Rosella
I had no idea where we were all running to because it felt like the forest was never-ending, but we kept going on as the black bear chased after us like it was directly sent to us to make the hunting more competitive.
My survival instinct was so on point that I couldn't believe that I could run that fast. At some point, I outrun the girls who made the matter worse by screaming, which angers the black bear more.
I wanted to scream at them to stop, but I was thinking about my own survival and barely had time to check anyone, yet the screams persisted, and I knew that if it went on for long, there was no surviving the bear.
We were all going to die.
"Stop screaming,'' I turned and yelled at them, but my words only fell on deaf ears as none of them paid any attention to me.
I clenched my fists tightly and slowed my pacing. "If you continue to scream like idiots, then there is no escaping this place. The bear finds us, and we will die by its hand. So stop…''
