"Ginny's doing great. She's in the inner chambers right now, playing with the kids,"
Kuma said with a broad smile. "Come on—I'll take you to see her."
As he spoke, Kuma naturally draped an arm around Shiro's shoulder and started walking toward the royal chambers. The smile on his face was pure and childlike, brimming with happiness he made no effort to hide.
"…Kids?"
Shiro froze for a moment, then stared at Kuma in disbelief, eyes wide with delight.
"You and Ginny already have children?!"
"Of course!" Kuma laughed.
"We've been married for six years now. She gave birth to a son and a daughter—both of them are incredibly lively."
The moment he mentioned his children, Kuma's gaze softened completely. His voice brimmed with warmth and pride, as if he were speaking of the most precious treasures in the world.
"That's amazing news,"
Shiro said with a heartfelt smile. Inside, he couldn't help but feel deeply moved.
So it really changed…
Kuma and Ginny's tragedy has been completely rewritten. They finally get to live peaceful, happy lives.
After a brief pause, Shiro asked curiously,
"Then what are their names? I bet they're adorable."
"My son's called Little Bear—his full name is Bartholomew Kuma the Second. He's five years old and a real handful.
My daughter's name is Bartholomew Bonney, she's three. Bright, energetic—both of them are unbelievably cute!"
Kuma beamed, clearly very satisfied with the names he'd chosen.
Shiro's mouth twitched slightly.
…That naming sense is painfully straightforward.
'Little Bear' for the son, and Bonney just straight-up reused…
Still, he didn't say anything. The affection behind the names mattered far more than elegance.
A couple of minutes later, they arrived outside the royal chambers.
Before they even entered, the clear, energetic voices of children rang out from inside.
"Hey! Don't run! I'm Pirate King Roger! I'm gonna conquer the seas and become the strongest pirate ever!"
"No fair, big brother!" a girl protested.
"You promised it was my turn to be Pirate King this time! Stop stealing my role!"
Shiro chuckled, curiosity piqued, and followed Kuma inside.
Two small children in little coats were running around the carpet, laughing and chasing each other. The boy led the charge, the girl close behind—filling the room with pure, innocent joy.
The boy was noticeably sturdier than most kids his age. His round face and tall build resembled Kuma unmistakably. But unlike his father's gentle demeanor, his eyes were sharp and competitive—clearly brimming with stubborn ambition.
The girl, meanwhile, had soft pink hair and a petite frame. Her big, grape-like eyes sparkled with life, and it was obvious at a glance that she'd inherited Ginny's beauty and liveliness.
The moment they saw Kuma, both children stopped running.
"Daddy!"
"Daddy's back!"
They rushed over on their tiny legs.
Laughing, Kuma crouched down and easily hoisted both of them onto his broad shoulders—one on each side. The motion was smooth and practiced, clearly something he did often.
Ginny, who had been organizing clothes nearby, turned at the commotion. Seeing Kuma, she immediately hurried over.
"Dear, I heard some noise from the palace earlier," she asked with concern.
"Did something happen? Everything okay?"
"It's nothing," Kuma replied gently, looking at her with eyes full of affection.
"Just an old friend dropping by. I brought him to see you—and the kids."
"An old friend?" Ginny blinked.
"Don't tell me—it's Ivankov? He said he'd visit again someday."
"Not quite," Kuma said, grinning.
He stepped aside dramatically, revealing Shiro behind him.
"Take a look."
Ginny followed his gaze. When she saw the tall, blond young man standing there, she froze. She stared for several seconds—then slowly raised a trembling finger.
"…Y-You're… little Shiro?"
"Yes, Ginny," Shiro said warmly, stepping forward.
"It's me. How have you been?"
Ginny had lost the girlish awkwardness of her youth. She now carried the gentle elegance of a grown woman, her features more refined, her presence radiating the warmth of motherhood.
"…It really is you!"
She suddenly squealed, rushing forward and pulling Shiro into a tight hug, patting his arms excitedly.
"I can't believe it! Look at you—you've grown into such a handsome young man! I almost didn't recognize you!"
"Ginny—please—"
Shiro laughed awkwardly, trying to ease out of her grip.
"Kuma's right here! He might get mad!"
"Oh, relax!" Ginny waved it off cheerfully.
"He wouldn't care about something like that. We're old friends—what's wrong with being a little enthusiastic?"
She shot Kuma a playful glance.
"Right, dear?"
"Hahaha, that's right," Kuma laughed, scratching the back of his head.
"Don't mind her, Shiro. Ginny's always been like this—lively and affectionate. I'm used to it."
"…I see."
Shiro looked at the couple, utterly speechless for a moment.
So that's why people joked about 'Cuckold Kuma' in the original timeline…
Ginny really does give off that kind of misunderstanding-prone energy.
But then he smiled.
Still… this is better.
As long as they're happy—that's all that matters.
