Chapter 28 - CHAPTER 28

Copy

It had been a very long time since a collaboration stream with the members of the Celestial Project had begun.

"Wow, it's been such a long time since we streamed together, right?"

As always, the broadcast was naturally led by Anna.

Being the oldest, the most popular, and the best at hosting, Anna practically served as the leader of the first generation of the Celestial Project.

"Yeah, everyone's just been too busy~ we didn't even have time to collab."

"Oh right! Aren't you all way too busy these days?"

Mile and Haru picked up Anna's words one after another.

Then, on the topic of being busy, the members started opening up one by one.

"Yeah, super busy."

"Right? I can hardly sleep. Gotta review edited videos… prep streams… practice cover songs too…"

Even Roa and Maho joined the conversation, but I just kept my mouth shut and nodded along.

Well… because I'm not busy.

I mean, you have to have things to do in order to be busy, right? Until recently, I'd spent time drawing pictures to upload on Bluebird, but now that's done, the only thing I do outside of streaming is go to vocal lessons to practice.

Since I just nodded silently, the chat started buzzing for a moment.

Why can't she join the conversation?

Outcast gay ㅜㅜ

Look at her just nodding lmao

She's planning to coast through streaming, huh?

I couldn't tell if they were worried or just trash-talking. I was smiling at the chaotic chat when a donation alert went off.

"Thank you, ㅇㅇ, for the 1,000 won donation!"

Miro-nim, can you give us a spoiler about what cover song you're preparing?

"Oh me? I'm not doing one."

???

Why not?

You should do one

If you're not even releasing cover songs, what's keeping you so busy?

"Huh? Busy? I'm not busy at all."

??

You don't work?

At least pretend to be busy

"Wait, Miro, you're not busy?"

Then the members, who must have overheard me talking with chat, started asking me questions one by one.

"No wonder, you're always recruiting for League parties in the group chat."

"Miro does give off the vibe of someone who handles things fast."

"Yeah, definitely. Feels like she just gets things done quickly and moves on."

But the mood was going in a strange direction.

They think I'm efficient?

No, the truth is, I just don't have any work.

I stream two hours a day, and lately we don't even have broadcast-related meetings…

YouTube uploads? The company handles editing, and it's not like the editor ever screws around. I don't even review them.

Honestly, even watching my own videos feels kind of embarrassing.

LOL

Miro gets things done!

So that's why her LoL level isn't going up—because the members don't carry her ;;

But since the chat was hyping me up for once, I decided to roll with it.

"Yeah, honestly, what's wrong with just finishing work quickly and then having fun? If the other members kept up, we would've already hit level 30 in LoL and recorded our placement matches content."

"What?"

"We were defending you, and now you're attacking us with that shield…"

fr…

Ungrateful brat…

"C'mon, can't I say one thing?"

Why are they flipping on me like this?

Gartic Phone.

The first player writes down a situation in text. The next person sees it and draws a picture of that situation.

Then the next person sees the picture and writes what they think the situation is, and the following person draws it again… until it reaches the last player.

If the last drawing matches the first sentence, the team wins. A simple cooperative game.

Since there were six of us, six games would be running simultaneously.

Once all the games finished, we would review the six results at once.

"Hey, nobody write anything weird, okay?"

Right before we started, Anna said that, sounding a bit uneasy.

"Oh, don't worry. Everyone will write something safe."

After all, the Celestial Project members don't usually do edgy broadcasts. And we're basically rookies—who would write something controversial?

"Miro… actually, that was aimed at you."

"Huh? Why me?"

[…]

Everyone else knows why except you

Scary thing is, she genuinely doesn't get it ;;

"Ahaha… still, didn't you say Miro draws really well? During that collab with Log last time."

"Oh, you remember that?"

"Yeah, you said you even drew fanart of your senior senpais back then."

"I can draw people decently enough."

Oh true

Wait, Miro can draw too?

Lowkey multi-talented;

"Well, I'll be looking forward to it then. Let's get the first round started."

With Anna's words, the small talk ended and the game began.

Until all rounds were complete and the results revealed, we weren't supposed to communicate, so we left the voice channel.

"What should I write?"

As the first player, I had to write down a situation. Since the others would continue it, I wanted something simple and easy to draw.

Go chaos mode

Write something weird lol

I'm excited

Should we flip the table right away? ㅋㅋ

As expected, the viewers wanted me to write something troublesome for the next player. But I just went with something plain.

"This should work."

bruh then why even ask us?

smh, Miro-shit

lmao mood ruined

You didn't go chaos??

Sure, the chat was upset, but whatever—they were just saying that.

If I actually wrote something weird in the very first game, it would just kill the mood.

So I wrote my prompt, and then I got the next member's.

[Celestial Project group photo]

"Tsk… that's kinda tough."

Isn't that easy?

Pretty basic tho

"I have to draw all six of us though."

The timer in Gartic Phone is surprisingly short.

With my skill, I could just doodle six cute little chibis real quick. But if I did that, wouldn't my style be recognizable?

Especially since my fanart had been retweeted by that manga artist—attention on me had already spiked nationally.

If I drew something too similar now, the spotlight would blow up like crazy.

So instead…

"Hmm… this should be fine, right?"

ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Didn't you say you could "draw like a human"?

Holy crap, that's awful

Are you joking right now?

Well, Gartic Phone is a joke

"This was the best I could do in that short time."

I looked at the drawing I had produced.

For something drawn on a top-tier tablet, it was a pitiful sight.

Just some quick stick figures with each member's most obvious feature sketched in.

Still, since I managed to make it look like a group photo, surely everyone would understand… right?

I prayed as I waited for the next drawing to come in.

Not that I expected much from the others.

They all had busy lives before this project—how good at drawing could they really be?

"Anyway, I bet their drawings will look about the same as mine."

That's what I told chat… but then…

"Hm…"

Cute, nicely done?

???: They'll look about the same as mine

Wow

Same my ass ㅋㅋ

The next drawing that came in was surprisingly well done.

Not professional level, but considering the short time limit, they clearly drew as a hobby a fair bit.

"Well, yeah, that's pretty good. But… what is this supposed to be?"

"Pretty good," she says ㅋㅋ

Aren't they dancing?

The description's a little lacking though.

"[ㅇㅇ님, thank you for the 1,000 won donation.]

Miro-nim, considering you drew like absolute garbage, shouldn't you maybe not criticize other people's drawings?"

A sharp donation message cut through.

Drew like garbage, huh? Let's see if they'll still say that by the end of this game.

I leaned in and studied the drawing carefully.

If I can't draw it in my style… then why not draw it in theirs?

So I analyzed all the key points of that short, chubby, cute style—and before I knew it, the already short timer was almost gone.

Time's almost up and you haven't typed?

Hurry it up

Just write something

"Ah, hold on…"

I'd spent so much time observing the drawing that I barely had any left to actually write what it was.

Less than five seconds.

Luckily, thanks to careful observation, I had a pretty good idea of what it was, so I started hammering on the keyboard, but…

[Shyupuㅡldaeeun]

[Time's up! Moving on to the next sentence!]

I typed too fast and made a typo… and didn't even finish the sentence.

"Well… let's see what the next prompt is."

Ah ㅋㅋㅋ

She's trolling again

What was that??

Ugh, Miro-shit

"This one's mine, huh?"

The next prompt was 'Miro doing a handstand.'

I had no idea what the original situation had been, but at least this one was easy.

Yikes…

How's she gonna draw that?

Honestly easier if it's Miro herself tho

"Well, still easier than last time."

I said that and immediately put pen to tablet.

No time for rough sketches—I started straight with the hands pressed to the ground.

A small, round, chibi-like Miro. Short, plump, and cute.

Arms trembling from the handstand, hair spilling down to the floor.

By the time I finished those details, the timer ended.

During the short break before the next drawing arrived, I finally glanced at the chat.

???

No way…

Wait, was that last one Miro's drawing too?

Did she just copy the style that fast??

wtf is this??

Just as expected, the chat was shocked.

And of course they were—it looked almost exactly like the style from before.

Watching the flood of messages, I felt proud and said:

"From now on, call me Copy Ninja Miro."

Like a needle hidden in a bag—truth always comes out.

Like a king of songs.

Now, the Copy Ninja.
