Bai Ye wasn't completely clueless about getting revenge on the All-Knowing, All-Powerful Lord.
After all, as long as the members allowed it, they could meet each other in their respective worlds through the chat group. Once his strength reached Level 4, he could go directly and meet them in person through the channels they opened.
I hope that fellow member will give me a chance to repay him personally. Bai Ye thought while he was training.
And just as Bai Ye was training, Peter Parker, who had just finished making his Spider-Man suit and was preparing to become a street hero, watched the video of Bai Ye going on a rampage and fell into a long silence.
He had only officially resigned from Bai Ye yesterday, and the very next night, Bai Ye had already caused such a huge commotion.
Watching his entire class discussing Bai Ye, Peter couldn't help but secretly envy him. When would his name be so well-known?
"Peter, snap out of it." At this moment, a voice sounded beside Parker's ear. He turned his head and saw James holding something and handing it to him.
"What is this?" Peter Parker instinctively took the object from James. It was an exquisitely crafted ID badge, bearing the name Osborn Industries.
"Your performance during the last internship was excellent. You were able to answer many questions, so you were selected as an intern for Osborn Industries. You will need to report there every Saturday and Sunday. This is your intern ID card, which you can use to enter." James said with a smile.
"Selected by Osborn?" Peter Parker looked at the ID card in his hand with surprise. Since becoming Spider-Man, good things really kept coming.
But he was soon a little worried, because he had said he wanted to be a superhero who helped the neighborhood. His school time was already very tight, not to mention he now had to go to Osborn for an internship on Saturdays and Sundays.
Thinking of this, he envied Bai Ye even more. He was still a high school student, yet under the school's permission, he didn't even have to go to school.
But as they say, speak of the devil, and he shall appear. The next moment, James said, "Peter, you and Bai Ye usually have a good relationship, right? Do you know where he lives now?"
"Ah… yes, does the teacher have something to ask him?" Peter looked at James with confusion.
James hesitated for a moment and still said, "He hasn't been to school for more than ten days. Of course, I know he will be very busy in his life as a superhero, so it's okay if he doesn't come."
"But at the meeting today, the principal wants him to go back to school and give a speech to the students as an outstanding alumnus."
"Huh?" Peter was stunned when he heard this.
It hasn't even been a month, and Bai Ye has already become an outstanding alumnus before even graduating, and he's being invited back to school by the principal to give a speech?
"Could you please tell Bai Ye about this? His phone is turned off, and I can't get a hold of him either," James requested.
Peter nodded hesitantly, "Okay… I'll ask Bai Ye after school and let you know his answer tomorrow."
Watching James breathe a sigh of relief, Peter sighed inwardly, guessing that Bai Ye probably wouldn't agree.
After all, he had watched Bai Ye train for the past ten-odd days, witnessing Bai Ye's physical fitness increase by four or five times over that period.
Given Bai Ye's current obsession with fitness, he probably thinks that going back to school to give a speech is a waste of time and will just refuse.
No matter what, I'll ask on the teacher's behalf, Peter Parker thought.
He waited silently until school was out, then immediately left for the Mains Club. He found Camilla sipping red wine in the private gym.
"Camilla, where's Bai Ye? I need to find him," Peter Parker asked, secretly wondering how Bai Ye, a training fanatic, could possibly be far from the gym equipment.
"You're looking for Bai Ye? He should be at the factory on Fifth Avenue. Also, we're moving out in a few days."
"Moving out? Where to?"
"The villa on Broadway Avenue." Camilla waved a hand, signaling him to leave.
Following the address Camilla gave him, Peter arrived at the factory where Bai Ye was training.
But before he could open the door, he heard a loud "BOOM!" Two figures instantly burst through the glass and flew out of the factory. After rolling on the ground a couple of times, they lay sprawled out, unconscious.
What's going on? Peter Parker, utterly confused, kindly went forward to check. He found that one of the men who had been ejected was the street hero, Punisher, who had come to the club to ask Bai Ye for help.
At this moment, two men lay on the ground, utterly helpless, with broken limbs of varying degrees.
After Peter dragged the two to the side and called an ambulance, he walked into the factory, bewildered, only to find the sound of heavy blows continuously echoing from within. Bai Ye was relentlessly practicing on a humanoid machine.
"Bai, those two outside are…" Peter asked curiously.
"Just two meddling superheroes," Bai Ye said flatly.
Three minutes earlier, the Punisher and Daredevil, after seeing Kingpin's promotion of Bai Ye, came directly to question him.
They said he shouldn't cooperate with a criminal like Kingpin and that he should join them to eliminate evil by assaulting Kingpin's lair together.
Bai Ye, not wanting to bother with them, told them to leave, but they refused to budge, still mouthing off.
Annoyed by them, Bai Ye directly broke their limbs, ensuring they wouldn't leave the hospital for half a month, before throwing them out of the factory.
Looking at Peter Parker, Bai Ye asked, "What brings you here? Shouldn't you be busy being Spider-Man?"
"It's like this. Teacher James asked me to find you and see if you'd be willing to go back to school."
"Go back to school? For what?" Bai Ye asked. Didn't they agree to give him a month off?
"Teacher James said the principal wants you to come back and give a speech as an outstanding alumnus," Peter Parker replied.
Outstanding alumnus speech... Bai Ye paused, then immediately refused. "Tell the teacher I declined. Make up any excuse you want."
Figures. Peter Parker nodded. His task complete, he didn't linger. He watched Bai Ye training for a bit out of curiosity before leaving.
What Bai Ye didn't expect was that, even though he had just refused the invitation from Midtown High School's principal, another principal's voice echoed in his mind.
"Hello, child, let me introduce myself."
A week later, as Bai Ye was working out, an old but incredibly gentle voice suddenly appeared in his mind: "My name is Charles Francis Xavier, and I would like to ask you for a favor."
