"Hazel, open your eyes," said Lucian.
I obeyed him. I opened my eyes; I saw those burning eyes of his, always beautiful. I love his eyes.
"Hazel, he again called my name in a calm voice then continued. " I know you are not ready but I assured to never hurt and kiss your knuckles.
For that moment, I wish he could do more than speaking but I was not ready to handle all of this.
"Let's sleep," he said.
I dressed up in my night gown and went to sleep.
"Hazel, can you turn to me," Lucian said.
I turned and saw him. After some moments, he placed his arms around my waist. I slept off.
In my dream , l dreamt a woman giving birth after l saw a man l could not recognize them well . Then I could hear the man yelling that run.
I immediately woke up all sweating. Lucian also woke up.
"Is it a bad dream?" he asked.
I nodded. He wrapped me in his arms and felt asleep again.
In the morning, I found Lucian not there. I went to bathroom, the maids were already there. I bathed and after I wore… I went and found some guards outside.
"Where is His highness?" I asked one of the guards.
"His highness has gone to see the king" he replied.
"Is everything fine?" I asked him back.
"No your highness, the king is deeply ill," he said.
Now I remembered when Mother and Father told to get married to Lucian before the king is dead. Lucian has to fight his enemies before they come to take the throne.
I was so worried, so I went to my room. I was still confused.
"To the Vampire kingdom,"
"The king is dying soon father" said Leon Pierre
"That means we have to strike as soon as possible," said Peter.
"But that kingdom is powerful we can't just go there, we have to get some people to spy for us first," said Pierre.
"You are right Pierre," said the King Leon.
"I can help" a sudden appearance to see behind them, it was a beautiful girl
"Hamel, my beautiful daughter" said the King.
"Yes Father," she said while passing besides Pierre.
"Father, I can help you because I know how to protect myself and no vampire can dare to attack me," she said while starring at her brother.
"Father, she will get us in trouble," said Pierre.
"Look Father, I am good at spying" said Hamel in an assuring tone.
"Okay you will go together" ordered the king.

She was still in thoughts, when she heard a man beside her. To turn around, it was Lucian.
"How did you get here?" I asked in surprise
"Remember I am a demon," Lucian said.
"So tell me wife, why are you in deep thoughts?" asked Lucian with a questioning face.
"Well, I have heard that the king your father is ..."said Hazel before finishing Lucian added going to die."
"My father would be happy to see you tomorrow," he said while removing his royal coat.
I kept starring at him but he sensed it and turned to me.
"Do you need something?" he asked while getting closer to me.
"Yes...No …" I said shimmering.
"You see, Hazel the time when you agree to be mine, I will do everything that I am yarning to do to you all the wicked things a man does to his wife" he said while caressing my hair.
I felt my legs could no longer support my body. I kept remembering his words echoing in my ears. He continued and planted wet kisses on my body. But suddenly he stopped and looked aside I never understood why but I thought he was disgusted by me.
"Are you alright" I asked him.
He never said a word but he walked away. I felt sharp pain in my heart. I felt disgusted by myself. That night I cried but Lucian never came back. I wondered whether I am not beautiful as I thought or whether he went to his mistress. That night I slept as well.
In the morning,
I woke up as usual, took a shower and my breakfast but the day past and week also past but Lucian was nowhere to be seen.
