Lucian left her and she ran to see the one calling her.
The next day, they had to go so Hazel bid farewell to Klara and Sera. They parted their ways.
"Lucian, the Crown Prince, are you coming with us?" said Irene.
"Yes, he is coming in the same carriage with Hazel," said the King.
I reached at the point of hating my father, but it was of no use.
"Are coming or you are still thinking about how to hate your father?" asked Lucian.
"But after sitting in the carriage, I remembered that the devils had the powers to read someone's mind," I thought.
"Yes true, your mother was a witch," he said after reading my mind.
So, about the marriage, you don't have another wife," asked Hazel trying to ignore him.
"No, I don't but I have mistresses," said Lucian.
I hate this moment I can't wait reaching home.
"Are you uncomfortable?" he asked after reading my mind.
"Yes, I am," I said trying to avoid him reading my mind.
As we were still talking when Lucian sensed something dangerous.
"Stop!!!, vampires are here," yelled Lucian.
They came to attack the witches not knowing Lucian is with them.
There was a ruler ruling them. He commanded them to attack. What filled my heart with fear is when Lucian changed into a devil with his red eyes, his nails elongated, and he would burn the vampires with his eyes.
I was unluck with my peeping, one of the vampires saw me and he came near to the carriage. As a princess, I was trained enough to save myself, I got out some of our soldiers were protecting the King and Queen. I started fighting according to Lucian, he was surprised because she thought I didn't know how to fight.
I fought and fought but the vampire was nearly to bite me, I got a vision seeing myself in a forest with beautiful creatures. I saw a woman who was young and beautiful, she had my eyes.
"Who are you?" I asked her.
"Hazel, this is not the time to introduce myself, you will know me," said the woman as she came close.
"Your tribe needs you and the enemy wants you," said the woman.
"What, how can I…?" asked Hazel in a confused voice.
"Use the light…light…," said the woman as she disappeared.
Hazel shined brighter and her eyes, hair burning all the vampires around. After killing them, she fell on the ground.
"What is wrong with her?" asked Lucian.
"This light is not for the witches, unless she is an angel," asked Lucian still confused on what he had seen.
They took Hazel home. She rested for two days and woke up on the 3rd day.
"Are you okay?" asked Irene.
"Yes, mother I am," said as I tried to get off of the bed.
"What happened?" I asked.
"You used much power, and you fainted," said Irene.
"Okay. First take a shower," said Irene as she left.
I showered and after preparing myself, I went downstairs. As I was coming, I met Lucian.
"You, what are you doing here?" asked Hazel.
"Prince Lucian wanted to wait until you wake up so that he can go," said Irene.
"So, is he leaving?" I asked that in my mind.
"Prince Lucian, first take breakfast before you go," requested the Queen (Irene).
We sat on the dining table to take our breakfast. I could sense Lucian's gaze on me.
After eating the Queen and the King left us,
"Are you now fine?" asked Lucian.
"Yes," I replied simply.
When we were walking, I saw a wound on Lucian's hand.
"Lucian, you have a wound," asked Hazel while holding his hand.
"It's okay, I will be fine," said Lucian in an assuring voice.
I kept quiet for sometimes and I broke the silence with a question.
"How beautiful is your kingdom?" I asked him.
"Why?" asked.
