Chapter 106 - Chapter 106: A small reminder, Tony learns magic?

"So, what exactly do you two want?"

"Didn't I tell you? We want to see Captain America."

Before Tony and Noah, a 3D projection of a black bald man floated, with a nano-material projection device beneath it.

Just now, Noah had told Tony about Captain America, explaining that Captain America wasn't dead and had already been rescued. Tony, after hearing it, indeed expressed great interest.

Tony has always been a man of action. After his interest was piqued, he planned to go directly to Nick Fury, but Noah stopped him, suggesting they first get Nick Fury's opinion to avoid any trouble by just showing up. So Noah skillfully hacked into Nick Fury's phone again, something he did often. Every time he needed to find Nick Fury, he would do this. Nick Fury could only silently think, 'Having an AI is really something, huh?'

Nick Fury was still in his office pondering the Tesseract project when Noah's face suddenly appeared on the phone on his desk, making him rub his forehead in exasperation. He really wanted to ask the other party when he would learn to make a normal phone call. Then, on the phone screen, he saw Tony's figure, which made him a bit confused. How did these two get together?

Then Tony on the other end immediately brought up a classified S.H.I.E.L.D. matter that shouldn't be known to outsiders: Captain America's Revitalization. When Tony spoke, Nick Fury was first puzzled, wondering why the other party knew about this. But when he glanced with his one eye at Noah next to Tony, he knew who had told Tony these things.

He had a deep understanding of Noah's mysterious nature. Noah was the one who told S.H.I.E.L.D. about Captain America. Perhaps he had even seen when Captain America was rescued, which was why he could now tell Tony about Captain America's awakening. However, Steve Rogers had just awakened, and his emotions were still unstable. He believed that letting Rogers be alone in peace was the best option for now, and that others shouldn't disturb him. So Nick Fury refused them, leading to the conversation at the beginning.

"No, Tony, I already told you, Captain America has just woken up. His physical condition isn't good, and he needs a period of rest. No one should disturb him." Nick Fury placed his phone in front of him, leaning against a cup, so his hand was free to rest his chin. Nick Fury loved this pose; it not only showed his prestige but also put pressure on the other party.

"Rest? Isn't he a super soldier? He's not a baby who just got woken up and needs his mom to sing him to sleep," Tony grumbled.

"Super soldiers are people too, Tony. And this super soldier is a good friend of your father, Howard. By rights, you should call him Uncle," Nick Fury said. Steve Rogers and Howard Stark, Tony's father, were good friends, so it was indeed correct for Tony to call Captain America 'Uncle,' though Tony probably wouldn't want to.

"His friends have nothing to do with me."

Tony's father, Howard, was always busy with work when Tony was little, with no time to care for or accompany him. Over time, the father-son relationship gradually grew distant, so Tony now held a resentful attitude towards his father. This made him more resistant to things related to his father, such as what Nick Fury was saying now. Of course, after obtaining the new element synthesis method his father left for him, his view of his father improved somewhat.

"Regardless, he needs to be left alone for now. A soldier who has been asleep for 70 years needs some time to face a completely different World. You'll have a chance to meet him later." In Nick Fury's plan, both Tony and Noah were members of his Avengers Initiative, and Captain America was also part of the plan. They would have plenty of opportunities to meet in the future.

After hearing this, Tony still wanted to say something to Nick Fury, but Noah, beside him, spoke first, interrupting Tony's intention to speak.

"Since he's not available now, we'll just have to go next time," Noah said. Tony just wanted to see what a human frozen for 70 years was like, purely to satisfy his curiosity.

After Noah finished speaking, he pondered for a moment, then continued to speak to the projected Nick Fury in front of him:

"The doors are connected."

"watt?"

Nick Fury on the other side was confused when Noah suddenly said that. Doors? What doors?

"Nothing, just a small piece of advice for you. Hanging up."

"Hmm? Wait…"

Nick Fury looked at his now black-screened phone and fell silent.

Noah could see the future, so what he said must have a special meaning. But why didn't he directly state what he wanted to say? Suddenly saying something like that, like speaking in riddles. Riddle man, get out of New York! Nick Fury rested one hand on his forehead and the other on the desk, beginning to think about the doors, his fingers constantly tapping the table.

"Doors… doors… Motherfucker!!"

Noah didn't know that Nick Fury was now turning into Motherfucker Man. His previous words were an allusion to the Tesseract, but the other party probably wasn't clear yet that the Tesseract could be used as a Teleportation portal.

After S.H.I.E.L.D. obtained the Tesseract, they had been secretly studying it. The Tesseract continuously emitted energy fluctuations, and those familiar with the Tesseract might use these fluctuations to detect its information, or even open a Teleportation portal to its location, as Loki did in the original Avengers 1 plot.

And judging by the current situation, although Loki had been captured and could no longer serve as Thanos's vanguard to Earth, Thanos wouldn't give up. If Loki was gone, other guys would come to Earth. During his consciousness transcendence process this morning, Noah sensed the state of the Tesseract on Earth. This Infinity Stone had been continuously emitting a strange energy fluctuation, which proved that the time for an external invasion of Earth was very close.

However, Noah did not intend to prevent this from happening, because it was profitable for him. Not only would the system refresh advanced tasks, but he could also obtain the Chitauri's high-tech equipment for research. Perhaps with a trick or two, he could even obtain two Infinity Stones.

When the war breaks out, they will try their best to evacuate citizens or move the battlefield away from the city. As for the secret research facility where the Tesseract is stored, Noah can only hope that all those S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents are actually HYDRA in disguise.

"What did you mean by 'doors' just now?" Tony, beside him, clapped his hands, brushing off some fried food crumbs, then pulled out a tissue to wipe his mouth.

"It's not important. Don't you want to see Captain America?" Noah snapped back to attention, casually dismissing Tony, then reached out and began to draw a circle.

Under Tony's astonished gaze, blue sparks began to fly in the air, then the sparks spread open, forming a blue Teleportation portal. At this point, Noah was using his own magic rather than the Vishanti's energy, so the magic's color was the color of Noah's magic.

Tony looked into the Teleportation portal; on the other side was a rather narrow single room with a vintage decor. A muscular blonde man sat on the bed, staring blankly out the window. On the other side of the Teleportation portal was Captain America, who was now staying in the room Nick Fury had temporarily arranged. This time it wasn't a makeshift prefab, but a proper, retro-decorated room.

"WDF?"

Tony couldn't help but make a sound at this miraculous sight. Noah raised an eyebrow and quickly closed the Teleportation portal.

Captain America, who was reminiscing about the past, quickly looked up at the ceiling. He seemed to have heard a stranger's voice just now, but when he looked up at where the sound came from, he found that it was just a normal ceiling, which made him very confused.

Meanwhile, on Noah's side, Tony was very amazed by this magical magic, and Noah had quickly closed the magic before Steve noticed.

"What is this?"

"A common Teleportation magic."

Tony expressed great curiosity and asked Noah to explain the principle to him.

"It's classified. I can't just teach people without permission. If there's an opportunity in the future, I'll take you to the place where I learned magic. If you want to learn magic then, perhaps you can pick up a trick or two."

"I'm free right now. Let's go to that place you mentioned quickly," Tony said, wiping his hands, indicating he was already ready.

Noah was a bit speechless. It seemed that a scientist like Tony had an unusually great curiosity for unknown fields.

"I think you should deal with the problem in your chest first, then consider this matter."
