Chapter 4 - 4

Two days quickly passed.

Around one o'clock that afternoon, Harvey directly put on his cloak, covering his entire body, and released an eerie, cold aura.

He turned invisible and left his home, heading to the rendezvous point specified by the person who posted the bounty.

In his usual identity, Harvey would drive or take a plane, but when using his God of Death identity, there was no need to hide.

In less than an hour, Harvey had already arrived at the location the other party mentioned.

Harvey looked around and listened, finding no other auras inside the building except for the three faint life signatures.

There were some people lingering in the distance, vaguely watching this direction.

Harvey saw them dressed in suits and ties, like ordinary office workers, but their life energy exceeded that of normal people; their physical fitness was at least above average.

Harvey couldn't directly discern someone's identity, but he could determine if someone was powerful through their life energy.

Absorbing these people would grant him a large number of Evolution Points, but Harvey wouldn't kill without reason, unless he accepted a mission.

Based on their attire, these people's identities could be one of three possibilities: plainclothes FBI, mercenaries, or Agents.

As for their exact identity, Harvey didn't delve deeper; he figured he'd know once he saw who wanted to meet him.

He wasn't a benevolent Mutant who thought he couldn't act against this or that person.

If someone showed clear hostility towards him, or even attacked him, he would kill them directly.

Subsequently, Harvey descended directly from the air to the sixth floor, and when he saw the beautiful red-haired woman inside the window, and the two other people in the room, he immediately recognized them.

So Harvey's body passed directly through the window and entered the floor.

Nick Fury, Coulson, and Natasha were all waiting for the arrival of the mercenary known as God of Death.

Harvey appeared directly in the triangular area where Natasha, Nick Fury, and Coulson were gathered.

"What specific mission do you want me to undertake?"

The sudden voice made Nick Fury, Coulson, and Natasha turn around instantly.

Natasha, in particular, almost instinctively pulled out her gun and aimed it at the direction of the voice.

The tall figure draped in a dark cloak appeared, emanating a chilling aura that seemed to freeze the temperature of the entire room.

When Natasha saw the black-cloaked figure radiating a chilling aura, a drop of cold sweat involuntarily trickled down her forehead.

Nick Fury turned around, his single eye narrowing.

Coulson also immediately pulled out his gun, and his eyelids twitched when he saw the figure's appearance.

However, his Agent training kept Coulson's expression tight, preventing him from showing shock, but the involuntary gulp indicated his inner turmoil.

Nick Fury saw the aura emanating from this figure and felt that if this black-cloaked fellow held a scythe, he would perfectly fit the description of the God of Death.

Nick Fury knew he had truly found the right person; this was definitely a powerful individual with superpowers.

"I believe you must be Mr. God of Death, correct?"

"I am Nick Fury, the one who contacted you on the dark web before. Do you mind if we sit down and talk?"

So Nick Fury immediately adjusted himself and said politely.

Upon hearing this, Harvey's form shifted, and he directly sat down on the sofa.

And in the eyes of Nick Fury, Natasha, and Coulson, this dark figure seemed to have teleported.

"This is our first meeting, and you acted on instinct, so I will overlook it this time."

"However, if you point a gun at me again in the future, and even try to shoot, then I will consider that hostility towards me and view you as enemies."

Harvey's voice was somewhat cold, speaking with a slight warning.

Natasha and Coulson broke out in a cold sweat upon hearing the warning words.

Nick Fury heard the blunt words, and almost simultaneously, all three of them mentally labeled this person named God of Death as extremely dangerous.

Having been an Agent for many years and having dealt with Captain Marvel, Nick Fury knew how powerful and dangerous super-powered individuals could be.

So Nick Fury immediately reacted, a friendly smile appearing on his face, his hands slightly raised and spread, as he slowly walked towards the sofa opposite Harvey.

"We have no intention of being your enemy, nor do we have any intention of firing, so please calm down."

"Let's have a friendly discussion about our business."

Nick Fury did not lower his slightly raised and spread hands until he sat down.

"Whatever you want to discuss, since you've specified me, then the deposit, which is at least ten million, must be paid to me."

"I presume you've already prepared the money and won't let me leave empty-handed, right?"

Harvey paid no attention to Nick Fury's actions and spoke directly.

"Of course."

Nick Fury nodded upon hearing this, also because he had understood the God of Death's rules.

That's why he only made contact after preparing the money, to avoid a breakdown in negotiations that could lead to his immediate demise.

Coulson received a signal from his Officer and immediately put down his gun, opening several large boxes placed nearby, which were filled with stacks of banknotes.

Seeing the money, Harvey knew that Nick Fury had come fully prepared for their meeting.

Although he had a rough idea of Nick Fury's intentions for meeting him.

"Alright, then let's talk now."

"Assassination, eliminating troublesome opponents, stealing important documents, escorting someone, and so on are all possible."

"What mission do you wish to assign me?"

However, Harvey still didn't expose him, merely treating Nick Fury as an ordinary bounty poster and began to inquire.

"Mr. God of Death, allow me to introduce myself first."

"I am Nick Fury, Director of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division."

"The reason I arranged this meeting is to discuss matters that ordinary people cannot comprehend."

Upon hearing these words, Nick Fury truly introduced himself.

As for Natasha and Coulson, it was not appropriate to introduce them too much before this God of Death agreed to join them.

"Compared to the FBI, which is easy to remember and pronounce, your department's name is truly long and awkward."

Harvey silently recited it in his mind upon hearing this, then said.

Harvey's words caused a hint of awkwardness to appear on the faces of the three super Agents present.

Nick Fury feigned a cough, trying to alleviate the awkwardness, then spoke with a serious expression.

"Ahem, the name is a bit long, and we are indeed considering how to modify or abbreviate it."

"However, the name is unimportant; what's important is what I want to tell you next."

"Mr. God of Death, although I don't understand your specific abilities, I believe you are a super-powered individual, and you have absolute confidence in your strength."

"But even as powerful as you are, I dare say that the World you have encountered is only a small part of the World."

Nick Fury began his persuasive speech, hoping to convince Harvey to join the Avengers.

Harvey didn't claim to fully understand the Marvel Universe, but he knew most of it, so he certainly wasn't unaware of these things.

"Are you trying to say that your so-called Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division knows more than I do?"

However, Harvey remained calm and said without batting an eyelid.

"Yes, first, I must explain that you need to be mentally prepared for these matters, and have a broad perspective, to accept what I am about to tell you."

"Our Universe, which we have yet to truly explore, contains unknown aliens."

"They came to Earth once before, and that time, fortunately, there was a superhero named Captain Marvel who helped us successfully repel those aliens."

"Only then were we, humanity, spared; if we had failed to repel them, humanity's fate would have been unimaginable."

Nick Fury nodded upon hearing this, and began to speak with great emotion.

"It doesn't sound like there's any need to be mentally prepared."

"Since there are super-powered individuals like me, it's not strange to have aliens, is it?"

"And even if they are aliens, they can't harm me."

Harvey said unmoved upon hearing this.

This wasn't because Harvey understood the Marvel Universe that he said this.

Even in other Worlds, once there are super-powered individuals far exceeding ordinary people, or rather, powerful beings.

Then the existence of powerful races other than humans, meaning aliens, is simply a normal occurrence.

For example, the League of Legends Universe has more than just the human race; other races, according to human perception, can also be considered intelligent aliens.

Nick Fury paused upon hearing Harvey's words, looking as if to say, 'Why aren't you following the script?'

If an ordinary person heard about past alien invasions, and how humanity successfully repelled the alien attack with the help of a hero, saving humanity's fate, they would at least be surprised, if not filled with awe, right?

After all, if not for that hero, humanity might have already perished.

Why did this God of Death not seem surprised at all?

Then, Nick Fury thought of something, looked at the indiscernible figure of God of Death, and asked cautiously.

"Forgive my impertinence, but Mr. God of Death, where are you from, what is your race, are you human or alien?"

This question stumped Harvey, causing him to fall into thought.

And the reason for Harvey's pause was this:

If based on his past life and his transmigration into this body, he was undoubtedly a human.

However, he had received the help of the Void System, gaining the Void Race's ability for infinite Evolution, and possessing a long lifespan of unknown duration.

Furthermore, he could completely transform into Void Predator Kha'Zix, becoming a terrifying and chilling sight in the eyes of others, and his strength would also increase.

And in the future, he would gain even more Void Race power, so was he now considered human or Void Race?

Harvey had never truly considered this question, and now he was thinking about it seriously.

Nick Fury, Natasha, and Coulson saw that this God of Death suddenly fell silent, seemingly lost in thought, and couldn't help but feel a little nervous.

Natasha and Coulson had heard Nick Fury talk about Captain Marvel; the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division indeed possessed some alien materials and technology.

So both of them believed that there were aliens in the Universe.

However, believing was one thing; neither of them had ever truly seen an alien, and this God of Death, who was possibly an alien, was also a very dangerous individual.

As fellow humans, as long as they didn't show hostility, they wouldn't worry that this God of Death would suddenly kill them.

But if this God of Death was an alien, with no sense of belonging to Earth or humanity.

If they exposed his identity now, it was uncertain whether he would immediately engage them.
