Julian Fairchild's voice was low as he lifted his gaze to look at her, "Nothing, so you're hitting up your ex-boyfriends for fun?"

So her feeling was right, Julian Fairchild was indeed acting strange.
He's definitely jealous.
She met the man's searching gaze helplessly, "Apart from asking them for help, I haven't said a single unnecessary word."

"Go take a shower first." He lifted Maeve and placed her in the bathroom, "I've got a robe ready for you."
Saying that, he somehow produced a small hair tie, turned her around by holding her shoulders, and then bent down to tie her hair up.
Maeve touched the bun at the back with her hand and laughed, "Your skills are getting better and better."
"So, you have to keep an eye on me."
