"Just okay." Han Yu smiled calmly and politely. The difference in power levels was too vast—there was nothing here that could make him take things seriously.
The so-called Dragon-level threats were only relative to the heroes. If heroes all started at Han Yu's level, then the so-called "monsters" would just be cosplay enthusiasts in strange costumes—hardly anything to fear.
"This… this is impossible! How could my bats just… all die like that?!"
The Bat King roared in disbelief. These weren't ordinary bats—they were the poisonous bats he had spent a long time cultivating. Tens of thousands of them, each carrying paralyzing venom that spread rapidly. Even their wings had been modified to block bullets and other firearms.
He had expected to wreak havoc, but not even half an hour had passed before it was all over.
Han Yu ignored him and continued chatting with Qiyu, smiling as usual. There were plenty of enemies who couldn't admit defeat, and he didn't care to waste his attention on them.
In the shattered remnants of the "Black Bowl" that had trapped Flash Fras, the civilians who had been caught by the bats scrambled to the side, wary that any surviving bats might rise again.
As for Flash Fras himself, when he saw that Bat King's bats had indeed lost all vitality, he half-kneeling to the ground in relief.
Pft.
A mouthful of fresh blood came out, tinged with streaks of purple—clearly poisoned. His body bore many long scratches, certainly inflicted by bats while trapped in the Black Bowl.
He tried to endure, only allowing the poison to spread once the bats dissipated. His face had already turned purple from the toxin, and distinct purple veins were visible across his temples and forehead.
Smile Hero checked Flash Fras's wounds. No ambulance had arrived yet, and the rapid spread of the toxin was evident—if untreated, it could threaten his life.

Smile Hero grabbed the Bat King by the collar. Without his swarm, the Bat King was just a small, stocky figure, no longer a threat.
"Hahaha! Give up! This is my modified Bat Poison-B. Just one milliliter can paralyze an adult in one minute, leaving them immobile. Within five minutes, they die. No antidote. Before I die, taking down an S-class hero with me isn't bad, right?!"
The Bat King laughed arrogantly, as though everything was already decided.
Smile Hero clenched his fists, ready to strike, but noticed the crowd gathering nearby. "Too many people… can't act here. Damn it, if no one was around, I'd beat you senseless!"
To maintain the heroes' reputation, they never attacked an enemy who had clearly lost combat effectiveness—such action would tarnish the hero's name.
"I can still hold on… go help the injured first…" Flash Fras's words caused another gush of blood, with the purple streaks increasing. The Bat Poison-B was spreading further.
Genos also approached to check Flash Fras. With his computer brain, he quickly calculated the extent of the poison's spread.
"The toxin has reached about 20% of his bloodstream. Once it hits 25%, it will cause severe harm to his body."
"That's right—basically, he's a goner. No saving him!"
The Bat King laughed even more wildly. Smile Hero couldn't take it anymore. Glancing at Genos, he shifted to create a blind spot, then used the moment to deliver a solid punch to the Bat King's face.
The Bat King didn't behave obediently. If anything, he laughed in anger, "I love seeing heroes like you get mad. It's so beautiful! Watching your comrades die helplessly… isn't it a wonderful feeling?"
His psychology had become somewhat perverse. His words made Smile Hero's fists clench. Were it not for the crowd, he might have killed this dwarf right there.
"Oh, Bat Poison-B, sounds impressive… but it's nothing special." Han Yu said casually.
The Bat King turned sharply, staring at the boy who had effortlessly dealt with his bats, eyes full of resentment. "Hmph, don't think you can handle this!"
"Still pretending?"
Han Yu's smile didn't waver. With one slap, he struck the Bat King's face. Unlike the heroes of this world, he didn't care about maintaining an image—his moves were decisive, leaving the Bat King stunned.
The civilians gasped. Heroes shouldn't hit an incapacitated enemy—but thinking again, they didn't even know which hero Han Yu was.
Han Yu didn't care what they thought. Their blindness had even let Qiyu remain a C-class hero, and many of his accomplishments went unrecognized. Whatever Qiyu did, they assumed it was someone else. Qiyu certainly didn't look like someone capable of handling a Dragon-level monster.
"Minor poison—hardly worth mentioning." Han Yu raised his palm, and a pink flame rose. A flick of his finger sent the flame into Flash Fras's body.
Purple mist rose from Flash Fras as his deep-purple face returned to a healthy tone. Sensation returned to his limbs, and the poison was neutralized.
Watching his poison undone so easily, the Bat King was dumbfounded. He dared not speak. This man was unlike any other hero—immensely powerful, utterly unconcerned about appearances, even slapping him in front of a crowd without hesitation.
"Brother… thank you. I, Fras, will remember this favor."
Flash Fras exhaled deeply, standing before Han Yu.
Han Yu smiled, unbothered. "Just a simple favor."
He had saved Flash Fras because he saw that, despite his strength to defeat the Bat King, Flash Fras had refrained from attacking due to the humans trapped in the Black Bowl, trying other methods. That was worth saving a life for.
As they spoke, Han Yu's calm eyes suddenly sharpened. He looked down the street at a woman who, seeing his gaze, walked toward him.
"Quite an impressive fight. I've never seen anyone blend ice-based powers with swordsmanship so fluidly. And… seems you have fire abilities too?"
