Chapter 5 - Episode 5:- movie night with him

When Luna came back home, her grandmother welcomed her with kisses, and her mom said, "Go wash up, I'll serve you some fruits."

As Luna went upstairs, she noticed Haru's half-closed door. Her heart lifted instantly—he was here.

She quickly freshened up, combed her hair, and slipped into a white skirt and baby pink top.

When she went downstairs, her mom handed her a plate of fruits and said, "Take these to Haru." Luna replied with a cheerful "Okay!"—finally, a reason to talk to him.

She went back upstairs and knocked on his door. The door opened slowly, but it wasn't by itself—Haru was the one who opened it.

When Haru saw Luna, his lips curved into a gentle smile, and he stepped aside to welcome her in. Luna's heart fluttered at the gesture as she walked inside, holding the plate carefully.

"Mom gave these fruits for you," she said softly, placing them on the table.

Haru didn't just take the plate—he looked at her for a moment before sliding it back toward her with a small grin. "Thanks, but you should share them with me too," he said, his voice calm yet warm.

Then, without a second thought, he pulled a chair out for her. "Sit," he insisted gently.

Luna sat down, her white skirt brushing lightly against the chair's edge, while ,

Haru paused the movie playing on his laptop, turning toward Luna with an easy smile. "So… how was school?" he asked casually.

Luna opened her mouth to answer, but her eyes landed on the screen—and instantly froze. Her words twisted in her throat as she blurted, "Wait… did Stranger Things 2 already release?"

Haru blinked in surprise, then leaned back in his chair, studying her with raised brows. "You also watch this?" His lips curved into a grin, brighter than before. "Perfect. I was about to invite my friends, but none of them ever watch this kind of series. At least…" he tapped her forehead lightly with his finger, "…I have my sister."

"Let's watch this together," Haru said with a smile.

Luna nodded, her heart fluttering just a little. Haru quickly connected his laptop to the TV screen, the familiar intro music filling the room. They both moved toward the sofa, and Haru sat neatly on the edge, leaving her space beside him.

Luna glanced at him out of the corner of her eye. There was something about the small gestures—his quiet respect, —that made her chest feel warm. She couldn't deny it… she liked his manners.

They both sat on the sofa, completely absorbed in the series. Luna's eyes kept glancing at Haru, as she usually did—but this time, something was different. His eyes slowly closed, and before she could register it, he had fallen asleep.

"Wait… what? … you slept?" she whispered to herself, disbelief coloring her voice.

Watching him sleep so peacefully, Luna couldn't help but smile. There was something so calm, so gentle about the way he rested. Her hand twitched, almost instinctively reaching toward him. She didn't dare touch, but she let her fingers hover just above his soft, silky hair, marveling at how smooth it looked in the dim light of the TV.

"He looks… so calm," she thought, her smile growing without realizing it.

Suddenly, the vague sense of realization hit her. Her heart fluttered, but she had no idea what to do with these feelings. Flustered, she focused back on tv

Haru POV

Haru suddenly felt a twinge in his back and realized he had fallen asleep on the sofa without noticing. When he opened his eyes, he noticed Luna, curled up in an awkward position on the sofa.

He chuckled quietly to himself. "She's so cute," he whispered under his breath.

Gently, he scooped her up into his arms, careful not to wake her, and carried her to his bed. He tucked the blanket around her, brushing a few strands of hair from her face before quietly slipping back to the sofa to rest.

Just as he was settling in, there was a soft knock at the door. Peeking through the half-open door, he saw Luna's mother.

"Oh! Luna slept here? Let me take her back," her mother said kindly.

"No, aunty," Haru replied calmly. "Let her sleep peacefully. She must be tired."

"It must be hard for you to sleep on the sofa," she insisted.

Haru shook his head, smiling faintly. "No, aunty. I'm comfortable with it."

Luna mom, smiled softly and gently closed the door behind her.

Luna POV

Warm sunlight streamed in through the curtains, tickling Luna's face and forcing her eyes open. She blinked a few times, stretching under the blanket, when the sudden realization hit her— this wasn't her room.

She sat up instantly. The scent of Haru lingered faintly in the air, the room neat yet carrying his familiar presence. Her eyes darted around, expecting him to be nearby… but his chair was empty, the sofa vacant, and his laptop neatly closed.

"Haru?" she whispered, half hoping he would answer. Silence.

her eyes scanned the room in confusion. The blanket tucked around her, the soft pillow beneath her head—none of it made sense. Slowly, the truth hit her.

"Wait… I fell asleep on the sofa last night…"

Her eyes widened, heat rushing to her cheeks. "Then… Haru… he picked me up?"

She covered her face with both hands, trying to hide the redness spreading across it. The image of him carrying her, carefully laying her down it made her heart race uncontrollably.

"Ugh, what are you thinking, Luna?! He just did it because you're his sister… That's it. Nothing more."

Yet no matter how much she scolded herself, the blush refused to fade.
