Chapter 4 - new life

Just then Sananya's mother comes and pulls her down from the pavilion and she says angrily"Of course, she did all this for the Shekhawat's money, thinking that since this situation has arisen, why not take advantage of it?"

Adheer's grandmother's eyes narrowed as she demanded, "Beta, who are you? How did you even get here?"

("Your grandson forcibly brought her, Bhudhu Amma 🤦")

Sananya's mother pulled her closer, her voice threatening yet controlled:

"Don't talk like this! If you do, you'll get a slap on both ears, and then you'll speak like a parrot."

(Haath lagege dikha jara šŸ˜)

Tears welled up in kaya's eyes as she closed them in fear, bracing herself for the slap. But before it could land, Adheer's hand shot out, gripping hers with a fierce determination, his eyes burning with anger.

"This is the Laxmi of our house. She is now my wife. From this moment on, do not dare to lay a hand on her again," he declared, pride and protectiveness shining in his gaze.

Whenever Sanaya approached Adheer, confusion written across her face, she asked, "Kya bol rahe ho, Adheer? Yeh ladki… tum nahi jaante, yeh sirf paise ke liye aayi hai yahan."

("What are you saying, Adheer? You don't know this girl; she's only come here for the money.")

Turning sharply toward Kaya, she spat venomously, "Bloody gold digger! You've come here just for the money, haven't you? You're a bloody slut!"

The moment the word slut left her lips, a sharp slap landed across her cheek. The imprint of five fingers seared her skin. Looking up, she realized it was none other than Adheer's mother—Surekha Harashvardan Shekawat.

Her voice cut through the tense air, sharp and unwavering:

"She is no longer just the daughter-in-law of our house—she is our daughter. And outsiders don't have the audacity to raise a finger at the Shekawat family's daughter."

(Aaya swad 😜)

Sananya's mother stepped forward, indignation clear in her voice: "Samadhan ji, what is she saying? How can she accuse this girl of coming here deceitfully?"

Adheer's voice rang out, steady and firm: "She didn't come here on her own. I forcibly brought her here. She is not at fault."

Samrat Shekhawat, Adheer's grandfather, bowed his head slightly in apology: "Whatever happened, happened unknowingly. Now, this girl is the daughter-in-law of our house. Please forgive us."

With that, the Shekhawats departed from the marriage hall, making their way Home
