Rune Masters are rare and rarely show themselves. Many dabble in other professions like smithing to install runes on weapons therefore strengthen them. Even the clothing industry needs Rune Masters for self repairing clothes.
Shao Mingzhu doesn't have any self repairing clothes, and if could afford one, he wouldn't buy it. He wanted to make his set of rune clothes.

When he opened his eyes again, he wasn't met with the sight of his sister and Shao Mingzhu, but a tall man with green hair. He also had sharp pointy ears that reminded him of an elf and had a slight smile on his face.
"What did you see?" The man asked, his voice calm and gentle.
Shao Mingzhu took a step back in fright, and in the corner of his eye, he saw Shao Yunlu and Ning Shushu to the side.
"Don't worry, they're fine. I don't dare to touch the other girl anyway, also the runes you comprehended aren't worth detaining you." The man said, and a slight breeze blew past Shao Mingzhu's face.
Well then, I won't speak. This place forbids people to speak anyway.
"And don't pretend you can't speak. I have time runes here that can replay the past." The man chuckled and said.
Shao Mingzhu's plan was thrown out the window, and sighed helplessly and spoke in half truths.
"I saw many runes glowing in golden light, but I couldn't comprehend many as I'm only a first tier runesmith." Shao Mingzhu said, and the man's eyes glowed, and then dimmed.
"Thruth." The man nodded his head.
Was that truth runes? And applied on his eyes? How high of a Rune Master do you need to be to have runes applied on your eyes?!
Shao Mingzhu's throat rolled slightly, and what he was really worried about was his missing heart being found out, but this man seemed more interested in the runes he's comprehended.
"Talent is bad. Hmm, a follower of the Church of Light and only a temporary employee? Take this and go to your boss and give it to him." Saying that, he tossed Shao Mingzhu a green gold card and suddenly vanished from his sight.
