Chapter 2 - Ch-2 Imagination!

And slowly the cracking around him grew louder, untill their was a hole big enough for him.

Alex started to fall, he looked around but all that was visible from his eyes was darkness. A never ending one.

"Mnnn lets try this than." Alex crossed his legs, still falling down in this dark reality or it felt like.....

[SPACE-TIME EYE (SSS+++) (Temporary) Acquired]

A notification popped infront of him.

Suddenly, Alex felt a slight itching sensation in his eyes. He closed them for a moment, then opened them again—his normal black eyes were gone. Instead, his right eye was light green, filled with numerous clocks moving irregularly, while his left seemed to contain an entire starry sky within.

He looked around, now what he saw was no longer a dark reality but a complex dimension of time and space. Alex focused at the space nearest to him, the countless clocks in his right eyes started to spin in anti-clock direction.

Then, he saw a scene played out.

Robert standing infront of the awakening pillar, nervously looking at his hands. Then after some time of gathering courage, he pressed it againt the pillar. Alex then noted with amazment that Robert didn't screamed like he was supposed to.

Rather, he blankly stared at the space in front of him with hollow eyes, tears beginning to form.

"What the-?" Alex looked this with wide eyes. Then as if thinking something, he imagined himself gaining ability of a gamer. INSPECT.

[INSPECT (???) (Temporary) Acquired]

[ INSPECT – A unique ability that allows the user to see anyone's details from a gamer's point of view.]

He willed this ability on Robert, a strange light flashed in his left eye. The space infront of him shook voilently, then crumbled into tiny pieces.

Then a blue holographic screen appeared in front of him.

[ Name: Robert Evans

 Age: 14 years

 Title: N/A

 Level: 0

 Class: N/A

 Talent: N/A

 Str: 11, Con: 10, Agi: 12, MP: 5

 Skill: N/A

Comment: Perfectly fit for a NTR protagonist, though his hair fell just a bit short of covering his eyes.]

"As expected he doesn't have the fire affinity." Alex nodded his head while rubbing his chin.

"Still, what's with this comment?" Alex seriously contemplated whether he should cut off Robert's family jewels.

Shaking his head to erase this thought, he pondered why Robert didn't have the fire talent.

"Could it be this is actually a parallel world." Alex said, but then thinking about what he imagined he denied this idea.

"Not possible...what I imagined was just the fourth dimension of space that are usually present in those high level fantasy novel and anime, not some multiverse reality."

Alex was seriously confused then a thought stuck him. "Don't tell me it was me who give him that talent."

It wasn't a baseless thought.

"I can imagine myself giving him that for fun." Alex had a deadpan expersion as he finally uncovered the truth.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA" Then suddenly, he started laughing, his unrestrained crazy laughter echoed the space-time dimension. Luckly, the present was frozen or else his laughter might have attracted some really dangerous begins into this reality.

"Damn, I am OP as fuck! HAHA." Since reincarnating, he had always thought his life would be full of riddles and trials. To him, that kind of life wasn't really bad—it even held a unique sense of expectation and fun. But who cares about that sort of life when he could gain instant power with little to no hardship, no sacrifice?

After a minute, Alex finally calmed down and looked left and right. "This place is seriously so empty… where's my Dragon of Infinity?...Like Hello."

He was met with only silence.

"OH! I'm such an idiot! How can they respond when I've stopped time?" he said, gently hitting his head while winking one eye.

"....."

"....That was embarrassing luckly no one was listening." Alex said with a disgusted face. He shivered just thinking about it.

"...."

"Ahhh… what should I do now?" Alex swam aimlessly, debating whether he should go back or fix the issue with Robert first.

"It would be fun to see how things turn out if I don't help him… or I could give him something else…" Alex was brimming with energy at the idea.

Rubbing his hands excitedly, he looked at the space near him. A faint crack began to appear as time rapidly rewound in that particular area.

[INSPECT (???) Revoked ]

Alex was startled, but after reading the notification, he realized a flaw in this talent—he couldn't infinitely imagine things, especially multiple things at once.

"Though it's not really a big issue, I can easily overcome it." Imagination is a mental activity, and a person has a limited amount of mental energy. But in this high-end fantasy world, there are people whose mental energy can reach such a level that it affects their surroundings.

After a certain level they don't even need to sleep. And Alex can easily reach that level not by directly using his talent, since that would only be temporary, but he can do it indirectly. It's all about how he imagine something to make it work.

"Let's leave all that to future self and try to have fun." Alex was going to give Robert a very powerful talent. Light Affinity, not just any but a very high level one at that.

Talent is a very abstract thing, since everyone possesses a certain amount of it in everything. It's just that the amount might not be high enough to make any real impact.

People with high talent will awaken it during their first ritual. But even then, there will always be differences—for example, two people may awaken the same affinity talent, yet one's talent may be far stronger than the other's.

Placing one leg into the space rift, he vanished from the space-time dimension.

---

"Mnn, the school canteen, huh…" Alex checked his surroundings—he was indeed in the school canteen. Glancing at the clock on the wall, it read 7:12 AM, while the awakening was set to begin at 9 o'clock.

"Still, that guy was actually here at this time… either he was too excited or nervous as hell." Alex leaned more toward excited, since he knew that guy too well—a person with Main Character Syndrome.

Alex had just imagined that the space rift will occur were Robert was few hours before Awakening, so he was bit startled to find that he was here at this time.

He, himself was fast asleep at this time.

"It don't matter." Alex shrugged.

Then, extending his right hand he imagined a small bottle of glass, containing light element in liquid form.

As he imagined, a bottle containing a golden liquid manifested. Just by looking at it, Alex could feel the concentrated element of light. If not for his SSS-grade eyes, he might have gone blind from merely staring at it.

Casting INSPECT, that he imagined one more.

[Item: Elixir of Eternal Dawn

"Nope, can't let him drink it like this."
