Kacy entered the board room and set her tin bucket on the carpet. The television hung on the wall.
The reporter on the news station said, "A man named Felix Venner saved Jacob Kennedy the ruler of Technate. Rocks from the mountain slide crushed his car. His driver died, but Jacob survived the crash."
Kacy's mouth dropped open, as she dropped her rag on the tigerwood floor.
The news reporter said, "As a way of thanking him, Jacob invited Felix to the parliament building."
Kacy smiled watching Felix following Jacob in the hallways of the parliament building. The black and gold marble floor sparkled against the golden wallpaper.
The television screen went black. Kacy turned her head to look at Lolita's scowling face.
"You're supposed to be cleaning not watching television!" Lolita snapped.
"I'm sorry. It's just I was so happy when I saw my brother on the television screen. Now, I know he's alive-"
"I don't care about your brother!" Lolita interrupted. "Now, get back to work or else I'll kick your ass out of my castle!"
Kacy grabbed her rag and drenched it in the warm water from the bucket. Lolita stormed out of the boardroom and entered the hallway.
