Chapter 2 - Third-Generation

The following day, reports of a bus being hit by a truck spread throughout Cork. Casper Morrow also read the news and saw the photo of injured Seraphina, who was wearing a locket, so he went to the Southern Health Board Hospital to see her. He took permission and went into Seraphina's room. Without saying anything, he grabbed the locket on the table and said, "Three, including me; who is the other one?" Seraphina was shocked to hear that, so she said, "He is Dr Thaddeus, but who are you and how.." interrupting Seraphina Casper Morrow said, "I'm Casper Morrow, a target of this locket like you, but first let me call Dr. Thaddeus.".

As soon as Dr.Thaddeus came, Casper explained, "We are targets of this locket, or maybe I should call us 'Generation three',' but one of us is missing; she must be a female." Thaddeus asked him, "What was going on, and why was he in this?" Without answering, Casper questioned, "How many hours have passed since you touched this locket?". "I guess twenty-two hours, but why?" Thaddeus replied and asked. Again, without answering, Casper asked, "Did you see a dream about your mother or both parents?" Thaddeus and Seraphina were both shocked by his question, and Thaddeus said, "Yes, I had one last night about my mother." "Then how did she die?" Casper asked. "Die? She is alive and healthy. I saw that some woman was holding me and giving me to my mother," Thaddeus replied. "Did that woman wear a purple locket, ring, or earring?" Casper questioned. Thaddeus replied after thinking for a moment, "Yes! The woman in my dream has a ring with a purple diamond." Casper said, "You have only one and a half hours left to meet someone. We have to meet your mother right now. Seraphina must stay here." Thaddeus said, "She is in a room below us in the hospital; let's go then."

They arrived at her room there; her mother was sitting on the couch and cutting some fruits, and Casper immediately asked her, "Ma'am, how did Thaddeus' real mother die?" She asked in shock, "How? I didn't even tell Thaddeus that I was not his real mother. Then, how do you know? Who are you?" Thaddeus was surprised. He begged her, "Tell him, Mom, please, for me." Then his mother said, "For you Thaddeus, Twenty-three years ago On a sunny day, I was walking on a long bridge, but suddenly it started raining and it was so dark, a heavily injured woman holding a small child was running towards me. When I reached her, she gave me that child and asked me to raise him. I was coming from the funeral of my husband, so I took him and raised him to become a doctor. But then she moved away from us, and a truck hit her, throwing her into the river." Thaddeus sobbed and thanked her for everything, holding her hand.

Suddenly, a gas pipe in the ceiling of that floor burst, causing a big concrete block to fall on his mother and become red with blood, crushing her face and body Only her hands were; Thaddeus and Casper also got hit by concrete meanwhile. Seraphina was sleeping on the bed when she fell into the room below with her bed in the basement. The whole room was covered in dust and blood. Seraphina noticed a black shadow again, but this time it was more humanoid, and it was staring at her from the corner of the room. Humanoid hands emerged from the wall behind her and began to choke her. She takes a breather and begins to sweat, rubbing her legs against the bed. She attempted to yell but was unable to do so. She tried until she faded.

Seraphina awoke in Casper's house and found Casper and Thaddeus sitting on a tea table on the balcony, waiting for her to wake up. They saw her awaken, and Casper invited her. She sat on a chair near the table and asked them what had happened to her at the hospital. They responded that when they woke up, they were covered in concrete and dust and that after discovering her unconscious in the basement, Casper carried her to his home.
