Chapter 3 - At her doorstep

Unable to stay in her house, feeling unsafe, Amber stayed at Diane's place for the rest of the week.

Things in the class were unbalanced because Gavin Green did not attend school after that incident.

Everyone waited for Amber's punishment but the week ran out and she was still attending class. No issue whatsoever. It all seemed normal, except that Gavin wasn't in school.

Professor Ivan reached out to Amber to confirm if she apologized but she told him that she wasn't able to and could not locate him so she was waiting for him to arrive at school.

Amber left her friend's house for school and went to her apartment after the day's lecture. She was starting to think that Gavin Green might have been taken to another school, thus her calmness the following week after that incident.

The elevator stopped at the 14th floor and only two apartments were on that floor.

When she entered the corridor, she realized that everything that belonged to her neighbor was not in the corridor.

She was not so bothered because she hated the couple living in that space. They had made life miserable for her, especially at night.

She entered her apartment and took everything she was wearing off and fell on the bed. She had missed her space and being alone felt more calming at the moment.

The next thing she did was take her phone and text her friends about her arrival and how peaceful she felt, especially when they had no lecture till the next noon.

The doorbell rang.

She paused her typing and looked in the direction of the door. She wondered who that could be. 'Could it be that couple?' She thought. 'Or was I owing a bill?'

The fact that she was already naked and on her bed, made her feel very lazy to stand up to go to the door.

The doorbell began to sound chaotic so she dragged her towel that was hung on the bathroom door, tied it around her body and went to the door camera to see who wanted to damage her doorbell.

After seeing who it was, her heart reacted first. She was shocked to the extent that she began to doubt her eyes so she unlocked the door to confirm if it was really that person that was at her doorstep.

'What the hell,' she thought upon seeing him. Then she was only astonished for a moment.

It was Gavin Green.

"Look," she started the conversation because she wanted him to disappear. "I'm sorry for hitting you the other day. It was the mood and I will never do that again. Be the d*ck you want, who am I to stop you?"

She did not wait for his response. She just stopped leaning on the door frame and aimed to close the door, thinking it was all over and that all he needed was an apology.

"What happened the other day?" Gavin asked, causing her to pause closing the door.

Amber lifted her deep brown gaze at him with an askance expression. She chuckled awkwardly. "I hit you?" she said.

"Oh!"

No, Amber wasn't buying it. It wasn't just a little thing to him. If it was, he would not be absent for that long. What was he planning to do to her?

"That is not why I am here," he was laughing, making Amber frown. His laughter looked so disgusting, she could puke and why the hell was he laughing?

She waited for him to explain why he was at her doorstep by looking at him with one eyebrow raised.

He lifted a box and offered it to her.

'I'm doomed,' she said to herself.

'If Gavin Green, the student with the richest father in Union University, offered me a giftbox after I had hit and punched him, wouldn't it be the end for me?'

However, she was not shaken. She asked him with a straight face. "Why would I be receiving a gift from you?"

"Because your p*ssy drips," he smiled.

Amber grimaced.

'I hate this guy,' with her killer gaze on him, she said to herself.

She even thought of killing him and hiding his body like those girls who get harassed in movies do to guys like him but that isn't her story and she couldn't.

"I am your new neighbor and just thought I should introduce myself to my neighbor but the neighbor turn out to be my class representative, interesting," he leaned in a little. "Free p*ssy for me everyday," he smiled.

"And free d*ck for me everyday," she smirked at him. "I love good d*ck so can you say that your d*ck is that good or do you know how to use him well? Oh my, he could even be tiny but those girls won't tell you because you live in your father's image. I feel sorry for your dad for having a son with a small d*ck," she pouted mockingly at him.

'I despise this girl and she is going to pay for this,' thought Gavin to himself. He glared at her for a while.

"I have forgotten that you are nothing but a poor freak given a scholarship. If you want a good d*ck, then mine isn't what you want because mine is better than the best. Have this, someone who doesn't know her place needs this desperately." He dropped the box on the floor and walked to his doorstep that was just beside Amber's apartment.

After entering his apartment, Amber picked the box up and took it in with her.

She was about to toss it in her trashbin when the thought of checking what it was came to her mind. She was still fuming about what Gavin said to her and why he was her neighbor but curiosity was Amber Washington's weakness.

She opened it and pulled out what was in the box. It was pictures of her at school and every activity she had since the day she hit him.

Yes, she was taken aback by what she saw. The photos ended when she entered her apartment earlier.

"He isn't stalking me," she looked at the door as if it were Gavin. "He is counting my days."
