Chapter 2 - Chapter 1: There Is a Folk Culture Shop

Bending left and right, she turned into the alley and found the shop named: 'There is a Folk Culture Supplies Store'.

She shook her head quietly, no wonder business was bad. In this day and age, who still believes in this stuff?

Though she said that, Mu Yunchu still dutifully tidied up the dusty place, and the antique-looking shop finally looked a bit cleaner.

Just as she finished tidying, the lawyer came with the documents.

After signing the inheritance agreement, this shop had officially become hers.

But along with the real estate certificate handed to Mu Yunchu, there was also a loan contract.

It clearly stated that her master owed the bank two million, principal with interest.

The deadline for repayment was just three months away.

Mu Yunchu: "..."

The lawyer glanced at her, a girl not even graduated yet, exchanged a look with the person beside him, and suddenly said, "Miss Mu, times are tough for business now. I suggest you sell the shop."

He remembered the instructions from the person behind him, but he was also speaking the truth.

For an ordinary girl, managing a shop like this is no easy task.

It would just lead to more and more debt.

The agent beside him quickly chimed in, "I just happen to have a buyer. As long as you're willing to sell, she is willing to pay a high price of five hundred thousand."

This property resembles an ancient courtyard, with a shop in the front and two two-story buildings in the back.

But even with large space, it couldn't fetch a high price because the land wasn't very good.

Mu Yunchu had already seen through their true intentions, calmly took a sip of tea.

"I'm sorry."

"I won't sell."

Her refusal was very direct.

This was the place her master had spent half a lifetime guarding, and Mu Yunchu intended to manage it well.

The two men exchanged a glance.

It seemed this girl wasn't as easy to fool as they had thought.

They could only raise the offer a few more times.

But unexpectedly, Mu Yunchu rejected them all.

The 'agent's' face gradually turned red, unable to keep his composure.

"Young lady, don't refuse a toast only to drink a forfeit."

"This IOU is due in three months. After the deadline, the bank will come and auction the property. Then we'll buy it at an even lower price."

"We also have ways to make your stay unpleasant!"

He thought his fierceness would intimidate Mu Yunchu.

But surprisingly, the latter remained calm.

She paused and then spoke words that shocked them.

"Oh really?"

"The premise is that your company will still exist in three months."

Agent: !!!

Mu Yunchu's lips curved slightly, her eyes fearlessly locking onto the two, her gentle demeanor sharp and piercing.

The 'agent's' gaze flickered, somewhat intimidated.

He couldn't understand what kind of trick she was playing.

How could such a big company possibly not exist?

Seeing that threats and bribes weren't working, the agent could only leave with a harsh remark before going.

"Just you wait, let's see how you pay off this two million in three months!"

...

After sending them off, Mu Yunchu made a phone call to verify the debt with the bank.

Apparently, it was a debt her master incurred three months ago, using the shop's land as collateral.

Two million is a huge amount, and no one knows what he bought with it.

Just as she was about to hang up the call, she learned of another matter.

Her master had left something for her in a bank safe deposit box.

The condition was that she could only get it after repaying the debt.

She furrowed her brows almost imperceptibly.

Because it was related to her master, it was the first time she considered calculating something about herself.

Closing her eyes, symbols of the Heavenly Mechanism flashed in her mind. But after a few seconds, she suddenly opened her eyes.

In her usually calm eyes, there was a flicker of shock.

She had been placed under some kind of 'restriction'!

Preventing her from seeing or calculating what the deposit box contained.

Mu Yunchu: "..."

Looks like she just had to earn money honestly for now.

...

After running the shop for two days with zero sales, she suddenly wondered how her master managed to earn enough for her tuition under such circumstances.

The shop's income fell short of expenses, and various furniture and facilities often broke down. Yesterday, when she just pressed the flush button, the toilet lid broke directly. Even when she slept at night, the fan in the room was left with only two blades. She was very afraid the next moment it would take off.

She really didn't know where he had spent the two million he borrowed.

Looks like she needed to think of other ways, at least promoting the shop to earn some money. Otherwise, at this rate, she would starve to death here before repaying the debt.

Mu Yunchu calculated, she only had a few hundred yuan left, which had to cover living expenses. If only there was a way to advertise without cost...

Hearing some noise at the entrance, she peeked out and saw the boss across the street setting up a stall, holding a phone over the table, and occasionally saying things like: Thank you for your support.

Before she could see clearly, she was attracted by two couples walking hand in hand, one after the other.

Seeing them, Mu Yunchu raised an eyebrow, then examined them closely.

The shop opposite sold wedding supplies, red and cheerful, looking splendid from afar.

It wasn't hard to guess; these two were likely a couple about to marry.

The shopkeeper was enthusiastically introducing products, packing a heap of goods into their bags, both parties smiling broadly.

"You two are the most perfectly matched couple I've ever seen, just made for each other."

"This is just perfect to decorate your new home…"

The couple was quick to purchase, taking anything good without hesitation, spending thousands effortlessly.

"Thank you both, I wish you a long and happy married life and lots of children soon," the store owner's tone grew more sincere.

The couple shyly thanked him and were about to turn away, only to notice Mu Yunchu standing behind them.

She observed their faces, speaking in a very grave tone, "You cannot get married."

The couple: ?

"If you marry now, one of you will inevitably die."

The couple: !!!
