Chapter 12 - Perfect Dish

When the mass of a certain object reached a certain point, it could produce gravity. The effect of gravity varied from object to object.

But when the space itself collapsed, the void needed to be filled. And, to fill up this void, it would create a powerful attraction.

Similar to that of a Black Hole!

Ken couldn't create a black hole. That would splatter his mind, destroy his body, and put his soul in eternal agony.

He wouldn't want something like that to happen to him. Especially when he was just reborn in a new world with new possibilities.

So, he thought of creating gravity using a different method. Instead of creating large objects with heavy mass, he decided to make the space collapse.

A large purple void emerged in the stomach of the assassin. His mana shield instantly flared up, but before it could even form, the void sucked it in.

"Ahhhhhh!"

The man felt his stomach churning. His body was turning into spaghetti as it started getting pulled into the purple void.

When the other assassins heard his scream, they tried running as fast as they could.

Their speed was fast, but the two assassins who were near the middle one couldn't make it out.

Their bodies were pulled back. Not just their bodies, anything within the vicinity of five meters was being pulled into the purple void.

This was simply because his mana wasn't strong enough to create a bigger collapse in the space.

In less than ten seconds, two of those assassins were also turned into noodles before they were pulled into the void.

In less than fifteen seconds, the void had managed to pull enough space to heal its collapse.

"Haa! Haa! Haa!"

"It was Level Four.... Level Four Magic Spell!"

Gulp!

Ken heavily breathed as he fell on one knee. Despite that, the smile on his face didn't disappear.

It was amazing. Being able to play with the natural laws of the universe with nothing more than his thoughts.

Thought Creation Magic!

Just as he named it, this was an overwhelmingly amazing ability.

"Damn it! He is exhausted. Kill him in one strike!"

"Kill him in one strike!"

Two of the remaining assassins also saw his condition and immediately agreed. They put away their blades and raised their hands.

Suddenly, their mana flared like crazy as the heat started disrupting the air. The temperature rose.

"Hurry up and create a defensive barrier!"

Peter screamed towards the guard and released his man. But suddenly, Ken raised his hand.

"Wait!"

"I haven't finished cooking."

"This is my moment."

Ken took a deep breath as he stabilized his body and stood up. Though his legs were still trembling hard.

This terrified those assassins, but their mana was almost half-exhausted as they conjured a large fire that slowly took the shape of a dragon.

Roar!

[Fire Magic- Wraith of the Fire Dragon]

This spell. He had read it. It was a Level Four Spell. For a Silver Rank, this shouldn't be possible.

But with their combined magic, they were able to pull it off. Just like how he was able to pull off Level Four Spell with his overwhelming Magic ability.

There were always methods to overcome certain weaknesses and limitations.

The Fire Dragon was nearly ten meters long and five meters wide. Every part of its head was carved with the image of a dragon.

It perfectly replicated the image of an eastern dragon that Ken knew about.

Seeing it, Ken took a deep breath. The power of Imagination began surging. His mana was half-consumed before.

This time, he was going to consume at least two-thirds of the remaining one. Once again, he wasn't going to create something.

He was simply going to control the phenomenon or control nature itself.

Suddenly, Peter felt a chilling wind, and so did everyone around Ken. The temperature was going down.

A white breath emerged from his nose and mouth as he let it out. The temperature went down like crazy.

He wasn't creating ice. He was controlling the temperature, pulling it down to zero and even further.

[Thought Creation Magic]

Ken slowly raised his hand. His palm was wide open, but as he slowly pulled down his hand, his palm started closing in as well.

The fire dragon was moving towards him at an extraordinary speed. It was melting the ground and causing immense destruction on the road.

But just when Ken's hand hit the lowest reach, he whispered and flared his Mana to maximum.

[Eternal Prism of Ice]

Crack! Crack! Crack!

In an instant, the ice spread like a wild wave of a tsunami. Before the Fire Dragon reached his face, it was frozen in mid-air.

The fire itself was frozen. And that wasn't all. The ice kept spreading. With his control over mana and his ability, it went straight towards those assassins.

Before they even saw it coming, they were frozen like ice sculptures, and so was the road for the next five hundred meters.

Behind Ken, it was slightly colder, but no one was frozen or even shivering.

Alex pulled his head closer to his wife, but his voice wasn't small.

"You have to admit it. He didn't need to raise his hand while using this magic. He just did that for his looks."

Iris had some mischievous thoughts in her mind as she replied.

"I think with these abilities, it won't be long before I will have several daughters-in-law."

"I know, right!"

Alex nodded his head with satisfaction. He wouldn't say he was jealous of his son's ability to look cool while using magic spells.

At this moment, despite being exhausted and almost bleeding in his palm, Ken was blushing hard.

He couldn't believe his parents would talk about these behind him.

He admitted that he did try to pose while using his skill, but that was only to refine his control.

After coming to this world and using these abilities, he came to a realization.

The harder he tried to say the name or pose for the spell, the better it would turn out to be.

Without this, he wouldn't be able to control the temperature in a certain direction. It wasn't like the temperature was listening to him.

It was his spell guiding it, and the spell was guided by him.

So, he had no direct relationship with the spell. He was simply using the gestures and words to implement the spell in the right way.

Besides, he hadn't even completed his final pose. He let his Mana vortex recover a little bit more mana before he stood up.

He pointed his finger towards the dragon like a gun. At this moment, the remaining mana in his Mana Space gathered at his fingertip.

When it gathered there, the mana slowly changed its color and shape, turning into a sphere of white mana.

[Thought Creation Magic- Mana Bullet]

Instead of transforming his mana into anything else, he simply pulled mana into his finger and started rotating it.

The more he thought about it, the more fiercely it rotated.

"Bang!"

He whispered as the Mana Bullet sped towards the frozen dragon.

Bang! Crack! Boom!

His Mana Bullet pierced through the frozen dragon, and several cracks appeared on it before it broke into pieces of ice and fell to the ground.

As it moved, the Mana Bullet created a straight impact on the frozen ground, tearing it apart.

Bang! Crack! Crack!

When it reached those assassins' sculptures, it collided and destroyed them as well.

But upon reaching them, it only went on for a few hundred meters before it exploded.

Boom!

A large crater emerged on the frozen road, but the real road wasn't damaged because of the ice.

As the ice exploded everywhere, Ken turned back and asked.

"So, how was my dish?"

"Are you still comparing this to a meal?" Alex rolled his eyes and gave his son's thumbs-up.

"It was a masterpiece. But you do realize you used a bunch of different abilities on an open road, right?"

Ken chuckled as he walked towards his parents.

"It's not like I can hide it forever."

"By the Ken, how did you use mana like that? It was a pure mana sphere, but it moved like a fire arrow or even a wind arrow."

Iris curiously asked.

She was very curious about how her son suddenly became so good at his abilities. But she didn't ask him about it before.

"When I was in a coma, I was able to think about it. I think it was due to my overwhelming talent that I was able to come up with many ideas in a short moment of peace."

Ken revealed the lie that he had been thinking about for a long time.

"By the way, Peter, what is my bounty in the underground market?"

Peter replied.

"Twenty Million Mana Coins!"

"Oh damn!"

Ken smacked his lips. For a moment, he thought if he could create a clone and staging his death.
