Chapter 4 - Wishes

Shiva , "now , mortal , state your first wish"

Arjun hesitated, thinking of his short and fragile life. Then and idea struck him. "i wish ... to be reborn in a world where i can achieve true strength, wisdom, and influence , let me be reborn as Karna, a warrior destined for greatness but despised by fate itself. As i find my self similar to him i may not be abled to change my own fate but i wish to change his fate since i want to know what will happen if i were on his shoes."

shiva nodded, impressed, " A bold choice, i shall grant this wish but your memories will carry over partially, just enough to guide you, but not enough to disrupt destiny entirely. you shall have an edge surely but the fact will test you."

Arjuns second wish came naturally. " I wish... for a system, a way to grow, to learn, and to obtain strength faster and far more superior than any other being ever could"

shiva's eyes glimmered" so be it, your system will track your growth, reward your efforts, and enhance your abilities. But remember, the system does not absolve responsibility. You must act, struggle, and earn your power."

Arjun felt warmth spread through out his body spreading slowly and a subtle tingling, a sense that the universe itself was acknowledging his existence.

shiva paused and asked arjun for his third wish. Arjun said with a scared voice " oh lord shiva i don't know what is in the future and i hope to save this wish and reserve it for a time of utmost need, when my life and fate is hanging by a thread."

shiva lips cured in approval, " Good, a wish decision indeed you may call my name and i shall appear to grant your final wish and with that your current mortal life comes to an end here but your journey as Karna begins."

Arjun finds himself being pulled into a vortex of light. Celestial winds whipped around him.

"fear not" shiva voice as if echoing through time itself "this is no pain but only transformation"

The boy felt himself dissolve, reforming within the womb of Karna's mother celestial powers enveloped him. his essence merging with the mortal infant, carrying the strength of his soul and the system granted by shiva.

Unseen, Parvati(shiva's wife) gazes at the boy's soul and feels deep pity "He carried pain in one life and yet gave everything away selflessly. If he is to suffer again as Karna, let me soften that fate. "She whispers into the soul "Child, I grant you Saundarya-Anugraha the Blessing of Divine Beauty. You will be the most radiant among mortals and devas alike." She hides this from Shiva, thinking: "Let this be my secret gift."
