Chapter 15 - The Break, The Result, and The Beginning of the Comeback

Just when Abhiram thought the second semester struggles were enough, life decided to test him in a different way.

One evening, while traveling, an unexpected accident happened. It wasn't something life-threatening, but it injured his left leg badly enough that he couldn't attend college normally. Walking became painful, traveling became impossible, and for the first time in months, Abhiram was forced to slow down.

He took medical leave.

At first, the leave felt frustrating. College classes continued without him, lessons moved forward, and he feared falling behind again. But slowly, he realized that this forced pause also gave him something rare — time to think.

While resting at home during his medical leave, Abhiram continued something he had started casually before: creating reels on Instagram.

At first, it was just creativity — small jokes, relatable reels, and more that students connected with. But suddenly, something surprising happened.

His content started spreading rapidly.

Views increased.

Followers grew.

Posts started reaching more people than he had ever imagined.

Slowly but steadily, Abhiram became known among many users as a successful content creator. His posts were shared, laughed at, and appreciated by people he had never even met.

But this time, unlike before, he didn't let it consume him.

He kept reminding himself: this is expression, not distraction.

And then another exciting opportunity appeared.

A singer noticed his work, and Abhiram began thinking about a possible collaboration after the second semester. It was something he had never imagined during the dark days of CA test failures.

Life was showing him something important:

Even when one door closes, another door quietly opens somewhere else.

During his medical leave, the first semester results were finally released.

Abhiram opened the result page slowly, his heart beating faster than usual.

He already expected some failures. The semester had been chaotic — travel problems, health issues, stress, and weak basics.

And the result confirmed it.

He had arrears in three subjects:

• Chemistry

• Mathematics

• Python

For a few seconds, he stared at the screen.

But strangely, he didn't panic.

Because the two subjects he feared the most — Biotechnology and Physics — showed something different.

Pass.

That one word removed a huge weight from his mind.

Those were the subjects he thought he might fail for sure, but somehow he cleared them.

Abhiram leaned back and took a deep breath.

Yes, he had arrears.

But they were subjects he believed he could clear easily in arrear exams. They weren't impossible mountains anymore — just hurdles.

Instead of feeling defeated, he thought calmly:

"This is manageable. I can fix this."

His leg was still healing.

His semester was still challenging.

His arrears were still waiting.

But something inside him had changed.

The boy who once panicked at failure was gone.

Now there was someone different — someone who had experienced:

failure,

loneliness,

travel struggles,

health problems,

academic setbacks,

and emotional pressure.

And yet… he was still standing.

Now his real comeback journey was about to begin.

Not just for marks. Not just for college.

But for the life he wanted to build beyond all these struggles.

He looked at his notebook again and wrote one simple line:

"Failures are temporary. My comeback is permanent."

And with that thought, Abhiram prepared himself for the next phase — stronger, wiser, and ready to rewrite his story.
