Inside the royal castle of Weathbrow, murmurs filled every corner of the court room. Most of the voices were loud but carried little meaning, nothing more than idle discussions and whispered opinions. However, among a small group of elderly ministers seated together, the murmurs were quieter yet far more significant.
"The Old Queen is a powerful ruler," one white-bearded minister said, lowering his voice as he glanced around the room. "But we cannot allow her to hold the throne for too long. There is a reason we put 'old' before 'queen' whenever we address her."
The ministers around him nodded in agreement.
"Mm, you're right," another minister replied. "We must hand the throne over to someone young and capable of carrying the weight of the crown. Someone who can give this kingdom its next heir."
"Only the Crown Prince is suitable," another added confidently.
