Young Justice - The One Ring

Hello. I'm starting to write again, and I'm doing it in a Quest format. Those that know my ATLA fic already know the gig. Basically, you, the people, will control the actions of a fresh SI into the DC-Young Justice universe. Given the title, most might expect a Green Lantern fic. It isn't. You, the reader, are the ring. A soul trapped inside a ring. A simple gold ring dropped into Gotham City one month before the events of Young Justice/ first season begin. In the beginning, you have only two powers - Call and contact. You will draw nearby people to be your host and you can talk to them. Over time as your host does things or acts certain ways or might even have pre-built powers, you can gain something similar. If you get put up with a thief? You'll learn to dampen noise, be more hidden and if you bond deeply, complete actions or fights or "quests" you can learn to go chameleon and more. Which you could pass on to your next host. They'll be dice to deduct how boned your host is and sometimes you as well with encounters. Abilities can mesh and combine sometimes but you need hosts. Over time, given so many turns you have the option and sometimes are forced to control a person's actions more and more. I'm stealing the idea from Stewart92's DC - The One Ring (which you can find on spacebattles) I will also steal some stuff from DND. Disclaimer - I don't own anything. This is a story that will be shaped by luck and your own choices. The only thing I want from you is to become interesting. Make the bat worry, make the Joker frown, The Light sweat and above all...tell them nothing. Your knowledge is your only trick for now. If you turn their gazes to me, I will unplug their world, you along with it. Have fun now!
