Chapter 9 - Chapter 9

On a sunny Monday morning, everyone was busy with their respective activities. Likewise with Angel, he was preparing to tidy up the things he was going to bring.

The distance between her residence and the office near her is no longer difficult, just a 5-minute walk.

Angel walked over cheerfully while putting the headset in both of her ears, humming a little. Today her bright clothes indicate a good mood.

"Hopefully there will be no problems today." Hopefully he starts the day well.

When she wanted to turn around, Angel was surprised by a pat on the shoulder, she turned around to see that it was the man who kept bothering her in the office. Actually, it is not disturbing.

"Hi Angel, I just saw you around here, even though this is the road I've always traveled." He greeted her with a smile. He has one dimple on his right side, he's handsome but Leo is much more.

'What the hell am I thinking' Angel muttered little luckily no one listened to him.

"Hi also lim, I've only been around here for a few days." He replied while continuing his steps.

Hearing that, Lim smiled a little but was not noticed by Angel, if I can be honest, he liked Angel since he saw him who followed Mr. Leo behind.

Angel was grateful that they had arrived at the building, and Lim continued to talk all the way. And he only responded to what was necessary, Buka didn't know what he meant when he chose to pretend, he didn't understand.

Just as his hand was about to open the door of the room, there was a sound of someone calling his name "Angel" from behind, maybe about ten steps away. He locked himself up to go in and turned to see his boss standing upright with both hands in his pockets.

Today Leo wears a dark blue shirt, as well as a black suit combined with black cloth pants. Shiny shoes and neatly combed hair.

"Angel gather all the employee's downstairs, none of them are present, and no one is late." Leo immediately gave the order, then he entered his room.

"Heee just arrived too." Angel moaned slowly; his boss's senses were very sharp.

Angel immediately gathered all the employees without missing, he contacted the loyal head of the division.

Tok... Knock... knock

"Excuse me, sir, everything is already gathered," said Angel.

Without saying anything, Leo stepped out with Angel. The elevator door opened, all employees looked at the two, they looked harmonious, very harmonious, even thought of all employees. But some of them put on jealous faces sharp gazes in the show to Angel.

"You all know it's not a regulation in this company, are you paid to be in this company?" There was a sharp voice of Leo that echoed in the room. Making everyone freeze in it, none of them dared to raise their heads and some even held their breath.

"WHY CAN YOU GUYS GO HOME EARLY." Leo swept his gaze across the room, making everyone lower their heads even more.

"You guys write, mute, or how I'm asking. Answer." He said again with cruel words.

"And also, Victoria moving forward." Leo's command.

Hearing her name mentioned quickly, Victoria moved forward, she was afraid that the problem would increase again.

"I give you a punishment for overtime and complete the report for this morning. But I didn't find it on the table. Where?!"

Victoria's face was chastenedly pale, her hands trembled." Ma-sorry Sir... I–"

"Shut up" cut Leo sharply. "You think the law I gave can be trivialized? Are you playing with me?!.

Silence. Angel didn't dare to say a word, he clearly knew that this time everything could not be tolerated, this company had very strict rules no one should violate it.

Leo sighed for a moment. "Starting today, I don't want to see anyone again who dares to violate the rules. If anyone does, please get out of here, I can find someone more competent than you."

"And also, for you Victoria, your salary is deducted without overtime pay. That's an additional punishment if you don't want to get it out of here." He said checkmate.

Once Leo left his place and went up to the room to continue his work. All dispersed with pale faces, as well as Angel he could see the envious gaze of the employees even though not all of them.

Some of them whispered to each other to the theme.

"It's over Victoria, this time there is no tolerance from Mr. Leo anymore." they said while glancing at Victoria.

When angel wanted to turn around and enter the elevator, a sound was heard that made him stop.

"It's nice to be a secretary, not to be angry." Victoria's insinuation. A few people stopped and watched the two of them.

"I have nothing to do with you, after all I didn't come home early yesterday." Angel replied in a familiar tone.

Victoria who heard that felt annoyed, her hands clenched, she seemed to be humiliated. "Wow, there has been a change in you, Angel, after all, everyone also knows how the boss treats you differently." Victoria said to warm up the manna of everyone there.

Some of them did agree with Victoria's words, but not a few of them knew that Angel was not wrong.

"Yes, every time Angel makes a mistake, we don't hear if he's being punished or scolded all the time." They all whispered softly but still heard each other.

Angel tried to restrain herself, she didn't want to make trouble today, she had a lot of warnings, she didn't want to be dragged into her. With a slight faint smile.

"If you feel that all of these objections are unfair to you, Victoria, please immediately give your opinion to Mr. Leo. Don't make a fuss if you don't want everything to fall apart." Angel calmly he didn't know since he found the report yesterday and went up to the second floor in the cctv room to see what happened. And surprisingly, what Victoria said to Mr. Leo was not true because the truth was that she was careless in putting the report arbitrarily and just forgetting it.

Hearing that, he was afraid that Victoria stepped closer "don't be pretentious, Angel, it turns out that you have been playing with Mr. Leo all this time." Accuse Victoria.

"What is the proof that I am playing crazy with Mr. Leo. If it is proven to be the case, I will immediately resign without self-defense." Angel calmly replied.

Hearing about it it was obvious Victoria had no proof because it was just, she was making. Not wanting to be too long, he walked first, bumping into Angel's shoulder a little hard before whispering, "You'll never win Angel, just wait for what happened at school to happen again."

Everyone there joined in dispersing themselves, thinking that there would be a quarrel but it turned out to be just a verbal fight.

Angel was still faithfully petrified he knew his life now was no longer calm, Victoria was so cunning she would do anything for her own victory.
