Chapter 3 - Episode 3:- new school

The school gates loomed tall and wide, filled with students in neat uniforms, chatting and laughing as they walked inside. Luna's grip tightened on her bag straps, her palms a little sweaty. It's fine… it's just school… don't panic, she told herself.

Inside the campus, everything felt new—the bright hallways, the crowded notice boards, the echo of footsteps against the polished floors. Students in groups looked so familiar with each other, while Luna walked alone, trying to appear confident.

Her homeroom teacher welcomed her warmly and introduced her to the class.

"This is Luna. She just moved here from another town. I hope you all treat her kindly."

Luna bowed politely, and lips parted, ready to introduce herself politely, but before a single word could escape

"Teacher, why is a kindergarten student in our class?"

The voice rang loud, playful, and mocking. The whole class burst into laughter.

Luna froze, eyes wide, then slowly turned her head in every direction, trying to spot the culprit. Who dared…? Just wait—I'll throw him out of the universe.

"Niki! Behave yourself." The teacher's sharp tone cut through the laughter.

Luna blinked. Niki? she mumbled under her breath, her eyebrows knitting together. So that's the clown's name…

Taking a deep breath, she lifted her chin and introduced herself, voice steady and surprisingly confident despite the chaos:

"Hello, I'm Luna. I just moved here, and I'll be joining from today. nice to Meet you all."

The teacher smiled,. "Very well. Luna, you can take the empty seat at the back—next to Niki."

Luna's face dropped. What kind of punishment is this?

Dragging her feet reluctantly, she made her way to the last bench. her eyes caught a boy sitting there. His arm rested lazily on the desk, his hand propping up his cheek as he watched me. Strands of black hair fell messily across his eyebrows, half-covering his deep eyes. How can he even see through that? she wondered, trying not to stare.

Then, as if he heard my thoughts, he pushed his hair back slightly with his fingers. For a brief second, his full face came into view. "I can't lie—he was so handsome" she mumbled "I guess this clown must be niki"

As she sat down beside him, he leaned closer and whispered just loud enough for her to hear:

"Kindergarten girl, huh? Don't worry—I'll teach you how to survive high school."

Luna turned her head slowly, plastering the sweetest, fakest smile on her face.

"Say one more word, and I'll teach you how to survive without teeth."

Niki's chuckled, clearly entertained instead of offended. "Ohhh, feisty. This year is going to be fun."

Luna groaned inwardly. Great. First day of school, and I'm already stuck with a clown.

The teacher clapped her hands to settle the class down.

"Alright, enough noise. Niki," she said firmly, "since you're the class representative, I want you to guide Luna around the school. Show her the classrooms, the library, and where to get her lunch. Understood?"

Niki raised an eyebrow, clearly not expecting this responsibility. "Me?" He pointed at himself dramatically. "Teacher, are you sure? She might get lost following me—"

"Niki." The teacher's glare shut him up immediately.

He clicked his tongue and leaned back in his chair, muttering, "Tch, lucky me."

Luna turned her head toward him, her lips twitching. Lucky? More like unlucky—for me.

After class, as soon as the bell rang, Niki stood up lazily and stretched. "Alright, kindergarten girl, follow your dependable class rep." He gave her a cheeky wink.

Luna crossed her arms. "I'd rather get lost than follow you."

Niki smirked and started walking toward the door. "Suit yourself. But when you're crying in the hallway, don't come looking for me."

Grinding her teeth, Luna grabbed her bag and followed anyway, muttering under her breath, "I'll survive this tour without murdering him… hopefully

She followed him through the hallway, her eyes darting everywhere—the wide windows, the decorated bulletin boards, groups of students chatting and laughing.

"This is the library," Niki said casually, pointing with his thumb. "Quietest place in the whole building. Might suit someone small like you—people won't even notice you there."

Luna narrowed her eyes. "I'm not that small, you know."

He chuckled under his breath, clearly enjoying teasing her. "If you say so."

They walked on, past classrooms and toward the gym. "That's the gymnasium. Big events, sports, assemblies… basically the place you'll stand on tiptoe if you ever want to see the stage."

"Keep talking and I will stand on your toes," she muttered, making him laugh for real this time.

For a moment, Luna forgot her nerves. The school felt new, exciting, and full of possibilities—even if her guide was annoyingly handsome and endlessly teasing.

Niki pushed open the cafeteria door and leaned against the frame.

"And this," he said with exaggerated importance, "is where students spend all their allowance money on bread and snacks. I'm warning you now—if you don't move fast, everything sells out in five minutes."

Luna peeked inside, impressed by the busy scene, then crossed her arms.

"Five minutes? What are we, hungry wolves?"

He grinned. "Exactly. And you… you look like the type who'll end up with just plain milk while the rest of us get cream bread."

Her eyes widened. "Excuse me? I'm faster than you think!"

"Uh-huh." He walked ahead, hands in his pockets, clearly entertained. "We'll test that tomorrow."

Luna huffed but followed, making a mental note: I am not losing bread to this guy.

They circled back toward the classroom, and Niki slowed his pace just a little. For the first time, his tone softened.

"Don't worry, you'll get used to this place soon. Everyone's… loud, but they're not bad."

Luna blinked at him, a little surprised by his sudden sincerity. But before she could reply, he smirked again.

"Still, don't expect me to babysit you forever, kindergarten student."

Her fists clenched, but instead of snapping, she smiled sweetly.

"Thanks for the tour, mr.clown."

Niki froze, then smirk ." you don't know yet what this clown going to do."

they both enter into class

As Luna stepped back into the classroom with Niki, she instantly felt the shift in the air. Eyes turned, whispers fluttered, and her gaze fell on his desk—stacked with juice boxes, soda cans, and pastel-colored envelopes.

Her breath hitched. So this guy… is basically a prince here?

Girls at the front row leaned toward each other, giggling, some sneaking glances at Luna like she was a trespasser in enemy territory. One girl give a look like: Don't you dare steal him from us.

Before Luna could react, three girls broke from the crowd, walking toward her with the kind of psitive.Their steps were in perfect sync,

The tallest one, with sleek dark hair and striking eyes, smiled first.

"Hi, you must be Luna, right? I'm Nicola." Her tone was warm, but her presence felt magnetic, like someone used to being admired.

Beside her, a girl with sharp features and confidence radiating from her posture tilted her head. "Nemesis. Don't mind the name—it fits me, though." Her smirk carried a hint of challenge.

The third girl, with soft curls and a sweet aura, stepped closer with an almost angelic smile. "And I'm Jeanette. Welcome to our class, Luna."

Luna blinked, overwhelmed but curious. They didn't seem unfriendly, just… sweet.

"Uh, nice to meet you all," she said, mustering her bold side with a smile.

Nicola exchanged a glance with Nemesis, then looked back at Luna.

"Since you're new, we thought we'd introduce ourselves. People will… talk a lot around here. But don't worry—we'll make sure you don't get lost in the noise."

Behind them, Niki leaned against his desk, arms crossed, watching them . and went back to his group of his friends
