Kaia dragged her feet along the sidewalk. She looked thinner than usual and her face was drained of colour. 5 days had passed since her encounter with Zayne, he hadn't emailed or called….. nothing. She should be relieved, but she jerked at every ringing phone, every buzz, every car door that opened, her life with Zayne hadn't even begun and it seemed to revolve around him. Nobody could get anything out of her, not even Eira.
Kaia sat at the cafe in the restaurant, her expression blank. Her phone beeped, a familiar beep that jerked her back to life. She bolted to the email, and there it was….. Zayne's message
'You've had your fun principessa, it's my turn don't you think' she could see his damn smirks through the text. She had to act fast. After signing out, she took a taxi to Eira's school, but she was already too late
"Some men in black came here to take her, they said it was your order"
Kaia recoiled, no it wasn't possible. Nothing will happen to her sister. She dialed Zayne's number, racing on the sidewalk.
"Hi princess, you finally called me" he chucked, she clenched her teeth.
"Where is my sister!!!!" she hissed,He didn't seem bothered. She could hear a lighter pop in the background, was he really going to smoke right now??
"I took her on a little vacation"
"Zayne…please just tell me where you are, please.
"You remembered my name princess"
"Please just….."
"My men will pick you up" he hung up, her face twisted. She'd make sure to teach him a lesson.

"Wifey" Zayne smirked, strolling toward Kaia, this time without the mask. She looked up, her eyes boring into him
"Where is she?" Her voice finally came in
"Bring her in" he ordered, his gaze fixed on Kaia. Eira was led into the room. She stretched her hands, grabbing her sister before she could reach her. Her eyes were bloodshot and she had gone pale.
"What'd you do to her you fuckin psycho!?" Kaia's ecognition dawned on her face.
" I didn't do anything I promise!!" He spat out the cigarette in his mouth with his hands up.
"I just wanted to see you, and she's bait" he admitted shamelessly
"I'll fuckin pay you your money….just don't target my sister, come after me….okay." tears shimmered in her eyes. Zayne's brows knitted, he reluctantly looked away from them and strode out.
"Sis, do you know him??" Eira asked, her head found its way to Kaia's shoulders.
"He's just a jerk, don't think about him" she muttered. Eira nodded and tightened her grip around Kaia
"Did he hurt you??" Kaia asked, her hands roaming around her sister's colorless, expressionless face
"I'm fine. He told me something, that we owed him. Is it true" Eira's lashes fluttered
Shit!!!?, this was the one thing she didn't want to tell anyone. But she might as well let her know.
"500 million dollars Eira" Kaia bowed her head. Eira's eyes widened
"What!!?" She placed a hand over her mouth "Even 10 years of work can't pay up that much" she mumbled.
"That would've been better than a two week deadline" Kaia chuckled indifferently
"Two weeks, for 500 million dollars??, that's cruel!"
"Eira, I know I've been keeping this from you, he proposed a contract marriage."
"Huh??"
"If I marry him, he'll clear off the debts, all of it"
"Sis…..do it! You can finally be free"
" Eira if I have plans to leave this house, we're doing it together"
"Forget about me Kaia, it's your life we're talking about here"
" I don't trust him, I'm not gonna do it".
Kaia paced back and forth, her mind racing. She subconsciously scratched the back of her neck and pinched herself.
He had threatened her again, this time with a voice record, and his voice vibrated at the end of each word, sending chills down her spines.
She flinched at everything, and she couldn't shake off the feeling that she was being watched. She worked two shifts, trying to pass away time, but that was probably her worst mistake. Zayne's car was outside the restaurant door, waiting for her. His men carried her like a pile of rubbish, dumping her at the back seat.
"Where are you psycho's taking me!?" She screamed, no one said anything. They drove into Zayne's villa and pulled over in the garage. Kaia was forced out of the car.
"Princess, did you miss me?" Zayne smirked, striding in, Kaia gritted her teeth, darting him a dirty look
"This doesn't look suitable for a wedding dress don't you think?"
"I'm not gonna marry you" she boomed
"Cash or card princess" he raised an eyebrow
"I…." she clutched her bag, her words hanging
"You don't even have a million do you??" He snorted
Kaia felt her heart racing as she tried to come up with a plan. She knew she had to think fast if she wanted to escape this situation. Suddenly, an idea popped into her head.
"I have something better than money," she said, her voice steady despite the fear coursing through her veins.
Zayne raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Oh? And what might that be?"
Kaia took a deep breath, steeling herself. "Information. I know things about you, Zayne. Things that could ruin you if they were to get out."
Zayne's smirk faltered for a moment, his eyes narrowing in suspicion. "What are you talking about?"
Kaia pressed on, hoping she was making the right move. "I know about your illegal dealings, your connections to the underworld. I have evidence that could put you behind bars for a long time."
Zayne's face darkened, and for a moment, Kaia feared she had pushed too far. But then, to her surprise, he chuckled.
"You're a clever one, aren't you?" he said, a dangerous glint in his eyes. "But do you really think you can outsmart me?"
Kaia held her breath, unsure of what his next move would be. But then, to her relief, he gestured to his men to release her.
"Fine," he said, a smile playing on his lips. "You've bought yourself some time. But remember, Kaia, I always get what I want in the end."
Kaia nodded, her heart still pounding in her chest as she walked out of the villa, knowing that she had narrowly escaped a dangerous situation. But she also knew that the game was far from over, and she would have to stay one step ahead of Zayne if she wanted to truly be free.

Kaia walked briskly out of the restaurant, tucking her hand into her white hoodie. She couldn't shake off the thought that someone was following her. She glanced over her shoulders at intervals, and then…..a loud thud…..
