The first mission involved celestial beings and Buddhas, far beyond consideration. The latter two missions were more suited to Uchiha Kazuhiko's current strength. After brief consideration, he selected the second mission with the better reward and initiated transport to the mission spacetime.

After a momentary sensation of weightlessness, Uchiha Kazuhiko materialized in a room adorned in classical antique style. Identity information instantly flowed into his consciousness.

Host background modified to: Heyan, young master of the ancient Chiyou clan. To secure a stable living environment for his clansmen, he reported intelligence on Loulan and the War God to the Great Qin Empire. He is currently traveling to Loulan alongside Gongshu Chou, Wei Zhuang, and others dispatched by Qin Shi Huang.

Current time point: First day at the garrison commander's residence in a border town on the outskirts of the Loulan desert.

After processing the identity details arranged by the system, Uchiha Kazuhiko pushed the door open and stepped out. Within moments, he spotted a sharp-featured, weasel-faced soldier from the garrison rushing toward him, breathing heavily.

Uchiha Kazuhiko recognized him after a moment's scrutiny this was the lackey deputy general who followed General Fruit in the original storyline.

The deputy general approached Uchiha Kazuhiko with an obsequious manner. "Lord Heyan, Lord Gongshu requests your presence in the main hall of the garrison residence," he said in a flattering tone.

"Lead the way," Uchiha Kazuhiko replied, unfamiliar with the layout and needing guidance.

"Certainly, my lord. This way, please," the deputy responded eagerly, thrilled at the chance to serve someone from the capital. He bowed deeply and scurried ahead to guide the way.

Within minutes, they reached the heavily guarded main hall of the garrison residence.

Inside, a Qin soldier in black armor knelt on one knee, reporting to Gongshu Chou who sat listening.

"Lord Heyan, please proceed. Your subordinate takes his leave," the deputy said, bowing again before retreating quickly, not permitted to enter unbidden.

Uchiha Kazuhiko entered the hall to find not only Gongshu Chou but also two Yin-Yang School elders assigned as his protectors: Da Siming and Shao Siming.

Noticing Uchiha Kazuhiko's arrival, Gongshu Chou dismissed the soldier with a wave and rose from his seat to approach.

"Young brother Heyan, we've located the hermitage of that Loulan envoy, Old Man Lü. Would you care to accompany us to investigate?" Gongshu Chou asked, stroking his small white beard with a deceptively benign smile.

"Naturally. The Dragon Soul should be in his possession," Uchiha Kazuhiko confirmed, recalling the plot of the Qin's Moon movie he'd watched with colleagues. He knew Old Man Lü held the key to activating the War God the Dragon Soul hidden within the mythical beast Pixiu.

"Excellent. Then let us depart immediately," Gongshu Chou agreed, leading the way. Da Siming and Shao Siming glanced curiously at Uchiha Kazuhiko before following.

Soon they reached an isolated courtyard in the southern part of the border town. A Qin soldier monitoring the area hurried over to report: "Sir, a child has entered the surveillance zone. Should we remove him?"

"No. Old Man Lü's mechanical arts are sophisticated. Let the child serve as our scout," Gongshu Chou declined, his eyes glinting as he studied the sealed house. The Empire's intelligence had thoroughly documented Old Man Lü's mechanical prowess, and while confident in his own skills, Gongshu preferred caution.

As anticipated, the child Tianming, the story's protagonist pushed open the door only to be seized by mechanical arms inside. A spinning metal drill bit shot toward his head, but at the last moment Old Man Lü disengaged the mechanism, saving him.

Hearing the mechanical sounds from within, Gongshu Chou chuckled darkly. To Uchiha Kazuhiko's astonishment, he opened a bronze chest carried by soldiers, releasing hundreds of small mechanical lizards the ingenious "Earth Breaker Seven" constructs.

"Young brother Heyan, would you be so kind as to destroy this wooden door? It will grant these little ones access to Old Man Lü's chamber," Gongshu Chou requested, his true purpose being to gauge Uchiha Kazuhiko's capabilities.

"Consider it done," Uchiha Kazuhiko replied, selecting the visually impressive Dragon Fire Technique to demonstrate his power. He spewed flames that consumed the wooden door in moments.

"Magnificent! Young brother Heyan truly lives up to being the Chiyou clan's scion. Your power is exceptional," Gongshu Chou praised, genuinely impressed by the materialization of energy into flame a feat comparable to the Yin-Yang School elders.

Uchiha Kazuhiko acknowledged the compliment with a slight smile, then stepped back as Gongshu Chou raised his mechanical arm.

"Go, my little ones. Destroy all mechanisms within," he commanded the Earth Breaker Sevens.

The mechanical lizards swarmed through the breached doorway, infiltrating wall cracks and systematically dismantling every trap Old Man Lü had prepared.

Only after neutralizing all threats did Gongshu Chou, protected by the two Yin-Yang guardians, enter the room with Uchiha Kazuhiko.
