Chapter 187 - 《DXD: Multiverse Journey》Chapter 187: The Nun’s Ultimate Temptation—A Date with Tohka

After clearing the dishes, Shuo emerged from the kitchen, his gaze landing squarely on Nia. He sighed, exasperated.

"Nia, I know you're technically an adult, but could you at least try to drink less? There's a time and place."

Nia burped, waving him off. "Yeah, yeah, I get it. You're such a nag, boy."

She said it, but the bottle didn't leave her lips. Shuo just shook his head. Months of gentle persuasion from him and Kotori had done nothing. If Nia was a lost cause, he'd stop wasting his breath.

Afternoon in Tengu City.

A young couple strolled along the bustling shopping street—Shuo and Tohka, arms full of shopping bags. With Tohka moving in, Kotori had suggested they pick up some essentials. Shuo agreed, using the errand as an excuse for a date.

Yet, even as a Spirit, was the female love of shopping truly endless? Shuo watched Tohka bounce ahead, eyes shining with excitement. He shifted the bags in his hands and couldn't help but smile.

Tohka jogged, her gaze darting everywhere, soaking in the sights.

"Wow! Is this how humans live? I've never seen anything like it!"

Her joy was infectious; everything fascinated her. Suddenly, a colorful butterfly fluttered down, landing right on her nose.

Tohka froze, eyes wide. She watched the butterfly for a moment, then slowly raised her hands—then clapped them together, trying to catch it.

SMACK.

The butterfly was long gone. Tohka was left clutching her nose, tears welling up in her eyes as she whimpered, "Owwww! It hurts!"

Shuo couldn't help it—he burst out laughing, his voice warm and teasing.

"Ara ara! Our Princess Tohka tries to catch a butterfly and ends up whacking her own nose. Poor thing, crying from the pain!"

Tohka spun on him, cheeks flushed with indignation.

"Shuo, you jerk! How dare you laugh at me!"

She stomped her foot—hard. The ground cracked, fissures snaking outward.

"Whoa, whoa! Tohka, easy! Calm down, princess!"

Shuo's face twitched. He'd cut off Tohka's connection to the neighboring world and put up protective wards to keep bystanders safe, but her raw power was still intact. Lucky for him, the street was mostly empty after the morning's spacequake. Otherwise, she'd have been labeled a monster.

"Stupid Shuo, I'm gonna bite you to death!"

She ignored his pleas, lunging at him like a hungry tiger. Shuo toppled, the scent of her hair washing over him—then Tohka sank her teeth into his neck, fierce as a kitten.

"Ah—Tohka, let go! I surrender! I was wrong!"

Her bite didn't hurt in the slightest, but Shuo played along, groaning in mock pain. Poor, innocent girl—she didn't even realize he was enjoying every second.

Hearing his plea, Tohka straightened, pride shining in her eyes.

"Hmph! Bad Shuo, will you dare laugh at me again?"

As her scent faded, Shuo found himself missing it. He put on a show of fear.

"No way! Never again! My Princess Tohka is the strongest!"

Tohka beamed, her mood restored.

"Good. But how do you plan to make it up to me?"

Easy. Everyone knew Tohka was a bottomless pit—feed her and all was forgiven. If one meal wasn't enough, two would do.

"I'll take you for kinako bread and ice cream!"

"Kinako bread! Really? Hurry, let's go!"

Tohka's eyes sparkled, mouth practically watering as she tugged Shuo toward the bakery.

A few minutes later—

"Boss, uh… Give me fifty—no, a hundred kinako breads."

The baker stared, dumbfounded.

"A hundred? Are you sure you can eat that much?"

Shuo grinned, glancing at Tohka, who was eyeing the bread like a predator.

"Don't worry, sir. We've got big appetites."

The baker shrugged and packed them up. Shuo paid, then—under the man's astonished gaze—tucked the bags away in his system space and led Tohka off. They grabbed a giant tub of ice cream on the way home.

Every few steps, Shuo handed Tohka another bread. Within minutes, he checked his system space—empty. He stared at Tohka in awe.

She blinked back, crumbs dusting her lips.

"What's wrong, Shuo?"

He sighed, pulling out a tissue.

"Nothing. You've got crumbs everywhere—let me clean you up."

He'd underestimated her. Next time, he'd buy a thousand.

Tohka spooned up a mouthful of ice cream, her smile pure and sweet.

"Shuo, this cold stuff is delicious! Try some!"

She offered him a bite, and Shuo tasted it.

"Not bad. Sweet—like your lips."

To thank her for sharing, he leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to her mouth.

Tohka's cheeks went scarlet. She jumped back, heart pounding.

"Wha—sneaky thief! That's cheating!"

Shuo chuckled.

"Couldn't help myself. You're just too cute, Tohka."

"Stupid Shuo!"

She bolted for home, flustered and giddy.

Shuo watched her go, grinning. "Definitely sweet."

Back home, Nia latched onto Shuo, begging for her phone. He ignored her, teaming up with Tohka, Kotori, Reine, and Shiori for a five-player game.

Nia had tried borrowing phones from the other girls, hoping to sneak in some manga or games, but Shuo's spells blocked everything except calls.

"Boy, don't ignore me! If you give me my phone back, I'll even kiss you—please, please…"

Shuo didn't even blink. He wasn't falling for that. Maybe, just maybe, she'd come up with something better.

Nia pouted, defeated.

"Fine! You forced me!"

"Astral Dress—Second Form!"

With a dramatic shout, Nia transformed. All eyes turned her way—including Shuo's.

She wore a nun's habit—semi-transparent, ink-black, adorned with pens and a cross. Most of her pale skin was visible, along with the unmistakable line of black panties.

The ultimate uniform temptation. Shuo felt his blood rush.

Nia caught his reaction and grinned wickedly. She placed one foot on Shuo's thigh, hiked up the slit of her habit, and leaned in, her eyes gleaming.

"Boy, want to go further? Want the perfect me? Just hand over my phone…"

Before Shuo could reply, a chorus of voices cut in.

"I won't let you have Shuo!"

"Nia, you idiot, what are you doing?!"

Tohka clung to Shuo's arm, eyes fierce. Kotori bit through her lollipop, cheeks tinged pink. Shiori's face burned, unable to look. Only Reine remained unruffled, her gaze blank.

Shuo swallowed hard. The room's energy shifted—awkward, heavy, and full of accusation.

The girls stared, their looks a mix of disbelief and disdain.

"You perv. All you ever think about is H stuff—creep."

Kotori's voice was sharp, and for once, Shuo couldn't find a comeback.
