Shao Mingzhu stretched out his right hand and started to manipulate a construct of the world he lived on.
His world was simply called Earth, just like his previous life, but it was three times bigger. The other eight worlds were named after the nine elements; Earth, Fire, Water, Wind, Lightning, Light, Darkness, Metal, and Life.
The closest planet to Earth was Life, and is the next planet on his list to check out and spread his Heavenly way.
Nine planets, nine Tiers. Could my Tier in runes correlate to the planets I can view? This would make sense as I gain more power by leveling up. Seems like I should use my green gold card on Monday and re-shape my body.
Shao Mingzhu thought to himself as he checked out Earth. As he was checking out the Earth, he went and looked at his sister, and saw her still in the mall with Ning Shushu.
But something surprised Shao Mingzhu, causing his hand to stop mid air.
Huh, Ning Shushu's body is resonating with this place? To pull in ordinary people will cost me great power, and they can't stay for long. This is what my instincts tell me, but Ning Shushu seems to be an exception to this rule. Could it have something to do with the golden runes above her head?
Shao Mingzhu didn't pull her in directly into this place, and planned on waiting until she goes home and begins her training.
After all, it would be strange if she suddenly passed out walking around in the Jade Cave Mansion with his sister.
Are there any other people that could resonate with my Heavenly Palace?
Shao Mingzhu immediately started to check the other side of the world, and found one person who matched the same as Ning Shushu.
So two people? That's not bad starting out. Unlike Ning Shushu, he is a boy and cultivates the path of formations. There could be more in the future, but how long is the question.
Shao Mingzhu observed him for a while before closing the replicated world in front of him.
He sat on the chair and pondered for a while. Some questions he had early cleared up, but what to do in the future became his biggest problem.
Who would've thought that his ancestral meditation technique actually involves him becoming the Heavens. His transmigration probably has something to do with this, and the universe he lived in before definitely had a Heaven, so it had no choice but to send him to a universe void of Heaven.
Hey gramps, you could've given me a heads up! Now I have to plan everything out as they unfold. Shao Mingzhu complained, but didn't actually blame him.
Since his gramps and parents were still in the world, they probably didn't know that it would turn them into a living Heaven, and if they did, they probably wouldn't have taught him.
After all, who would want to teach their child to literally die and be transmigrated to another universe?
At least he didn't think his parents had such hearts, and are probably missing him right now.
Sigh, I wonder how my parents are doing right now.
Meanwhile Shao Mingzhu thought about his parents, a man not too long ago looked up at the sky with a bit of confusion on his face, and brushed off the dust covering his forehead.
"Wang Lin, what are you staring at the sky for? The formation on the ground won't set themselves up by themselves!" A loud voice sounded through the herd of people.
"Yes, commander!" Wang Lin responded, and began forming formations on the ground.
Was it an illusion? No! I definitely felt something peaking at me.
Wang Lin's face turned solemn, but didn't say anything. Reporting misinformation on the battlefield could get him executed, and his reason to report this information was intuition. No one would take a Tier Two Formation Master's intuition seriously.
Wang Lin was the man Shao Mingzhu eyed for a while in his Heavenly Palace.
If Shao Mingzhu knew that Wang Lin knew that he was being spied on, he'd be surprised and wonder how cautious one would have to be to sense his gaze in the Heavenly Palace.
Wang Lin was currently in the Maple Empire and was fighting against the Leaf Empire. He was drafted into the army as a Tier Two Formation master and created traps on the battlefield for when the Leaf Empire attacked.
Such a job was frequently fraught with dangers, causing him to be on high alert for almost two years now. This doesn't help that when he was a child, he was raised in a very dark environment.
Four more formations to go and the job is done. Wang Lin thought, and just as he wrapped up his current formation, a voice echoed throughout the field.
"Enemy attack!"
Wang Lin's hair stood on end hearing this shout and hurried to reverse his formation into a defensive one. With a couple swift movements with his brush drenched with his own Qi, the formation changed from a water trap formation, to a water defense formation, creating a bubble of water around him.
Formations are all about the structure and Qi of the cultivator, and a skilled one can create various formations in an instant.
Wang Lin's decision paid off extremely fast, as in the next couple of breaths, a massive sword Qi came crashing down at his water formation, destroying it.
Although it was destroyed, Wang Lin wasn't hurt whatsoever, and took this opportunity to retreat.
Damn it? Was it them I sensed? No, the gaze I felt was without malice.
Wang Lin quickly calmed himself down and used his Qi to observe his surroundings. He even linked himself to other formations he created on the field, giving him some extra pair of eyes.
This isn't a simple attack, they plan on whipping all of us out.
Wang Lin's heart was full of dread. Typically they'd go eye for eye with their attacks, but this has turned into a full push, planning on not only whipping out them, but the ones helping their retreat as well.
Did something happen to the empire?
Wang Lin wasn't sure, but no longer had any hope of relying on the support of the empire.
Sigh, looks like my back up plan has to be used.
Without a second thought, the pen in Wang Lin's left hand started to move, and a complex two circle formation appeared below him.
Gaia Escape Formation!
With the formation down on the ground, Wang Lin's body sunk into the ground like quicksand.
Once his body was fully submerged, he could feel the locations and connections to other Gaia Escape Formations he's set up across the world.
Wang Lin moved in on the closest one to him, and he started to move like a mole, and his body swiftly travelled through the earth.
The Gaia Earth Formation is what he personally learned in a secret realm here on Earth, and gave him an incredibly powerful formation beyond his understanding. He could only mimic the formations in his mind, but not the meaning and intent behind them.
Not like he wanted to anyways, as he didn't want to face the wrath of the Heavens.
As his body moved swiftly to the nearest Gaia Escape Formation, a sudden large sword was slammed into the ground, blocking his bath forwards.
The impact of the sword caused the nearby trees to almost tumble over, and all the rocks and soil was turned into dust with the lightning flickering across the white massive sword.
Damn it! Why did it have to be a guy who can counter this formation? Wang Lin screamed in his heart, but came out of the ground with his pen ready.
