ironic. Shu Feng thought while mocking himself.
He waited a couple of minutes, confirming that no one is coming back to the dojo because they forgot something or needed to ask him a question, and finally clicked on the realm tab and clicked on the third dimensional world - Starlight!
World of Starlight.
In the Kingdom of Sun, the common region.
Chariots and people moved around on a dirt pathed road, and there was endless chatter all around. People had shops set up from place to place, and those who sold food cooked them with fire that appeared on their hands.
Bronze, silver, and sometimes gold was used to trade around, and Shu Feng watched all of this from the side. He has been in this world for a total of thirty minutes, and has learnt a lot of the culture and power system of this world.
Seems like I'm in an immortal cultivation world, but this one is more civil than the ones in the novels I read. Probably because the highest realm in this world is the Nascent Soul Realm, and even Golden Core cultivators barely exist. Shu Feng thought to himself as he walked down the street.
The king of this kingdom is only at the ninth stage of Qi Refinement, but they directly skip the Foundation Realm and become Golden Core cultivators by worshiping a star in the sky. The Kingdom of Sun worships the sun, and the current king wants to break through the Golden Core Realm soon due to the ongoing war with the Moon Kingdom. But there has to be a downside skipping the Foundation Realm. Hell, it's literally called the Foundation Realm!
Perhaps this is why there hasn't been any Nascent Soul Realm cultivators, as they all skip a major realm for quick power, and only royalty can do this, not commoners. The problem with commoners is that building a Foundation either takes up too much time or too much money.
Foundation Realm cultivators are treated the same as the king here, as most Foundation Realm cultivators become the subordinate of the king. So I should try to avoid contact with them before I have some strength myself.
Shu Feng was lost in thought as he mapped out the area.
He was looking for a child who uses a sword, while also cultivating Qi.
Qi was the energy of the planet mixing with your life and spiritual energy. Anyone could cultivate it, and it didn't require any spiritual roots, just a good body and mind can cultivate Qi, so Shu Feng wasn't worried that he couldn't cultivate Qi, but wondered how fast he could cultivate it.
After a few minutes of wondering, Shu Feng finally set his sights on one child.
The child was no more than 15 years old, and had scars all over his knuckles. With the amount of sweat dripping off his forehead, Shu Feng could tell that this child has been practicing today for quite a while.
After observing for a while, Shu Feng activated his teacher mode and instantly entered enlightenment, and jumped up on a wooden fence that was blocking him, and sat on it.
"Straighten up your shoulders." Shu Feng said, startling the kid.
The kid raised his head to meet Shu Feng, but didn't say anything and complied with his words.
Shu Feng watched the kid's actions, and saw that he took his words seriously, and gave him a few more pointers over the next twenty minutes.
The grass that the kid stood on before was now completely torn, and only the cold hard dirt remained.
Shu Feng nodded in satisfaction.
This kid isn't half bad. His talent might be lacking, but he can listen to my guidance quite well, so there shouldn't be any problems teaching him. Thinking this, Shu Feng was about to speak up and ask the kid if he'd like to join his dojo, or now called a Martial Arts Hall here, but saw the kid sit down cross legged and closed his eyes.
Is he cultivating?
Shu Feng's eyes narrowed, and he watched with the Teacher Mode on as the Qi in the air entered his body.
I see, it's like when we breathe in oxygen, but this is doing it from the pours of our skin, and feeding it through our blood stream. So no Dantain? Fine by me. Shu Feng mused, and watched quietly.
