Chapter 5 - Curse Gavin Green

Amber was silent. Anyone would have wanted to look outside the window if they were in her shoes but she didn't.

She just sat in the passenger seat and closed her eyes. She hated the smell of the car and her environment felt so unsafe to her.

She also did not care how expensive the car was. She just couldn't wait to get to school and be free from Gavin.

Well, she thought wrong.

Even while Gavin was quiet as well, giving her a lift wasn't because he wanted to take her to school.

The journey to school was at most thirty minutes if there was traffic but Amber was already starting to feel like she had been in the car for more than thirty minutes.

So she lifted her head and looked around her. Then at her watch.

She was supposed to be in school by twelve but the time was showing one noon.

"Where are you taking me?" Her voice was finally heard. She realized that their surroundings were different from the school area she was familiar with.

The thing was, even though Amber was born and raised in Florida, she wasn't familiar with every place in that state.

"Where are you taking me?" She asked again in frustration when he refused to answer her.

Gavin didn't plan to explain anything to her, so he remained silent.

Amber got the message after seeing his nonchalant reaction and glared at him to the point of her eyes turning teary.

When she realized that her eyes were teary, she looked away and turned to the window.

'I hate him so much,' the voice in her head sounded sad instead of angry.

"I need to be in school to make some preparations. Everyone needs me and if I don't show up things might be a mess," she didn't even know why she explained to him.

"You don't have to bring me down because you are dumb!" She almost yelled.

Gavin only glanced at her, frowning as if fighting with her and continued driving.

Amber glared at him once more and gave up. She looked away, realizing that her dream to be free was never going to come true.

She closed her eyes again as if falling asleep and stayed that way for a while and then Gavin stopped the car.

Amber didn't move from that position immediately. It was when Gavin climbed out of the car that she opened her eyes and looked around.

It was as if they were on a mountain because the place was surrounded by rocks, or maybe they were by a lake.

She was eager to know more about her surroundings but when she tried to open the door, the door did not open.

That bastard locked her in.

"So he locked me in here without telling me my location and where the f*ck is he?!" She slowly began to feel this hot sensation from inside her stomach. Yes, she was angry, furious.

"I'm going to kill him when I…" she paused.

"Wait," she looked around the car and smiled. "On the bright side, I can enjoy my stay here," she said to herself and dropped her bag on the passenger seat as she moved to the driver's seat.

"It's not everyday someone like me enters a Lamborghini," she smiled, bringing out her phone to realize that there was no internet.

"If I die, it will be in a Lambo!" She yelled and turned the camera in her phone on.

Amber took videos of her touching the steering wheel. It felt so unreal.

She made sure to video the upper case L that was visible around.

"A boss lady," she said while taking a video. "No man, no father, just this beautiful almost black girl with stunning afro hair. Beat that!" She giggled.

After making several videos, she decided to play with the car.

She placed both hands on the steering and acted as if she was really driving.

"Hey! How dare you try to scratch my car?! Don't you see it's a L-A-M-B-O-R-G-H-I-N-I," she bursted into laughter.

Since she couldn't do anything about returning to school on time, she could as well live the moment or her last moment.

She played a mother ordering food for her children in a Lamborghini.

She played a mean lady hitting someone with her car and driving away.

She played many roles and Gavin Green was just out there smoking and hoping she would be sulking and dying in anger.

He imagined how upset she would be finding out that he locked her in and he planned to keep her in there for two hours until she lost her mind.

If only he knew that she was shooting scenes with his super expensive sports car.

After sometime, he took his phone out to see how she was doing in the car only to see her playing music, faking driving and taking videos of herself.

"What the hell!"

Yes, he was mad. Dissatisfied. Angry.

He stormed back to his car and opened the door to the driver's seat.

"What the hell are you doing in my car?!" He roared.

Amber was, of course, taken aback by his sudden appearance and yells.

She pouted and started to cry. "Why?" She said with a crying voice. And then. "Why are you shouting, you bastard?" She shouted back.

She grabbed him by his collar. "You locked me in here and what? You expect me to rot here because…" she laughed.

The fear of Amber seeing his scar made him jerk back immediately. He pulled her out of the car.

"Everything about you just makes me mad. I have never hated someone the way I hate you," with gritted teeth, he said hatefully at her and pushed her to the ground.

Because the ground was hard rock, she had scratches.

Gavin wickedly entered his car and drove away with her bag, leaving Amber stranded in a place she didn't know.

What would you do in this situation?

Well, Amber didn't scream for Gavin to stop and be merciful to her.

She nurtured her wounds by cutting from her shirt to cover it up.

Thankfully, she wasn't defeated completely. She still had her phone with her and all she needed to do was to share her location with her friends to pick her up.

When she kept on trying to share her location and saw that it was not processing, she recalled that there was no internet in the place she was.

"Curse Gavin Green!!" She cried.
