Chapter 28 - Chapter 28: A Three-Star Mission is Issued! Target: Defeat the Ghost Ship, the Flying Dutchman!

Time flowed by, and soon, it was time for the mission to refresh.

Everyone in the group was waiting with anticipation, wondering what kind of mission it would be this time.

When the time reached eleven o'clock, the mission finally appeared.

[Ding! Mission cooldown has ended. A new Multiverse Mission is now being issued!]

[Mission]: Defeat the ghost ship, the Flying Dutchman.

[Difficulty]: ★★★☆☆ (3-Star)

[Time Limit]: Two hours to accept.

[Hint]: This is a ghost ship that can never return home. However, because the heart of its captain, Davy Jones, has been found, it has returned to roam the seas…

[Special]: You may form a fleet to engage the ghost ship.

[Note]: If the countdown ends before the mission is accepted, it will be considered automatically forfeited.

Hu Tao:Whoa… a ghost ship!!!!

Ganyu:Form a fleet? Isn't this just a freebie mission for us?

Among the members of the group, who could possibly be more formidable at sea than Captain Beidou?

Her Crux Fleet was a terrifying force that had conquered even sea monsters.

Beidou:Hahahaha! Sorry, everyone, but it looks like fate has chosen me this time! Ningguang… it's a three-star mission! I'm getting ready to set sail!

Ningguang:Wait. Let's hear Su Han's briefing first. The higher the star rating, the greater the mission's difficulty!

Keqing:That's right. During the first mission, if I hadn't known about the Nichirin Blades, killing the demons wouldn't have been so easy.

Beidou:Alright, fine. Then hurry up and talk, Su Han. I'm already getting impatient.

Su Han:This ghost ship isn't as simple as you think. First, its captain, Davy Jones, was in a relationship with the goddess Calypso. Because of this, the crewmen on his ship are basically all immortal, undead souls. Moreover, Davy Jones can summon the Kraken. That means you'll be facing not just his crew, but a sea monster as well!!!

Listening to his explanation, Beidou's brow gradually furrowed.

Immortal monsters? That does sound troublesome.

A ghost ship plus the Kraken would indeed be difficult to handle. No wonder it was a three-star difficulty.

Ningguang:I have an idea. If Ganyu joins Beidou's fleet, can they do the mission together? The mission details do say we can "form a fleet."

Ganyu, who possessed a Cryo Vision, would be an almost invincible presence in a naval battle.

Su Han:Uhh… that should be possible. I don't see any restrictions against it.

Keqing:It's a shame I'm out of town; I can't even get back to Liyue Harbor today. Otherwise, I could have joined you.

Zhongli:Then you should give it a try.

He had absolutely no intention of going.

Although a single stone spear would annihilate it, slimy things were what he most disliked seeing.

Hu Tao:Count me out! The thought of all those tentacles is enough to make me sick. You guys do your best!

Beidou:Alright! Then I'm taking Ganyu and setting sail!

At that moment, Ganyu was handling official business near the harbor.

It was only a short walk for her to reach The Alcor.

"Alright, crew, let's set sail! We've got big business today!" Beidou bellowed.

"Captain, didn't we just get back for repairs? Why are we heading out again so soon?" a crewman asked.

Beidou shot him a glare. "What's with all the pointless questions? Hoist the sails!"

"Aye, aye!"

The entire Crux Fleet was not needed. For today's mission, The Alcor alone would be sufficient.

Ganyu stood silently at the bow, holding her Amos' Bow.

Once they had sailed out of Liyue Harbor and away from public view, Beidou finally accepted the mission.

She took a deep breath and addressed her sailors. "Everyone, listen up! Today's mission is not going to be simple. Our target is a ghost of the sea!"

The crew thought their captain was just joking around.

However, Ganyu spoke up. "It's true. Please be on high alert. Otherwise, people will die."

The crew members looked at each other, and a sense of tension began to fill the air.

Soon, the ship began to grow faint, sailing into a mysterious fog.

In the world of the Caribbean, cannon fire roared. The Flying Dutchman had already destroyed three ships, a terrifying, demonic presence on the water.

Aboard the Black Pearl, Elizabeth Swann's face was pale. Although she was the governor's daughter, she was helpless in the face of this situation.

Just a moment ago, she had personally witnessed Davy Jones summon the Kraken, which had torn a ship in two.

Now, the Black Pearl itself was heavily damaged. What were they to do?

Watching the ships sink one by one into the sea, Davy Jones laughed menacingly. "You think you can fight me? You'll all become vengeful souls at the bottom of the sea! Hahahaha!"

As he laughed maniacally, the tentacles on his face writhed.

His monstrous crew members cheered along with him.

At that moment, something unexpected happened.

From within the fog, a massive ship slowly emerged onto the sea, appearing in everyone's vision.

A dragon figurehead.

Red sails.

And an enormous hull.

This unfamiliar vessel captured everyone's attention.

Captain Jack Sparrow frowned. "Where did that ship come from? Is it from the Dragon Country, too?"

"I don't know! There are no legends of this ship among the Pirate Lords!" his first mate replied.

The design was clearly that of the "Dragon Country"—China. Especially the figurehead.

But no one knew who the master of such a beautiful ship was.
