I arrived above Metropolis after 10 minutes of flying in my ship.
I looked for a place to land my ship and keep it hidden but that turned out to be harder then I thought.
So I flew my ship out of Metropolis and landed it in a place with a lot of trees covering the area.
I then changed from my kryptonian robes and wore the human clothes that I had bought.
Just a light blue collarless T-shirt and black pants with a pocket at either sides.
Turns out the shop attendant had also packet for me a pair of canvas shoes so I wore them.
I walked out of my ship and left it in camouflage mode.
I then use my superspeed powers to run to Metropolis.
Metropolis is a bustling city filled with a lot of people who were carrying out their day to day activities.
Compared to Metropolis, the previous town is like a village.
I walk around Metropolis taking in the surrounding atmosphere for about 2 hours then eventually decide to go to the Daily Planet.
The Daily Planet is a newspaper company where Kal-El or Clark Kent better know as Superman works as a newspaper reporter.
The most notable thing about The Daily Planet building is the big golden like globe above it with the words 'The Daily Planet'.
I stare at the building for a couple of minutes then decide to proceed with heading to the building the building.
As I am heading to the Daily Planet, I hear a vehicle's wheels drifting on the road and several gun shoots.
I turn and look in the direction from which I heard the sound from and I see robbers in a van driving away at a terrible speed while shooting behind.
Behind the van were 3 police cars giving chase to the robbers.
Oh how do I know that they are robbers, it's because money was falling out of the van as they were driving away from the police cars.
What a waste.
Anyway I decide to follow the van filled with robbers secretly using my superspeed.
After about 2 minutes of me stalking the van filled with robbers, I hear something splitting the air with a sharp sound approaching fast.
I turn and a red and blue blur flies by and land in front of the van's path.
The van filled with robbers comes to an abrupt stop as a masculine figure in red and blue adorned with a red cape on his back holds the van from it's front using on hand.
The people around who wear running away from this incident stopped and started cheering.
The masculine figure in a red and blue suit adorned with a red cape on his back had a big S-symbol on his chest.
At this point anyone can know that the masculine figure standing over there is Superman.
Superman lifted the van filled with robbers in the air.
The robbers knowing that the van was going no where all decided to jump out of the van.
They quickly landed on the ground and all ran in different directions in order to capture hostages.
The robbers knew that Superman would take a longer time to catch them all if they all ran in different directions.
And if one of them actually managed to capture a citizen hostage, they would then use the hostage as a bargaining chip to ensure their safe escape.
Superman used superspeed and safely landed the van.
I also immediately used my superspeed powers to observe the situation but I pretended to be moving at normal human speed.
I saw Superman knock out the robbers one by one in superspeed and then put them in one spot next to where the vehicle was.
Unfortunately or fortunately, one of the robbers ran towards me and managed to capture me hostage.
Obviously I was pretending to be captured.
The robber grabbed me and threatened Superman to shoot me in the head if he came any closer.
Robber spoke "Come any closer and I wi-"
As the robber was still speaking, Superman used superspeed and gently but effectively pinned him down.
News reporters of different companies then appeared and started taking photographs while some went to interview Superman.
Superman responded to some of the reporters one of them obviously being Louis Lane.
Superman's lover, no surprises there.
Superman then turned to me with a warm smile and asked me with a smooth but manly voice "Are you okay?"
I looked him in the eye and responded "Yes I am."
Superman then said "That's good to hear." as hear raffled my hair.
He had black hair and blue irises like mine with a nice chisel jawline.
He then turned to fly away but I held by the hand and said "I need to talk with yow privately, Kal-El."
He froze for a moment and looked at me with genuine curiosity.
He then replied in a somewhat serious tone "Ok, meet me at the park."
He had spoken in a low voice so I was the only one who heard him speak.
After that slight drama, Superman flew away from the scene.
I walked normally to the park that Superman had told me to meet him at.
It was a normal park with some metallic bar fence and covered with green grass everywhere and occasionally some trees.
I walked into the park without any challenges and there I saw Superman or you can now say Clark Kent sited on a bench.
The reason I say Clark Kent is because he is not in his super suit but in some grey business suit with a tie on his neck.
He looked like a professional business man if I say so myself.
Anyway I walked to him and sat down on the same bench that he was sited on.
He looked at me after I had sat down and immediately started asking me questions.
"Who are you and how do you know that name?"
I too looked back at him and replied "My name is Tal-El and am your cousin."
He looked shocked and asked "How?"
"I thought Krypton exploded and I was the last remaining survivor?"
I replied "I managed to escape Krypton before it exploded to nothing more than cosmic dust."
"So technically am older than you."
He looked me up and down then got lost in thought.
After a few minutes of thinking, he asked "Did you manage to escape from Krypton with any other Kryptonians?"
I replied "Unfortunately, I did not manage to escape from Krypton with any other Kryptonians?"
He looked a bit sad at my response but he soon got over it and asked me how I arrived on Earth.
I told him about my story from the time that Krypton exploded to being captured then escaping and arriving on Earth.
He looked at me with sadness and said "Am sorry I was not their for you."
I replied with a sigh "It's okay, you did not even know that I existed before this incident."
Clark contemplated for a moment then said "How about I help you fit in on Earth?"
I looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
He continued "It's the least i can do do for you."
I could not help but feel happy about what Clark had said because I now had technically have Superman as my backer.
