Chapter 104 - Beat ¹⁰⁴★ Mornin' with u☆

Mornin' with u

Under the same morning light, somewhere else…

Dex ☺️ Han

Han was still asleep beside Dex.

Neither of them had woken up yet.

Han had his head resting on Dex's chest, his arms wrapped around him, sleeping like a clingy little puppy.

Dex's phone, lying under his pillow, began to vibrate.

Still half-asleep, he reached for it.

A message lit up on the screen.

✉️ Jin:

Bring Han to work on time. Don't be late.

And you—come to my office. We have a lot to discuss.

"How the hell does he know I'm with Han?"

"Nothing really escapes him…" he muttered with a faint smile, then placed the phone back under his pillow.

His eyes drifted to Han's beautiful face, resting peacefully against his chest.

"Cute baby…" he whispered with a soft smile, then slowly got ready to get up—so Han wouldn't find him there when he woke up.

He shifted his body slightly and carefully reached for Han's head, trying to place it on the pillow.

But he couldn't manage it.

Han tightened his arms even more around Dex's waist, mumbling incoherently.

"Where are you going…?"

"Mm… leaving without telling me…" he murmured against his lips, his hands moving lazily over Dex's body.

Dex let him do whatever he wanted, savoring every innocent movement in those moments.

After all, it wasn't like those hands wandering over his body were bothering him… not at all.

"Mmm… tell me…"

"Did you enjoy last night?"

"Could you even handle me?" Han asked, his hands sliding higher, fingertips brushing softly against Dex's lips.

Deep down, Dex felt something tighten in his chest as Han's fingers slowly traced his lips.

What is this stubborn kid thinking? Dex wondered, deciding to play along.

"I enjoyed it…"

"But I barely kept up with you."

"You were intense," Dex whispered, a dangerous hint of amusement in his voice.

Han smiled, then, with his eyes still closed, lifted his head slightly, aiming for Dex's lips.

For a moment, Dex almost lost control—he wanted to kiss those soft lips so badly.

But in the very next second, he pulled himself back… and gently pressed a kiss to Han's forehead instead.

"Mmm… why are you kissing my forehead?" he whispered, as his hands paused on Dex's chest.

He explored with his fingers a few times and realized this wasn't a woman's chest.

He opened his eyes instantly, lifting his head to see who was beside him.

When his gaze met Dex's, a flush of shyness hit him immediately.

Han wasn't usually one to feel shy, but in that moment, he couldn't hide the faint blush spreading across his face and ears.

He stared into Dex's eyes, powerless to say a single word.

Dex gave a soft smile, and to Han, it was the most beautiful smile he had ever seen.

His mind drifted, painting images he had never dared to imagine before.

He wanted that smile… more than ever.

A world of vivid colors unfolded in Dex's mind!

It wasn't black and white anymore, like it always was.

Emotions were blooming inside him, and he could feel Han's gaze cutting through him like a weapon.

That look could make Dex forget every rule he had ever built for himself.

It took Han a few moments to pull himself together and look away from Dex's gaze.

He immediately stepped back and asked,

"What are you doing in my room?"

"Your room?"

"Fine… let's just call it your room for today, since you seem to want it so badly," Dex teased, enjoying how flustered Han looked.

Han looked around and realized he wasn't in his own apartment.

He closed his eyes for a few seconds, as if silently saying,

"Oh god… what the hell have I done?

I hope I behaved…"

"Let me guess… you thought you spent the night with a girl in your room, didn't you?" Dex asked, his voice low and serious.

Han opened his eyes and met Dex's gaze.

He was already at a loss for words—his mind couldn't process what was happening.

"Uhh… disappointed I'm here with you and not that girl from last night?" Dex continued, teasing him.

Han still didn't speak.

He felt a bit stunned, and a terrible headache throbbed behind his eyes—but compared to this situation, the pain seemed almost irrelevant.

He didn't even know what was hurting him more.

"Ok, ok, I can see you're completely flustered.

But let me tell you… you look even cuter with your mouth closed."

-"Now, let me explain.

You're here with me because you came willingly.

You started pressing yourself against me… and you didn't pull away," Dex said, his voice calm and steady.

In that moment, Han remembered a few scenes from before—times when he had been drunk and Dex had carried him in his arms.

And later, in the car, when he had been lying on Dex's lap, feeling completely at ease.

His eyes widened, and he nervously chewed his lip as his face began to flush again.

"Oh baby, looks like some memories just came back," Dex teased, pushing him even more.

"What the hell could have happened?

Why can't I remember anything?

Maybe it's better if I ask this… 'tattooed man,'" Han thought, feeling embarrassed.

The embarrassment was eating him up from the inside, and there was no point in avoiding the question he wanted to ask.

So, after taking a deep breath and bracing himself, he decided that whatever had happened, he would stay calm.

He looked Dex in the eyes and asked directly,

"Did we… do something?",,,,

Dex didn't want to bring up standards again, remembering what Han had said when he was drunk—he hated it whenever someone mentioned them.

Still, Dex couldn't resist teasing him, just to see his reaction.

"Something…? Like what?" he asked, looking deep into his eyes.

"Dex—don't drag this out. Just answer," Han said, his voice carrying a hint of embarrassment.

"Hmm… as you can see," Dex replied, "we woke up together, didn't we?

In each other's arms."

"Okay… and?" Han asked, leaning back against the headboard.

"What's that supposed to mean?

You're not the first guy I've woken up with.

It doesn't mean anything. My question was different."

"I thought you were straight… but you like guys too?" Dex asked, surprised.

Han immediately hit him with a pillow.

"I meant Ren and Smart!

But don't change the subject now!"

"Hmmm! Well… it's not exactly the same!

But I'll let you remember for yourself what happened," Dex said, flashing a mischievous smile.

Han knew they hadn't had sex—he would have felt it for sure.

If it had happened, it would have been his first time, and the pain would still be there.

But he didn't know if something else had happened… a touch, a kiss… or maybe even more.

For a moment, he froze, eyes wide in shock.

Could it be… that I was the top and Dex the bottom??

Fuck—if I was the top, there's no way I would've realized… uhh!! he thought, panicking, and started coughing lightly.

Dex noticed it immediately—he could feel the tension radiating off him from his own thoughts.

Still, he smiled softly and handed him a glass of water.

As Han sipped the water, his eyes scanned Dex again, studying him closely.

Hee… Dex? Bottom?

No—no way!

I can't imagine him ever taking that role.

With that look… he can only be a top!

Han's thoughts raced, trying to make sense of it all in a hurry.

"Surely you're tiring your brain trying to remember all our fun moments together," Dex said, and Han's thoughts froze.

"Wanna know just how impatient you were?" he added, teasing him effortlessly.

Dex didn't stop teasing Han.

He had never had this much fun with anyone before!

Teasing baby Han had turned into a really sweet thrill for him.

Damn… he's playing me!

I can tell just from his eyes.

That devilish tattooed guy… does he really think I'll let him get what he wants?

He smirked, a crazy idea sparking in his busy mind, then leaned in close and whispered again:

"Was I good…enough for you?

Did I live up to your standards?"

Han's voice sounded so damn tempting, daring to let those words slip, and Dex couldn't help but be surprised.

What really shocked him, though, was the calm confidence behind the question.

He had expected Han to panic, but it was the opposite.

Han was calmer than ever before.

"Your silence… tells me I wasn't that bad, right?" Han asked again.

Dex lightly touched his own lips and whispered to Han in a teasing, seductive tone:

"Mmm… you didn't get enough of kissing my lips. You were so hungry…"

In that moment, Han felt a wave of relief, thinking it had just been a kiss… nothing more.

He smiled, then whispered,

"Too bad I don't remember that moment… but I'm sure you enjoyed every bit of my lips, didn't you?"

Dex now realized clearly that Han was teasing him, and he decided to push a little further.

His gaze drifted down to Han's hips, and he murmured softly,

"Not bad…

They're perfect."

Han swallowed lightly but quickly regained his composure.

"Really? How many times have we done it?" he asked, leaning a little closer to Dex's lips.

Dex didn't prolong the game any further—he could feel himself getting drawn in.

He reached out and grabbed Han firmly by the jaw.

"You spoiled kid… starting to play with teasing now?"

Han smiled, not breaking eye contact.

"Oh? What did you think? That I wouldn't notice my first time?" he said, giving him a slow, knowing wink.

"Not just spoiled… you're sharp too.

Careful—don't fall for me. I'm warning you."

An ironic smile curved on Han's lips.

"Funny… you should be telling yourself that," he fired back.

Dex's words got stuck in his throat.

He couldn't say another thing.

That spoiled kid… had turned into a real temptation for him.

Han gently pushed Dex's hand away from his jay , smiling at the whole situation.

He moved to get out of bed, but dizziness hit him, and he collapsed right back onto Dex's body.

Dex caught him in his arms, instantly concerned.

"Han, are you okay?

How do you feel? What hurts?"

"My head hurts…" he muttered, pressing his hands against it, gripping tightly.

"Alright, alright—lie down. Just relax for a bit," Dex said.

"You drank so much last night, it'd be weird if nothing hurt today."

"I'll go get you something for the headache and be right back. Don't move," he warned.

Han settled back into the bed, smiling without even knowing why.

He pulled the blanket over his head, still grinning like a complete fool.

Dex slipped into the room quietly, and the sight of Han like that made him feel strangely warm.

He shook his head with a soft smile, then stepped closer, gently touching him through the blanket as he leaned in to whisper—

"Was that headache just an excuse… so you could end up in my arms?"

Han immediately wiped the smile off his face that had been hiding under the blanket and pulled his head out.

"Are you crazy?

Do you even realize how many girls are out there waiting to hug me? Or not?

If you had left me alone last night… I'd be cuddling with one of them right now, not stuck here staring at you."

He smirked slightly.

"Ah… only if this world belonged to just you and me… then yeah, I wouldn't have a choice. I might even consider it…

But with a whole world full of people? Yeah… keep dreaming."

Dex stayed there, holding the pill in his hand, staring at Han, his mind overloaded from everything Han had just said.

"Damn… how am I letting myself listen to all this at once?" he thought, as he handed the pill to Han, placing it on his lips.

Han snatched it from his hand instantly.

"Give it here, I'll take it myself. My hands are still working—don't you see?"

"If you're blind, I'll tell Jin to take you along for a checkup… with Smart too."

Ah I see -Dex said, smirking.

"But honestly… your mouth works the hardest of all," he added, offering him the glass of water.

Han frowned, thinking to himself.

"Was that… like, 'Han, shut your damn mouth'?"

God… this man is going to turn me into a killer!!

Why didn't you wake me up last night so I could've smothered him with a pillow?

Wait… or maybe you'd rather smother him with something else?"

A deep voice suddenly pierced through his thoughts.

What the hell is happening to me?

That was another thought—but it accidentally slipped out of his mouth.

And Dex was right there to hear it.

He smiled and looked him in the eyes.

"Hmm… care to share your thoughts with me?

I'd like to know what that little brain of yours is cooking.

Am I the main character in there?"

"The main character my as…" Han said immediately, before finishing the sentence.

But when he saw Dex's gaze grow fierce, he quickly looked away and said,

"I took the pill. Now, let's get ready. I have to go to work."

Dex took a deep breath.

"I swear, if you didn't have a headache, I'd give you a proper lesson for that behavior!

Now, sit still for a bit while I make breakfast—and then I'll take you to work."

Han looked him in the eyes and just nodded.

Not another word.

Dex was eight years older, and Han should've respected that and been careful with his words—but sometimes, Han's mouth spoke faster than his brain.

*

Minutes passed, and Han just couldn't stay lying down.

He got up and started pacing around Dex's massive apartment.

Posters were everywhere on the walls.

One shelf was filled with trophies from awards Dex had won.

Han studied them closely—he knew every single one.

No wonder he was such a fan.

He kept walking and headed toward a door.

He opened it and froze, completely stunned by what he saw.

Inside was Dex's studio—a producer and rapper's paradise.

Pianos, guitars, computers, mixing boards, microphones, headphones…

Everywhere, the tools of music creation were perfectly organized.

It was more than a room—it was where Dex brought his music to life.

Han started lightly touching the instruments, feeling breathless in that moment.

His eyes didn't know which one to look at first.

Dex stood by the door, silently watching every move Han made.

He could feel that Han was completely overtaken by joy—

his body spoke for him.

After a few minutes, Dex stepped closer.

"How does my studio feel to you?

Han turned to him and looked into his eyes—

eyes that were now shining with wonder.

"It feels… amazing!"

Dex smiled and asked again,

"So… can you play any of these?"

"Hmm… just a little piano," Han admitted, shrugging.

"Then go ahead and play something," Dex said calmly.

Han felt a little flustered.

Ah no no!

Dex guided him to the piano.

"Go on," he said, smiling gently.

It had been a long time since Han had last played the piano.

His emotions were already taking over, seeping into his hands.

The moment he placed them on the keys, they started to tremble.

Dex noticed it and immediately moved behind him, placing his hands gently over Han's.

He was trying to ease the overwhelming emotions that had taken over him.

But in that moment, Han's hands began to tremble even more.

It felt like electricity was running through his body.

He simply couldn't stop that feeling.

"Try to relax… it's just the two of us.

Take a deep breath… fill your lungs," Dex whispered near his ear.

Han pulled himself together and immediately started playing the piano.

Soft, beautiful notes filled the room—ones that Dex liked right away.

As soon as he noticed Han had relaxed, Dex grabbed the microphone.

Moving with the rhythm of the piano, he began to freestyle.

In that moment, their eyes met— and they both smiled, feeling a warm, effortless vibe surrounding them.

It was the first time they weren't arguing with each other, and the atmosphere felt so warm—almost comforting, like home.

"Han… I didn't know you were this good."

"Hmm, I'm not just good at this," Han said, winking at him.

Dex looked at him, surprised, clearly a little confused.

"What?" he asked.

"I'm good at charming girls too," Han added with a laugh.

Dex smiled with a hint of irony, then took his hand and led him toward the table for breakfast.

Han looked at the table, almost stunned by all the delicious food, beautifully arranged.

"Wow… you made all of this?"

Dex just shook his head and sat him down on the chair.

"Sit. Enough talking—it's time to eat."

"Can I come here every day?" Han asked suddenly, blinking his eyes innocently.

"Start eating. I don't want you leaving anything on your plate," Dex said, his voice turning firm.

Han made a cute, slightly pouty face.

Dex glanced at him from the corner of his eye, shaking his head.

"Hey… cute boy,"Tell me—do you like music?"

Han rolled his eyes.

"Dex, Smart calling me 'baby' is already enough. I don't need you doing it too, okay?"

"But I'm calling you something a little different…

'cute baby'—see? That's not the same," Dex replied calmly.

"'Spoiled kid,' 'cute baby,' 'baby,' 'stubborn kid…

Got any more names you wanna stick on me?" -Han's tone turned cold.

"Maybe I'll come up with another name later… you never know," Dex said with a light laugh.

"Alright, now tell me— do you like music?

Where did you learn to play the piano?"

"Yeah, I like it," Han replied.

"I learned with some friends," he added shortly, hiding the fact that it was actually Ren who had taught him.

Dex already knew that Han wanted to become a DJ.

His drunken words from last night had told him everything.

"What is it that you want the most in life?" Dex asked again, wanting him to say it out loud.

Han looked into his eyes, not thinking there was anything he needed to hide.

"A DJ," he said softly.

Dex smiled when he heard it.

Han was telling him the truth.

Dex rested both his elbows on the table, then asked calmly,

"Do you want me to teach you?"

Han lifted his head, surprised, and looked straight into his eyes.

The words got stuck in his throat.

His thoughts froze.

"I'm waiting for your answer," Dex said again.

Han was drowning in happiness, but his stubbornness wouldn't let him give in so easily.

"Mm… you're very busy.

I don't want to take up your time," Han said, even though he was dying to say yes.

Dex leaned in a little closer and whispered,

"Is that the reason… or, are you afraid you might catch feelings for me?"

At that moment, Han dropped his fork.

A tightness built up in his chest, making it hard to breathe.

"Okay… calm down. I don't want you choking," Dex said, smiling at Han's reaction.

Wow… he's really full of himself.

Does he think everyone's dying for him?

How could he even imagine… that I might catch feelings for him?

Ugh… he must be crazy.

Han stayed silent for a moment, then smiled confidently.

"Alright then… I can't wait for you to teach me."

Cute baby really felt the pressure!

Why is he so cheeky when he acts all tough? Dex thought, continuing his breakfast with a smirk.

What's with that strange little smile of yours?

Are you plotting something devilish for me?

Maybe setting a trap… or… trying to seduce me? Han asked, looking him straight in the eyes.

If that's your plan… don't waste your time.

You know what I like—heh, Han continued.

"Keep eating! Stop spouting nonsense, or I'll turn your thoughts into reality… and really seduce you," Dex said, flashing that devilish smile again.

Han immediately lowered his eyes and focused on eating in silence.

He didn't say another word until breakfast was finished.

Breakfast was over, and they both got ready to head downstairs.

The moment Han opened the door, his expression changed instantly.

Standing before him was a man— a massive, towering figure, almost like a giant,

with a fierce, intimidating look on his face.

"Shit… this guy actually scares me," Han muttered through his teeth.

Then, trying to push past his nerves, he asked,

"Who the hell are you, standing behind the door like a guard?

And… where the hell did you come from?"

"Han—what's wrong?" Dex called from the bedroom.

"Nothing… don't worry," Han replied.

"I'm here… just keep getting ready."

"Are you some kind of Dex fan, sleeping here on the stairs?

Are you crazy or what?

Get out, right now, or else… I won't be responsible for what I do," Han threatened.

The guy in front of him looked Han up and down, from head to toe, with a fierce glare that made Han swallow nervously.

At that moment, Dex stepped forward.

"Oh, you've arrived," he said immediately to the guy standing in the doorway.

Han looked at him, surprised.

"Do you know him? Who is he?"

"My bodyguard," Dex replied without hesitation.

Han gave an awkward smile and then raised his hand to the bodyguard as if to greet him.

"Where did you even find a bodyguard like an elephant?" he whispered lightly to Dex.

Dex smiled softly, then closed the door and headed toward the elevator.

"Why are you keeping me around like a bodyguard when you already have an ugly one of your own?" Han asked again.

"Because you're… how should I put it… a real treat for me," Dex added with a sly smile.

"Now come on, let's go—enough questions."

Fuck… a treat, huh?

God, seriously… stop me before I turn into a killer, Han thought, heading toward a red sports car.

"Yep… you like it?" Dex asked, opening the car door.

"Was that even a question?"

"Of course I like it! It's so cool," he said, eyes glued to the car as it gleamed in the sunlight.

"Okay, hop in now, or you'll be late for work," Dex said, sliding in and buckling up.

"And the giant?" Han asked before getting in.

"You don't plan on letting him get in this beauty, right? He'd probably flatten the tires," he added with a grin.

Dex couldn't hold back a laugh.

"Don't worry. The giant will follow in another car. Now come on, we're already running late."

Han buckled up, and they drove off—Deep style.
