Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

This expedition was attended by several A-class adventurers, including Lily. They walked into the forest with weapons in hand. However, there were no monsters in the forest. "This is strange. There are no monsters here," said the young man with a spear and shield in his hand. "You're right," responded another.

"Maybe they're afraid of us," said the large man with red armor around his body. "Lily, did you find anything strange?" asked Ciel. "No, there are no signs of monsters up ahead," he answered firmly while busy staring at the magic tool he was holding. "Good then," Ciel immediately went to the front row to direct the adventurers. This is indeed strange. Before the dungeon appeared, the forest was indeed filled with monsters that mutated from venomous animals. but they did not show themselves.

They slowly walked into the dungeon, anticipating any eventuality. However, after a few steps, an earthquake suddenly struck, destroying the entrance, trapping the adventurers inside. At that moment, Lily's magic tool suddenly lit up. Ciel, who saw it, immediately gave the order to form a defensive formation. "How many are there?" he asked, trying to confirm it. "More than a hundred," Lily answered in panic. A few seconds later, the tool shattered into pieces. "Lily!!!" Ciel shouted. Lily already knew the sign. She immediately took out her wand and flew upwards using wind magic. Ciel immediately took out his sword and stood guard under Lily. So did the other adventurers. They knew exactly that this was the worst scenario they had ever faced.

"O earth dwellers. Please help me with your power!" Lily began to chant a spell. Instantly, the ground that the monster wave was stepping on swallowed some of them. It was not much, but it was enough to relieve Ciel and the others.

"Lily, we have to get out of here!" Ciel shouted as he beat the monsters that escaped from the hole Lily made. "Give me some time!" she pleaded. she quickly touched the ground to find the safest route for him and the others. "Found it," she reported. After hearing that, Ciel immediately raised his sword upwards. "O people of the earth. Give me your strength!" He immediately swung the sword down at the crack that was big enough to knock the monsters inti it. "Follow her!" he shouted. The adventurers immediately followed Lily with Ciel behind them. he made sure that no monsters approached them. While Lily swiftly led the way in Ciel's place.

"How long do we run?!" asked an archer girl behind Lily. "I don't know!" replied Lily who was still looking for a way to get them out. while behind them the monsters were quickly approaching them. Seeing this, Ciel immediately stopped in his tracks. "Ciel?" Lily also stopped in her tracks while the adventurers ran past them. "Lily, you go first. I will restrain them," he said. "You won't be able to, Ciel! There are too many of them," Lily argued. he knew what Ciel would do. "This is the only way to keep them from getting close!" Ciel said firmly which made Lily speechless. He immediately raised his sword again and swung it upwards, instantly collapsing the ceiling of the dungeon. But it also separates Lily from Ciel.

"Ciel!!"

"I'm sorry Lily"

from behind the ruins Lily could clearly hear Ciel's scream. "No, please," Lily begged helplessly. at this time he had run out of mana to help him get out of there. "Ciel!!" Immediately a light illuminated the entire dungeon, eliminating everything left. It wasn't raining that day, but all the villagers didn't feel happy at that time. That day was a day that left a deep impression on everyone.
