"This is a Dragon-level monster, huh? Doesn't look that impressive,"Han Yu said with a light laugh, hands in his pockets, as he gazed at the sky-darkening Bat King.
"These should be mutated bats. Their bloodsucking speed has been greatly enhanced, and their wings strengthened, making it very difficult for ordinary blades to harm them," Genos analyzed calmly.
"Ah…"Saitama's face remained expressionless.
"Genos, are you going to handle this?"King said weakly. From the outside, he seemed the strongest of the four, but only they knew the truth—King was actually the weakest.
"I'll go. Let me see how strong the monsters in this world really are,"Han Yu smiled and stepped forward. The moment he took that step, his clothes transformed from his simple modern outfit into a black kimono top, tapered trousers, and a white haori draped over his shoulders.
His left hand slowly curled, and tendrils of white mist emerged from the void, coalescing in his palm. It elongated into a pristine, ancient-style long sword.
The instant the snow-white blade appeared, the sweltering summer heat dropped sharply, causing everyone nearby to sneeze.
"Who is that? Why isn't it King or Genos taking action?"
"Another S-Class hero? I've never seen him before!"
"How did he just change like that? That outfit and that sword—did they just appear out of thin air?"
Han Yu's arrival instantly stirred the crowd into a frenzy, everyone speculating about his identity. Meanwhile, it also caught the attention of the Bat King.
"Hmph, another fool rushing to die. Even 'Flashy Flash' couldn't escape me—what can you do?"Bat King smirked and commanded a swarm of bats to fly at Han Yu, intending to trap him as he had trapped Flashy Flash.
Faced with the overwhelming mass of bats, Han Yu rested his thumb on the guard of his sword, drew the blade, swung, and sheathed it—all in one fluid motion.
To ordinary eyes, it seemed as though he merely brushed the sword with his thumb, yet somehow it returned to the sheath on its own.
"What's he doing? Can't be that strong… he's too scared to draw his sword?"
"Looks like it. I checked the hero rankings—there's no record of him among sword users. Probably some magic trick, just here to show off,"
"He's doomed. That bat monster won't give him a chance."
No one could catch Han Yu's movements. They didn't even see him attack. Only Genos and Saitama were intrigued.
"What fast swordsmanship!"Saitama marveled.
"Indeed. I had to use a high-speed camera to even catch his silhouette,"Genos's eyes sparkled. He was the elder brother of Ultron, who had easily defeated him, so his own power naturally surpassed most.
"I have no idea what you two are talking about,"King shrugged. As a normal human, he saw exactly what anyone else would see, but hearing Saitama and Genos rave like this, he had to admit—the man in front was impressive.
Bat King smiled as he watched Han Yu. Unable to see his movements, Han Yu seemed lifeless to him. Yet suddenly, part of the bats lost connection—specifically, the ones surrounding Han Yu.
"Look at that!"
Finally, someone noticed something was off. The bats visibly froze midair, transforming into ice sculptures and crashing to the ground as shattered ice fragments.
"What… what's happening?!"Bat King's expression changed. He had no clue how it was happening. As he focused on Han Yu, the figure blurred, impossible to track.
"Damn it, don't underestimate me!"Bat King commanded, sending out ultrasonic waves that only bats could hear.
Through the sound, the surrounding scene appeared in his mind, every movement clear as day.
"Damn, why can't I find him?"Bat King thought. His bat sonar had never failed before—but now he couldn't locate Han Yu. A bad feeling crept into his heart.
At that moment, a light chuckle echoed behind him.
"Do you want to become shattered ice too?"
Bat King spun around—empty space. A cold sweat broke out on his forehead.
He tried to use the remaining bats to surround himself, forming the massive figure he had before—but he noticed some bats had lost the psychic link. Looking down, he saw black shards of ice on the ground—his own bats.
"In that case, I'll just use these people to start the surgery. Let's see if you dare to come out!"
Gritting his teeth, Bat King decided to use human lives to control his opponent, just like he had with Flashy Flash. He sent the remaining bats toward the nearest humans.
At the same time, a faint laugh resounded through the air:
"Ten-mile Ice Seal."
Snowflakes began falling from the sky. The intelligent chill targeted the flying bats, freezing the swarm midair. They fell as shattered ice fragments.
Even the bats trapping Flashy Flash were frozen solid. Inside, Flashy Flash cautiously touched the ice-covered bats.
To his surprise, the ice shattered easily, freeing them.
Picking up a shard, Flashy Flash saw the trapped bats' eyes glow red—but it faded quickly, their gaze becoming misty and lifeless.
"Alright, go back."
Han Yu retracted his ice blade. Under everyone's eyes, his clothes returned to normal as he walked back to Saitama and the others.
"Not bad. Your swordsmanship is impressive,"Saitama said, slightly surprised. From what he could tell, Han Yu hadn't even tried hard—just casually swinging the sword like a toy and still easily finishing. Perhaps he had the power to do the same with a single punch.
Saitama had seen several sword masters, but their movements were far too slow in his eyes—slow enough to track without even trying.
