Chapter 2 - Ch 2. The Choice of Destiny

There was no pain.

Just… silence.

Tony opened his eyes slowly, just to find himself surrounded by an endless sky filled with stars — glowing softly, whispering like distant voices.

He pinched himself three times, thinking it was a dream, and checked his right pocket. His Beyblade wasn't there!.

Suddenly, a man dressed in white with wings appeared and said,

"My child, I'm sorry for your loss. It was never meant to happen to you. In your next life, we will make sure you live a peaceful one."

Tony, without any hesitation, asked—

"Who are you, by the way? How do you know me? I can't believe I'm lucid dreaming… but I can't do anything."

"I'm a messenger of the God, you can call me Angel. I'm here to re-destine your life for a new start." The Angel said.

The angel explained to Tony about his previous life — how he had died instantly in a car accident. The driver was drunk and involved in multiple affairs, despite having a wife and two children. He was a disgrace to society; even his wife wished he would die sooner.

It was supposed to be the driver's destiny to die that day — but he survived. Now, he will live until he's old.

"So… what gives? What about me now?" Tony asked, wearing a confused expression.

The angel had already spoken with God about rebirthing him into an ancient era of human civilization — a time where life was simple, and peace came easily. But before that, the angel asked Tony what he truly wanted.

"A life where Beyblade means everything — a world where Bey's , hold the power to change fate itself," Tony said with excitement in his eyes.

"Hmm… actually, there is a universe where Beyblade holds real power — but it's nothing like the fantasy you built in your mind from watching those TV shows, in your past life" The Angel said firmly, his face marked with seriousness.

Tony had always dreamed of becoming a true Blader, and wished for a world where Beyblade mattered — not just as a game, but as a profession and a way of life.

The Angel's gaze dropped for a moment, his wings folding slightly as if weighed down by sorrow. In his eyes shimmered the burden of knowing a past too heavy for someone so young.

In his previous life, Tony was destined to become a great businessman — one of the top billionaires — but fate had other plans.

"Alright, I've decided," Tony said, his expression serious. "I want to be reborn in this new world — a world where Beyblades are the top priority, and even a profession."

"Whoa, whoa… not so fast, my child. First, you have to sign this contract — since you're choosing to enter this new world of your own free will," the Angel said.

"And why would I do that?…" Tony replied, narrowing his eyes.

"Because I don't want any trouble from the higher authorities — especially from God. They don't take it lightly when one of their children suffers in another life," the Angel responded firmly.

Tony took his time, carefully reading every word of the contract. After a moment of thought, he finally decided to sign it. But just before handing it over to the Angel, he took a deep breath and asked:

"Can you bless me with some kind of power? Or maybe give me a legendary Beyblade — something that will help me on my journey?" Tony asked with a hopeful smile.

Although the Angel had the power to grant Tony's wishes, he politely declined and took the contract. Just as he was about to confirm it and begin Tony's rebirth into the new world, the Angel paused and turned back.

"Look, my child," he said calmly, "I will bless you with a special ability — a system that allows you to inspect other Bladers' Beyblade specifications and types, but there is one condition, you can't inspect your bey and it has a 24 hour cooldown"

"You accept this condition?" the Angel asked, his eyes steady.

Tony gave a small smile and said, "Yeah… I'm ready."

Without wasting any time, the Angel carried Tony to a place filled with vibrant, softly glowing stars. In the center, a brilliant, multicolored ray of light shimmered — known as the Bifrost.

Tony stepped into a cage-like vessel designed for his rebirth. As the energy began to rise, he looked back, smiled, and waved at the Angel.

"Thank you… for your kindness."

The Angel smiled warmly… but suddenly paused. He had forgotten to mention something important.

"Tony! The system will only activate once you awaken your Beyblade!" he shouted.

"Wait… what?! What does awaken mean?" Tony called back, panic creeping into his voice — but the Bifrost light had already begun to engulf him.

Light swallowed his sight, and in the silence that followed, a new life began — in a world where Beyblade was more than a sport…

it was destiny.
