Chapter 13 - New AI

Ken returned to the mansion with his parents, butler, and the guards. Because they had already eaten outside, they went to their beds.

Ken also needed rest. Especially since he pushed his body to the absolute limit this time.

Whether it was Gravity Well or Mana Bullet, or Eternal Prism of Ice, they were extremely mana taxing.

The pressure he had to bear while using these spells was so immense that without his Third Rank body and Rank One Soul with Three Rings.

If he could improve his soul to Rank Two, he would be able to use those spells much more easily.

Just when he was about to enter his bed, an idea suddenly came to his mind.

'Wait a minute! Atom can't turn the page of a book and read, but what if he doesn't have to?'

He instantly took out those books and placed his hand over one of the books.

His Thought Creation Magic was almost omnipotent if he had certain knowledge.

But even without that, his magic ability was quite broken, especially with his ability to create spells so easily.

And more importantly, he just needed to think about how those spells would be formed, and they would be able to do whatever he wanted them to do.

There were restrictions, and that's exactly what he wanted to test.

[Thought Creation Magic- Recreation]

As he thought in his mind and activated his ability, there was a deep silence for a moment.

Pop!

Suddenly, a new book appeared in his hand. When this appeared, his hand trembled a little.

Not out of pressure but out of excitement.

He slowly turned the page. When he saw the words, he almost screamed out of excitement.

But he controlled his excitement and kept turning it while plucking every page out.

Yes, that's exactly why he planned to recreate these books.

These books were important for the family. He couldn't just tear them down. But it would be different if those books were copied and recreated.

As he started scattering the page on the table, Ken also asked.

"Atom, how long does it take you to scan the whole page?"

"Sir, it takes somewhere between ten to fifteen seconds."

"It's a bit slow."

Normally, this kind of thing shouldn't take more than a second. Of course, processing was a different thing.

"Hmmm! I think I can use this speed for now. At least, I can pluck out a page per second, right?"

Ken muttered.

Five seconds later, a reply came from Atom.

"Sir, you are taking somewhere between one second to three seconds."

"Oh!"

Ken didn't care about the time. He just kept doing it until he had completely removed all the pages.

But after he finished with fourth book, he found almost every part of his room was covered with the paper.

Even if he followed this action, it would take him quite a long time.

He raised his head towards the ceiling and muttered.

"How can I read those books? There are at least seventy of those. I can't finish them within a single day."

"I need to find a solution."

Tap! Tap! Tap! Tap!

As he kept tapping the table, he suddenly stood up.

"This could work."

Ken moved around his shoulders as he prepared himself. Finally, he placed both of his hands on the front, with his palms facing forward.

Then, his mind started working on his new idea.

It was designed. An arm controlled by his AI. He was going to replicate a small portion of his AI and give it to the arm.

When he started designing it, he realized just how hard it was. He had to think back to every single spell and its creation to do this.

Except for something like Simulation Spell, Transformation Spell, or Self-Destruction Spell, he placed other spells in this AI.

Though he made sure it only had one job.

Since it wasn't connected to his brain, he had to put the information into this half-baked AI.

It had one job.

Turn the page of the book and record information in its Storage Spell.

Then, he made sure he had a direct connection to that Storage Spell. This wasn't like copying files from a hard drive.

He had to create a mana link between Atom and this new AI.

Finally, after he thought of everything in his mind, he released his Mana and whispered.

[Thought Creation Magic- Object Creation]

When he used his spell, two robotic arms with five fingers appeared. It was connected to one long pipe, and this pipe had a camera on top of it.

Even though he tried to hide it, different symbols appeared on the object. This was simply because he had placed several spells on it, including one new one.

Mana Connection Spell- It allowed him to connect to this arm with his Mana and transfer information through Mana itself.

As this robotic arm appeared, he started recreating new books. Although he could allow it to read those original books.

He wasn't sure if this would be a good idea, especially since he couldn't keep his eye on this.

He knew he was going to fall asleep as soon as this thing finished.

While recreating those books, Ken found another good thing about his talent.

His mana recovery was insane.

He had felt this before, but most of the time, he was too consumed.

So, even if his mana was recovering, he didn't think much about it. He just thought it was fast.

But now, he realized just how fast it truly was.

Every time he used his magic spell to recreate a new book, his mana would start recovering.

He would recover the mana he used to recreate one book by the time he finished recreating three books.

He would take less than thirty seconds to recreate one book.

If he consumed 3 mana points in one book, then he was recovering one mana point every minute and a half.

This speed was crazy because the mana he was spending in one book wasn't just 3 mana points.

That would be for beginners.

If he used a beginner's index as a measurement, he was spending at least 90 mana points per book.

And, he was recovering that much in one and a half minutes. His recovery was a mana point per second.

When he realized these specs, he couldn't stop laughing.

And, suddenly, a new idea came to his mind.

"Atom, did you scan those assassins, my parents, butler, and guards?" Ken asked.

"Yes, Sir! I did." Atom replied.

"What information did you receive?" Ken asked.

"Sir, I was able to find out their physical stats, magical stats, ability, and spells."

Atom replied.

Even Ken was surprised by that. He didn't think his scanning spell was so good.

"Then, are you able to put those stats on paper?" Ken asked.

Atom took almost a minute to understand what Ken was trying to say. It had to literally scan Ken's brain for this information.

After a minute, it replied.

"Yes, sir! I can, but there is one problem. I am not sure what the base human physical stats and magical stats would be."

Even Ken felt stumped by this question until he realized something.

"Wait a minute! Atom, you can do it like. Use my body as a measuring unit, but clear out every increased influx of my physical stats and magical stats."

Atom didn't reply for almost two minutes. During this time, Ken kept recreating more books.

"Sir, I can't do it. I do not have the necessary information on your previous physical and magical stats."

"That's a bummer. I guess we can wait. Tomorrow, I will find someone who hasn't awakened his magical ability."

"Then, you can create a desired character panel for me. Also, while I fall asleep, I am giving you one task."

"Analyze my battle from before! Figure out my weakness, my strength, those assassins' weakness and strength as well."

"Find an effective method to defeat them without using those heavy mana-consuming spells!"

"Can you do that?"

Ken asked.

After a minute, Atom registered his commands and replied.

"Sir, I will do my best!"

"Good! Now, I am going to sleep."

Without having any second thoughts, Ken stopped recreating books and went to his bed.

He just fell over it.

He was tired before everything, and now, he was feeling even more tired.

At this moment, he couldn't help but realize something.

'This is just me living in a secure place. How hard will it be when I am running from those people?'

'I won't be able to survive on my own. Even with my AI, this seems like an impossible task.'

'I need to find an external ally. I heard that many people are living outside the cities because they are either discriminated for certain reasons or they can't afford it.'

'I can try contacting them as soon as I leave this place.'

'But for now, I need a good nap!'

As he thought about it, his eyes slowly closed, and he peacefully fell asleep.
